Registration Waiver & Policies

By registering myself or my child for classes, camps, workshops, teams, private lessons, performances, or other activities at Studio 9 Dance Academy, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

ASSUMPTION OF RISK & LIABILITY WAIVER

I understand that dance, tumbling, fitness, yoga, conditioning, rehearsals, performances, and other physical activities involve inherent risks, including the possibility of injury.

I voluntarily assume these risks for myself and/or my child and give permission to participate in Studio 9 Dance Academy activities.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Studio 9 Dance Academy, its owners, instructors, employees, contractors, volunteers, and affiliated facilities from claims arising from ordinary risks associated with participation, except where prohibited by law.

MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION

In the event of an injury or medical emergency, I authorize Studio 9 Dance Academy staff to provide reasonable first aid and, when necessary, contact emergency medical services.

I understand that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred on behalf of myself or my child.

Parents/guardians are responsible for informing Studio 9 Dance Academy of any allergies, medical concerns, physical limitations, or other information necessary for safe participation.

TUITION & PAYMENTS

Registration is not complete until all required registration information and payments have been submitted.

Tuition and other applicable fees are due according to the payment schedule established by Studio 9 Dance Academy. I understand that:

Tuition is based on enrollment and reserves a student's place in class.
Missed classes do not automatically qualify for refunds or tuition credits.
Additional fees may apply for costumes, competitions, conventions, performances, team activities, or special events.
Accounts must remain current for continued participation.
Studio 9 Dance Academy reserves the right to establish and enforce late-payment and returned-payment policies.
ATTENDANCE & CLASS POLICIES

Students are expected to arrive on time, prepared for class, and dressed according to Studio 9 Dance Academy guidelines.

Parents and students understand that consistent attendance is important for instruction, choreography, performances, and team participation.

Classes may occasionally be changed, combined, rescheduled, or canceled due to weather, instructor availability, performances, facility issues, or other circumstances.

STUDENT & PARENT CONDUCT

Studio 9 Dance Academy is committed to maintaining a positive, encouraging, and respectful environment.

Students and families are expected to treat instructors, staff members, dancers, parents, facilities, and one another with respect. Bullying, harassment, threatening behavior, inappropriate language, or conduct that significantly disrupts the learning environment will not be tolerated.

Studio 9 Dance Academy reserves the right to address conduct concerns and, when necessary, remove a participant from a class, team, event, or program.

DROP-OFF & PICK-UP

Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that minor students are safely dropped off and picked up at the appropriate times.

Studio 9 Dance Academy is not responsible for students outside of their scheduled class, rehearsal, camp, or supervised activity time.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Students are responsible for their personal belongings. Studio 9 Dance Academy is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged clothing, shoes, electronics, jewelry, or other personal property.

PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE

Studio 9 Dance Academy may photograph or record classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions, camps, and special events.

Unless I notify Studio 9 Dance Academy in writing that I am opting out, I grant permission for photographs and video containing myself and/or my child to be used for Studio 9 Dance Academy promotional purposes, including its website, social media, advertising, printed materials, and promotional videos.

Studio 9 Dance Academy will not sell a student's individual image to an outside party for commercial endorsement without additional permission.

COMMUNICATION

I understand that Studio 9 Dance Academy may communicate important information through email, text message, registration software, social media, or other communication methods.

It is my responsibility to maintain accurate contact information and review communications regarding schedules, payments, performances, weather cancellations, and other studio information.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By completing registration, I confirm that I have read, understand, and agree to the Studio 9 Dance Academy Waiver & Policies.

I understand that my electronic acceptance during registration serves as my acknowledgment and agreement to these terms.
