CINDERELLA'S DANCE STUDIO, LLC
RULES AND REGULATIONS
Effective Date: June 1, 2026
We are so excited you have joined our dance family! We have a few rules that we want you to be aware of that helps us run an efficient dance school.
1. DRESS CODE: The new dress code communicated to all dancers by Miss Micah on enrollment day is in full force and effect; compliance with the specified attire is mandatory at all rehearsals. Jeans, jean shorts, tee shirts (that are not Cinderella's merch), etc. are not allowed. Hair must be pulled in a ponytail or bun. Following the dress code promotes unity and uniformity between the dancers. Failing to wear the correct attire will be restrictive and could possibly result in injury. This a no-tolerance policy.
2. KINDNESS: We will use our words to build up and encourage others. There will be zero tolerance for bullying or tearing down, or any behavior that undermines the dignity of teachers or other dancers. If a student is not choosing kindness to her/his classmates and/or teachers, and/or engages in conduct that is deemed unkind or disruptive to their classmates or teachers, as determined by Miss Micah in her sole discretion, the dancer may be asked to leave and will be removed from the program with no refunds for payments made to date. This is a no-tolerance policy.
3. TEACHERS/ASSISTANTS: Cinderella’s Dance Studio, LLC is owned and operated by Micah Hicks, with studios located in both Elk City and Weatherford. Due to running multiple studios, there will be instances where Miss Micah will be unable to attend certain classes. However, we can assure you that when Miss Micah is not present, every class will be run by her exceptionally talented and qualified assistants. Please be made aware that this is how we operate.
4. STUDIO OWNER AUTHORITY: All classes, choreography, recitals, performances, rehearsals, and overall studio decisions are under the exclusive authority and direction of Miss Micah. All scheduling, administrative, and artistic decisions made by Miss Micah are final and binding. Parents agree to communicate respectfully and abide by all rules and decisions made by Miss Micah without dispute.
5. COMMUNICATION: All official communications will be conducted through the Band app and by email. It is imperative that all parents and/or guardians ensure they are registered and actively using this app in order to stay informed about important updates and announcements. Failure to use the Band App may result in missing critical information, and Cinderella’s Dance Studio, LLC will not be held responsible for any consequence arising from such non-compliance. You are welcome to message Miss Micah privately through the Band App or email if you ever have any questions.
6. RECITAL, REHEARSAL AND PICTURE DAY
These are our MOST IMPORTANT events of the year and are mandatory for all dancers. Miss Micah will release the event dates on August 1st. It is VERY important you mark these events on your Calendar as soon as they are released! THESE EVENTS ARE MANDATORY, and failure to attend may result in expulsion from future performance and activities.
7. EMERGENCY MEDICAL TREATMENT
In the event of an emergency, you authorize the studio to administer first aid and to secure medical treatment for your child (or, if an adult student, for you) if you cannot be reached.
8. TUITION/FINANCIAL INFO
Tuition is due on the first day of each month. Payments can be made via ACH on our website, here. Payments made on or after the 10th day of the month will incur a late fee of $10.00. Every 10 days late will result in an additional $10 fee. Each dancer will make ten total payments (covering the month of August through May). The first tuition payment, made on enrollment day in June, covers the last month of tuition in May. This policy helps us manage the busy recital season and secure necessary resources in advance.
In addition to the monthly tuition, there may be additional fees for costumes, competition entry fees, and other special events. A dancer should budget $175 for a minimum of two costumes, or $275 for older dancers requiring three to four costumes. Payment plans may be available August 1st.
A recital fee of $50 is due on January 1. This fee helps cover the costs of our production.
In the event that tuition and any costs or fees set forth above are not paid on or before the 10th day of the month assessed, the dancer will not be allowed to participate in classes or performances until the balance is paid in full. Continued non-compliance, as determined by Miss Micah in her sole discretion, may result in the dancer’s removal from the program with no refunds for payments made to date. All tuition, fees, and payments are non-refundable regardless of attendance, withdrawal, or dismissal from the program. Missed classes are not credited, refunded, or transferable. Makeup classes may be offered at the studio’s discretion but are not guaranteed.
8. MEDIA RELEASE
Cinderella’s Dance Studio may photograph or record classes and events for promotional purposes. By signing below, you grant permission for your dancer’s likeness to appear in marketing materials, unless a written opt-out is submitted.
9. POLICY CHANGES. Policies are subject to change at the discretion of the studio owner. Any updates will be communicated via the Band App and will take effect immediately unless otherwise stated.
