Email is DancEast’s primary method for communicating class cancellations, closures, schedule changes, performance information, and other important updates. I agree to provide and monitor a current email address. If I unsubscribe from DancEast emails, I understand that I am responsible for obtaining this information by other means.

I understand that DancEast may share photos and videos taken during classes, rehearsals, performances, and other activities through its website, social media, email, and other DancEast-managed platforms. These materials are used to celebrate our dancers and share the DancEast community. DancEast does not sell student images or use them in paid external advertising without specific individual permission.

If I do not want identifiable photos or videos of myself or my child shared publicly, I understand that I must complete the Public Photos Opt-Out Waiver available through my DancEast account portal after registration. This opt-out applies to public sharing only. Videos of youth performances may still be shared privately with participating students and families through direct links.

I agree not to publicly share identifiable photos or videos of other children taken at DancEast without permission from their parents or guardians.

I also agree that I, the student, and any accompanying family members or guests will follow DancEast’s current studio policies, including procedures related to arrival and dismissal, conduct, food and water, restroom use, phones, and shared-building courtesy. These policies will be provided with my registration confirmation and may be reasonably updated as studio operations require.

These terms apply when I register my child for an August–May class, Summer Session, or Dance Day Camp. If I am registering only myself as an adult student, I understand that the terms and payment information presented for my specific class or program apply instead.

August–May enrollment: Enrollment is a commitment for the full season. A nonrefundable $60 registration fee per student is charged upon enrollment. Tuition is divided into installments; each payment is part of the full-season tuition and does not purchase a particular month of classes. The first payment is charged August 1—or upon enrollment if later—and remaining payments are charged monthly September through May.

August–May classes are scheduled to meet 32 times, while tuition is based on 30 classes. Therefore, up to two classes may be canceled because of weather or circumstances beyond DancEast’s control without a make-up class, credit, or refund. If more than two cancellations occur, DancEast will provide a make-up class, account credit, or prorated refund for the additional canceled class or classes.

An $80 performance fee will be charged February 15, with an additional $40 charged if the student is enrolled in more than one class. Performance fees do not include audience tickets.

To withdraw, I must submit DancEast’s Withdrawal Request Form by the 15th of the month for withdrawal to take effect on the first day of the following month. No withdrawal requests are accepted after February 15. Refunds or forgiveness of tuition following a withdrawal are granted only at DancEast’s discretion.

Summer programs: Summer Session and Dance Day Camp tuition is charged in full and is nonrefundable unless otherwise stated during registration.

If DancEast cancels a Summer Session class or Dance Day Camp day, a make-up will be offered when reasonably possible. If a make-up cannot be scheduled, DancEast will provide an account credit or refund.

Declined payments not resolved within five days are subject to a $25 late fee.

By checking this box, I confirm that I have reviewed these terms. If I am registering my child, I accept these financial obligations and authorize DancEast to charge the payment method on file according to the applicable payment schedule. If I am registering only myself as an adult student, I acknowledge that the terms and payment information presented for my specific class or program apply instead.

I am participating as an adult student or giving permission for my child to participate in classes, rehearsals, performances, camps, events, and other activities offered or hosted by DancEast Collective.

I understand that dance and physical activity involve inherent risks, including falls, collisions, illness, and other injuries. I voluntarily choose to participate or permit my child to participate, accept these risks, and confirm that I or my child is physically able to participate safely.

I agree that the student will follow instructor directions and DancEast’s health, safety, conduct, and facility procedures. DancEast may limit or end a student’s participation when necessary for the safety, well-being, or appropriate functioning of a class or program. If DancEast dismisses a student for behavioral or developmental-readiness reasons, prepaid tuition for future unattended classes will be refunded.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless DancEast Collective and its directors, employees, instructors, and agents from claims arising from my or my child’s participation in or presence at DancEast activities, including claims resulting from ordinary negligence. This release does not apply to gross negligence or willful misconduct. If registering a child, I accept these terms on behalf of myself and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, my child.

I accept responsibility for personal property brought to DancEast. In an emergency, I authorize DancEast representatives to seek appropriate medical assistance for me if I am unable to provide consent, or for my child if I cannot be reached. I understand that I am responsible for any resulting medical expenses.
