Breaking Pointe Dance General Policies *The Studio/Director/Instructor has discretion to require a student to observe a lesson for appropriate reasons *Please be prompt in dropping off and picking up your student. *For their safety all students must be escorted to appropriate studio door and wait inside the studio to be picked up after lessons. *No Gum Chewing in the studio at anytime *No Food or Drink is allowed in the studio (water is ok) *Parents are responsible for monitoring all siblings not in lessons. *BPDC and its staff are not liable for any damage to or losses of personal property or valuables. *Student is responsible for tuition even if dancers take a month vacation *It is the responsibility of the parent to inform BP of any changes of enrollment. *All class placements are solely at the discretion of the director/staff Tuition Policy *Tuition Policy please note NEW tuition dates listed below *Studio tuition payments are non-refundable and non-transferable *Tuition payments are due on the 1st of each month for the upcoming month of classes. *Tuition is considered late on the 10th of each month *The account holder is responsible for making tuition on time to avoid late fees and penalties. *All checks must be made out to Breaking Pointe & must have dancers Full name in the memo. Late Fee Policy If the studio is closed on the 1st of the month or anytime through the 1st of the month- Customers may remit payment by mail, studio drop box, set up auto pay. We greatly appreciate customers setting up payment before absences and vacation to avoid paying late fees. There is a $15 late fee for payments made 8 days after the due date. After 30 days, a late fee of $30 will be applied. After 60 days, a late fee of $60 will be applied payment is later than 30 days, the student will not be able to participate in class. All payments are non-refundable. /Additional NFS /Declined Credit Card $35 Breaking Pointe Dress Code *Students are required to wear appropriate shoes/ attire to classes *All classes are required to wear black leotard/Tight fitting accessories (that are purchased from the studio)/hair back bun/pony out of the face. *Parents are responsible to purchase all appropriate dance attire *Hair must be pulled away from face and securely fastened *No excessive jewelry should be worn during lessons *BPDC is not responsible for any loss, theft, damage to property. *ALL studio dancers are required to purchase a Cover up T-Shirt *Princess classes require Ballet shoes ($18) & Tan Tap Shoes ($30) *Combo Classes Require Half Shoes ($22) & Tan Tap Shoes ($30) *Students will be sized for shoes at the studio & parents will be able to purchase. RECITAL *BPDC students are given the opportunity to perform on stage *Parents are responsible to purchasing necessary costumes from BPDC by the due date. *Costumes will not be ordered without costume deposits. *Each Princess/Combo class hour has 2 dances and 2 costumes. * Costumes run $65-$90 a piece * Tumble /Contemp./ Hip-Hop Classes / 1 costume * See calendar deposit breakdown dates *Costumes payments are non-refundable and non-transferable *Parents are responsible for purchasing tickets in advance. *BPDC makes no guarantee that tickets will not sell out. *Tickets are non refundable and no exchange * Dress Rehearsals and show are held in place of normal class and is your monthly tuition * Recital Fee $160 /Family (add $250 for each dancer) Fee includes Finale Recital T-shirt / 2 parents Tickets/Keepsake Recital Book. Ad Fee is separate and is $85.
