A Fine Dance Studio
Waivers, Policies, Terms & Conditions of Enrollment

By enrolling in any A Fine Dance Studio (“AFDS”) program, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the following policies.

Registration Fees (Non-Refundable)
Registration fees are required to hold a dancer’s place and are non-refundable.
- Adult Programs: $10 per person, per session
- Summer Programs: $10 per person
- Fall–Spring Programs: $60 per family

Withdrawal & Refund Policy
Full School Year Programs (September–June)
All registrations are for the full school year. Once the season begins, all payments are non-refundable and non-creditable.
Before the season begins:
• Cancellations made more than 7 days before the first class receive a 100% non-transferable account credit.
• Cancellations made within 7 days of the first class receive a 50% non-transferable account credit.
After the season begins: Once classes have started, no refunds or credits are issued for any payments already made. Families may withdraw at any time by providing written notice at least 15 days prior to the next scheduled Auto-Pay. This stops future billing only and does not create any refund or credit for past payments. All withdrawal requests must be emailed to robin@afdance.com or abigail@afdance.com. Verbal withdrawals are not accepted.

Summer Programs, Clinics, Pop-Ups & Short Sessions
All registrations are non-refundable.
• Cancellations made more than 7 days before the program start date receive a 100% non-transferable account credit.
• Cancellations made within 7 days of the start date receive a 50% non-transferable account credit.
• Once a program has started, no refunds or credits will be issued.

Sibling Discount
Families with more than one dancer enrolled receive 5% off tuition for each additional child after the first, applied to the lower-priced enrollment(s). This discount applies to tuition only and does not apply to registration fees, costumes, competition fees, or merchandise.

AFDS Loyalty Discount
Dancers who have been with A Fine Dance Studio for 10 years or more receive a tuition discount equal to the number of years they have danced with us (e.g., 10 years = 10% off). This discount applies to tuition only and does not apply to registration fees, costumes, competition fees, or merchandise.

Payment Processing Fee
A 3% processing surcharge is applied to credit card payments to cover transaction and processing costs. Debit cards and ACH payments are not subject to this fee.

Medical Withdrawals
If a dancer must withdraw due to injury or medical condition, a written request along with official documentation from a licensed healthcare provider must be submitted for review. AFDS reserves the right to determine whether any accommodation or credit will be issued.

Additional Policies
Refunds or credits are issued only for studio-initiated cancellations or verified administrative errors.
AFDS reserves the right to suspend or dismiss any dancer for behavioral issues, policy violations, or unpaid balances. No refunds or credits will be issued in these cases.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Procedures
• Families should use the safety drop-off circle when arriving.
• Hallways must remain clear to comply with fire and safety regulations.
• When weather allows, families should wait outside at the bottom of the ramp for pick-up.
• A staff member will escort dancers to their caregiver.

Behavior & Zero-Tolerance Policy
AFDS maintains a zero-tolerance policy for disrespectful, unsafe, or disruptive behavior by dancers or family members. We are committed to maintaining a supportive, positive, and emotionally safe environment for all.

Safety Reminder
Please drive slowly in the parking lot and on the main road. Small children are difficult to see—especially dancers dressed in black. To reduce congestion and ensure safety, family members should remain outside whenever possible.

Liability Release: I understand that participation in dance classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions, travel, and related studio activities involves inherent risks of physical injury and other damages. I voluntarily assume all risks and agree to release and hold harmless A Fine Dance Studio, LLC, its owners, directors, instructors, staff, volunteers, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, suits, causes of action, or liability of any kind arising from or connected with participation in studio activities.

Health & Medical Authorization. I certify that the participant is in good health and has no condition that would make participation unsafe. In the event of illness or injury during studio activities, I authorize A Fine Dance Studio staff or volunteers to obtain emergency medical care as deemed necessary, and I accept full financial responsibility for any resulting treatment.
