*Attendance & Tardiness: If you are unable to make your dance class or know you are running late, please contact the main office, not the teacher, to let us know and the teachers will then know that your dancer will not be here and won’t hold the start time of the class. No student will be allowed in class if they are more than 10 minutes late. Attendance is the most important part for progression in the dancer. Student make-up classes will be assigned by the office. Please be prompt for class. By showing up late, dancers will miss vital warm-up time which helps prevent injury. If the Dancer/s are going to be more than 10 minutes late for class, please wait for the teacher to allow dancer/s into the class and should be warmed up by that time. Please call if you are not going to be attending class or are running late for any reason. Any and all injuries or illnesses must be told to EDA staff and provide a doctor's note for the specific illness/injury both for prolonged absence and clearance to return to all activities.
*Recital & Costumes: Recital costumes now include required tights. Recital costume payments are as follows: 50% deposit of all costumes is due October 15, 2024, with the remaining 50% due November 30, 2024. Cash or check only as a form of payment. A $35 late fee will be assessed to any costume invoice not paid by the November 30 due date and every month until the invoice is paid in full. In order to receive your costumes AND perform in the year end recital ALL tuition including June’s tuition and costume payments MUST be paid in full. If you withdraw your student from the studio after costumes have been ordered, you are still obligated to pay in full for the costumes ordered or costumes will become property of Erica’s Dance Academy until payment is received. If the dancer is withdrawn before the recital and costumes are paid in full and not picked up within 90 of notice of arrival, they become property of Erica’s Dance Academy. The year-end recital will be held in May or June, with the date to be determined. If you are unable to attend, please let us know. Your child will still be able to participate in class and learn the routines but will be placed accordingly for formations.
Recital Bundle Fee: Each dancer performing in the recital is required to purchase the Recital Bundle in order to perform in the recital. This bundle includes a recital t-shirt, digital download of the entire show, digital color copy of recital program, souvenir gift and other items. Cost of the bundle $90 per dancer. This fee will appear on your costume invoice in October.
*Withdrawing from Class: If withdrawing from a class or classes, the withdrawal form must be filled out with the office. If tuition has not been paid prior to withdrawal, you are still responsible for that months’ tuition and all outstanding invoices and late fees.
