StyleFX Code of Conduct
All Style FX classes, activities, & events are approached with professionalism and integrity. We are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment that nurtures artistry while instilling life skills and values in our students.

To ensure a positive experience for everyone involved, all Students, Parents (including Carers or Legal Guardians), Extended Friends and Family Members, Staff, and Volunteers are expected to follow the guidelines below.
STUDENT ETIQUETTE & DRESS CODE
1. Treat teachers, staff, parents, guests, and fellow students with respect and kindness at all times.
2. Arrive 5–10 minutes early to warm up and prepare. Consistent punctuality reflects commitment.
3. Wear clean, comfortable, knee-covering dance wear with non-marking sneakers designated for indoor use only. Athletic wear or loose fitted clothing is recommended.
4. Bring a water bottle to every class. Bottled water will be available for purchase.
5. Attend classes regularly and notify staff of absences in advance when possible.
6. Crew members must honor their commitment by prioritizing classes, rehearsals, and performances over personal/social events.
7. Set a positive example for younger dancers by using appropriate language, demonstrating discipline, and showing a positive attitude.
8. Mobile phones must be on silent mode or off during class unless approved by an instructor for dance-related purposes.
9. No food, gum, or snacks in the designated dance space. Please clean up after yourself!
10. Show respect for the studio space and equipment by keeping it clean and using it appropriately.
11. Be open to feedback, celebrate progress over perfection, and support your peers.
PARENT/GUARDIAN ETIQUETTE
1. Maintain a respectful and supportive attitude toward teachers, staff, and fellow families.
2. Stay informed by reading all email updates, newsletters, and communications.
3. Supervise young children in the waiting area and help keep the space clean and calm.
4. Refrain from entering the classroom or interrupting instruction unless specifically invited.
5. Promote a positive mindset in your child by encouraging effort, growth, and teamwork over competition.
6. Do not take photos or videos without explicit permission from staff or studio management.
7. All communications with instructors must be made through official studio channels (office, phone, email, or social media).
8. If you have a concern, schedule a private meeting with the appropriate staff member through the office. Do not address issues in front of students or during class.
9. Please ensure on-time payment of tuition and registration fees. Late payments may incur additional fees.
10. Pick up students promptly from the waiting area or ensure they are accompanied by staff, another authorized adult, or parent.
STAFF & VOLUNTEER CONDUCT
All staff and volunteers are held to the highest professional and ethical standards. In addition to the existing policies, they must:
1. Maintain professional boundaries at all times with all students.
2. Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive learning space for every dancer.
3. Avoid favoritism or forming exclusive relationships with students.
4. Keep discussions age-appropriate and avoid mature or personal topics.
5. Speak using positive, respectful, and inclusive language.
6. Model respect for all cultural backgrounds, gender identities, and physical abilities.
7. Report any concerns or safety issues to studio leadership immediately.
8. Refrain from communicating with students via personal social media or messaging apps outside of official studio accounts.
9. Dress and behave professionally, setting the tone for student behavior.
DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS
StyleFX Studios reserves the right to enforce this Code of Conduct to protect the integrity of our learning environment.
Inappropriate, disrespectful, disruptive, or aggressive behavior by students, parents, guardians, extended family, staff, or volunteers will not be tolerated and may result in one or more of the following:
- Written warning
- Suspension or dismissal from class or performance opportunities
- Immediate termination of employment or enrollment with no refund or further discussion
The studio has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, or behavior that compromises the safety or dignity of others.
