To ensure a positive experience for all dancers, families, and staff, we ask that all parents/guardians read and agree to the following policies before registering for the upcoming dance season.
1. Season Commitment
By enrolling, I understand that I am committing my child to the full dance season (August–June). I acknowledge that consistent attendance and participation are essential to my dancer’s progress and to all choreography for the year-end showcase.
2. Tuition & Payments
I understand that tuition is an annual fee divided into equal monthly installments for convenience.
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month and considered late after the 5th. Late or declined payments incur a $10 fee. I agree to storing a credit card on file, which will be auto-charged on the 1st of each month.
I acknowledge that tuition is non-refundable and not prorated for absences, holidays, or missed classes.
I understand that costume and performance fees will be billed separately.
3. Withdrawal Policy
I agree to provide 30 days written notice via email if I choose to withdraw my dancer from the program.
I understand that I am financially responsible for any tuition due during that 30-day period.
4. Attendance & Make-Up Classes
I understand that missed classes may be made up (when possible) within 30 days in an age- and level-appropriate class.
I acknowledge that excessive absences may impact my dancer’s ability to perform in the year-end showcase.
5. Dress Code & Conduct
I will ensure my dancer arrives on time and follows the required dress code for each class.
I understand that dancers should show respect to teachers, classmates, and the studio space at all times.
6. Parent Etiquette
As a parent/guardian, I agree to:
Communicate respectfully with all staff, instructors, and other families.
Avoid giving corrections or coaching from the sidelines.
Refrain from gossip, bullying, disruptive behavior, or negative commentary about dancers, families, or staff.
Address any concerns or feedback privately with the studio director via email or scheduled meeting—not during class hours or transitions. No complaints may be made to instructors. All concerns must be raised to the studio director.
7. Two-Strike Policy
Our studio strives to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all. Therefore:
A first violation of parent etiquette or studio policies will result in a written warning.
A second violation may result in the removal of the dancer and family from the program, at the discretion of studio leadership. No refunds will be issued in this case.
8. Photo & Media Release
Unless otherwise requested in writing, I grant permission for my dancer to be photographed or filmed during classes and events for promotional use by the studio.
9. Liability Waiver
I acknowledge the physical nature of dance and voluntarily assume the risk of injury. I agree not to hold the studio, its staff, or instructors liable for any injuries sustained on the premises or during participation in any studio-related activities.
10. Communication
I agree to notify the studio administrator via email regarding any planned or unplanned absences. I understand that all communication should go through the appropriate channels and agree to refrain from contacting the director outside of working hours unless it is necessary and appropriate.
