1. Registration & Enrollment
Registration Fee
* A yearly registration fee is required at the time of enrollment.
* Students who withdraw mid-year and later return must pay the registration fee again.
* The registration fee is waived only for families who join during Early Bird Registration or designated promotional months.

Trial Class
* New students may attend one free trial class.
* To secure their spot, tuition must be completed before the student’s second class.


2. Tuition & Payment Policies

Payment Plan Options
Families may choose one of the following:
* Yearly Payment (Paid in full): 10% discount on the total tuition.
* Semester-Based Payment: 5% discount on the total tuition.
* August–December (longer semester due to holiday breaks)
* January–March
* April–June
* Monthly Payment: No discounts offered.

Automatic Billing
* After the initial payment, tuition will be billed automatically each semester unless a drop request is submitted by the deadline.

General Payment Requirements
* Tuition must be paid before the student’s second class of each semester.
* Tuition is based on scheduled instructional weeks and excludes holiday breaks.

Non-Refundable Fees
All payments made to Qala Creations are non-refundable, including:
* Tuition
* Registration fees
* Event fees
* Participation fees
No credits or refunds are issued for:
* Absences
* Vacations
* Holidays
* Weather delays/closures
* Schedule conflicts
* Relocation/moving
Refunds or credits are only considered for documented injuries.


3. Drop & Withdrawal Policy

Drop Deadlines
* To drop for the January semester, notify us by December 1.
* To drop for the April semester, notify us by March 1.
* For monthly tuition, a 15-day notice is required.

Important Notes
* Missing class does not count as notification of withdrawal.
* Tuition will continue to be billed until the official drop request is submitted by the deadline.

4. Make-Up Class Policy
* Make-up classes are offered only when Qala Creations cancels a session.
* Student absences (illness, travel, schedule conflicts) are not eligible for make-ups.
* Instructors will help students catch up on choreography as needed.
* Students may attend a make-up at another Qala Creations location; please note teachers and choreography may differ.

5. Clothing & Dress Code
* All students must wear the Qala Creations t-shirt during class.
* One complimentary t-shirt is provided upon enrollment; additional shirts may be purchased.
* Students must wear proper dance attire and keep hair neatly tied back.

6. Performances, Competitions & Events

Performance Opportunities
Students may be invited to perform at:
* Celebrity Bollywood shows
* Local and community cultural events
* Dance Pe Chance
* Naach Competition
* Qala Creations Winter Gala
* Qala Creations Competition
* Annual Recital

Participation Fees
* Some events require a separate participation fee.

Tickets
* For major events (Winter Gala, Competition, Annual Recital), each family must purchase at least one ticket.
* Additional tickets may be purchased without limit.

Costumes & Accessories
* Qala Creations provides all costumes, jewelry, and props.
* A small dry-cleaning fee is charged after each event if required.
* All costumes must be returned the very next week of the class neatly labelled in bag.
* Failure to return costumes or soiled, damaged, Torn may apply $50 Penalty.

Parent Policy During Class
* Parents may not sit inside the studio during class.
* Parents may enter during the last 5 minutes for brief observation.

Student Participation
* Placement, choreography, and casting decisions are made solely by instructors.
* Participation is determined by commitment, attendance, effort, and teamwork.
* Parental interference in artistic or casting decisions is not permitted.

7. Certification & Recognition
* Students who complete the full academic year will receive a Certificate of Completion after the performance.
* All Annual Recital performers will receive a trophy acknowledging their dedication.

8. Liability Waiver & Injury Release

Risk Acknowledgment
I understand dance is a physical activity and may involve risk of injury. I voluntarily accept all risks associated with participation for myself or my child.

Liability Release
Qala Creations is not responsible for injuries occurring during:
* Classes
* Rehearsals
* Practices
* Events
* Performances

Injury Refund Review
Requests for credit or refund due to injury will be reviewed only when official documentation is provided.

9. Policy Acknowledgment & Parent Signature
By enrolling in Qala Creations, I acknowledge that:
* I have read and understand all Qala Creations policies.
* I agree to follow all rules, deadlines, and procedures.
* I understand all payments are non-refundable.
* I understand the automatic billing system and drop deadlines.
* I accept the participation expectations for my child.
