Tuition Policy:
Tuition is automatically charged to your requested account on file on the 1st of each month.
All Credit or Debit cards will be automatically charged a 3.5% Surcharge.
ACH (directly from a checking or savings bank account) will NOT be charged any additional surcharges. We strongly encourage all families to use ACH as their stated billing account within your Studio Director account.
Tuition does not include recital fees, competition fees, costumes, competition entry fees or recital tickets.
Tuition will be the same whether a month has 5 weeks or holiday closures causing 2-3 classes.
*Late Fees - A $30 late fee will be charged on the 10th of the month for delinquent accounts.
*Any student with 2 consecutive months on non-payment will be dropped from the class.
DISCOUNTS - We provide substantial family discounts for every additional dancer you have in the studio. Each dancer has their own program (ie: # of classes per week through unlimited).
Your first dancer is regular price. Each additional dancer is discounted. Sound your primary dancer program change – the secondary dancer may become primary based on tuition program chosen.
Attendance Policy:
Attendance will be monitored in all classes. Consistent attendance increases strength, technique and confidence. Consistency also enhances your dancer's experience and allows for friendships to be formed that can last a lifetime.
Attendance for Competition team members is required. Class absence should be extremely limited and due to illness or pre-planned schedule conflicts. Please have proactive and consistent communication with Evolve Management regarding all absence(s).
Code of Conduct:
Evolve’s Studio, Faculty and Student Code of Conduct requires our faculty, dancers and parents to be respectful and supportive of one another. Our code of conduct is noted on our website. If you every have any concerns in this matter, please address them directly with EDP Management. EDP has a zero tolerance for bullying, intimidation or aggression within our studio. EDP staff/faculty have the right to release your dancer from class if they are being disrespectful, distracting or other poor behavior during class.
Punctuality:
Dancers arriving more than 10 minutes late, will not be permitted into class. Class structure provides ample time for warm-up, stretch, progressions etc. Arriving to class greater than 10 minutes into the scheduled class time can be detrimental to the dancer and disruptive to the class. Classes missed due to tardiness, illness or pre-arranged vacations may be made up within a month of the missed class. If a dancer has multiple tardy concerns for a specific class, Evolve staff will suggest a new class assignment.
Make Up Policy:
Class structure provides ample time for warm-up, stretch, progressions etc. Arriving to class greater than 10 minutes into the scheduled class time can be detrimental to the dancer and disruptive to the class. Classes missed due to tardiness, illness or pre-arranged vacations may be made up within a month of the missed class. Any/all make up class must be approved by Evolve Staff. Make-up classes will be within the dancer's technique level and same/similar style.
Drop Policy:
Evolve's class drop procedure requires a minimum of 30-day notice for the FOLLOWING month's billing. The authorized parent or guardian must submit all drop requests via email to info@evolvedanceplex.com. Any drop requests submitted on, or after, the 1st of the month will be processed the following billing cycle and will not be retroactive or refunded. Verbal drop requests will not be honored.
Communication Policy:
Email is our main form of communication regarding needs, concerns or inquiries - Please email info@evolvedanceplex.com *ANNOUNCEMENTS will come out by email. Please provide your best contact email in your parent portal.
Teacher/Faculty Communications - please do not stop staff before, during, after class or in between classes to discuss any student items/issues/concerns. Out of respect for all students, our tight class schedule and your privacy - please address all needs via email or directly with Mrs. Brittany, Mrs. Wendie or with the EDP Receptionist.
Student Drop Off & Pick Up Policy:
Dancers
can be dropped off no more than 20 minutes prior to their first class unless previously arranges/approved by Evolve Staff.
must be picked up within 15 minutes of their last class unless previously arranges/approved by Evolve Staff
must be picked up or take a class if a break is longer than 45 minutes unless otherwise arranged with the administration.
has more than a 20-minute break between classes we urge them to work on school work or another quiet activity within the studio. We ask that students not leave/walk away to hang outside the studio – unless clearly approved by a parent. Please keep open communication with Evolve Management.
Thank you for understanding that our drop-off and pick-up policy is to ensure the safety of our dancers and faculty.
Etiquette:
Students are to arrive to class on time and in proper attire. All dancers are required to act in a respectful, supportive and attentive manner. If an Evolve teacher determines a dancer's behavior as unacceptable, the dancer will be excused from class and supervised by Evolve staff until their parent/guardian can pick them up. If a dancer is excused from class on more than one occasion, Evolve staff reserve the right to refuse further attendance at Evolve Dance Plex.
Dress Code:
Dancers are required to have appropriate attire for their classes. Proper dance attire provides an optimal training environment, preparing the dancer both physically and mentally for class. Proper attire includes specified shoe type, clothing and hair secured back/out of dancer's face. Class specific requirements listed per genre. Dancers not adhering to dress code may be removed from the class. We enforce dress code to provide an optimal training environment for all dancers.
Photographic Release:
I understand that EDP may take pictures, video or other content recordings during EDP classes, events, workshops, interactions etc. I convey full rights and interest to EDP for full rights and interest in those photos, videos and content. I understand that such content may be used for advertising, social media or other published physical or virtual material.
PARTICIPATION Release and Waiver:
I choose for me and/or my child to participate in classes, performances, workshops, and other activities at Evolve Dance Plex, LLC of my own free will. I certify that all participants are in proper physical condition to take part in such activities.
If I have questions about whether an activity is suitable to pursue, I will consult my health care provider in making that decision. If I have any known physical vulnerabilities, conditions, or injuries, I agree to disclose them with the studio management before participating.
Release
By signing this document, I release Evolve Dance Plex, LLC, Four Properties, CP Management and their directors, owners, students, teachers, staff, employees, volunteers, associates (collectively referred to in this document as “EDP”) from any liability or claim that I or my representatives may have against EDP with respect to any bodily or personal injury, illness, death, property damage or loss that may result from my participation at EDP.
I release and hold harmless EDP from any and all claims or demands for damages, loss of services, costs and expenses, injuries, attorney fees, and any other call for reparation from any concerns or injury to me or my property arising from my participation in dance classes, camps, intensives, workshops, performances, travel, the use of EDP equipment or facilities, and any activities associated with EDP.
Risks:
I understand that there are risks of physical injury associated with, dancing, acrobatics and gymnastics. These risks include the potential for slips and falls, sprains, strains, dislocations, soft tissue injuries, musculoskeletal injuries, podiatric conditions, and other risks not specified here. Understanding these risks and the potential for others not listed, I agree to personally accept the risks present in my participation.
Dance education sometimes requires hands-on instruction as well as verbal instruction. Instructors may correct dancers by touching their arms, legs, feet, hips, back and head to move them in the correct position. I acknowledge that this is a common standard in dance instruction and understand that it is my responsibility to communicate clearly with my teacher and studio management if any form of touch is unacceptable to me.
Medical Treatment and Insurance:
I understand that EDP does not assume any responsibility for or obligation to provide financial or other assistance in the event of injury or illness, including but not limited to medical, health, disability insurance or support.
I authorize EDP to obtain necessary medical or dental treatment, including first aid, ambulance transport, hospitalization, or such other care necessary for my health and welfare in an emergency. If my insurance does not cover emergency treatment that is deemed necessary and sought for me by EDP, I agree to be responsible for and pay all costs incurred on my behalf.
I release and discharge EDP from any claim which may arise on account of any first aid, treatment, or service rendered in connection with my participation in EDP activities or with the decision by any representative or agent of EDP to consent to medical or dental treatment on my behalf in an emergency.
I understand that EDP does not carry or maintain health, medical, dental, or disability insurance coverage for any participant. I agree to take responsibility for full payment of any emergency medical or dental costs related to my EDP participation regardless of whether I have insurance coverage.
Miscellaneous:
While a participant at EDP, I agree to abide by any rules, codes, and policies that are put in place by EDP before or at any time during my participation. If I have questions or concerns regarding any policies or decisions made by any representative of EDP, I agree to bring them promptly and specifically to the Director’s attention.
I understand that EDP Management has the legal right to terminate this agreement at anytime if a dancer or family has violated EDPs rules and regulations with disregard to EDP communication or requests to correct the situation or concern(s).
