As with all physical activities dancers can become injured. If your dancer becomes injured please notify Miss Cindy right away. If your dancer is hurt and can’t dance, or is sick and will be missing class, please send email to cindystudioone@aol.com. Dance is just like any other sport/activity you must be in class to learn the dances. If they are missing class several times a month it’s hard on the child missing to get caught up, as well as hard for the dancers that are in class. Please make dance a priority as often as possible. Also, if your dancer is in other activities and those activities sometimes conflict that’s okay, just please let us know via email. If the activity has a calendar and you can send that as well this would be helpful.

I am affirming I understand that there are inherent risks in dance and gymnastic activities. I understand that I am responsible for all medical expenses incurred by my child.Therefore, I do not hold Cindy Brown-Lemmon and assistants or Studio One liable. I understand that any injury my child incurs must be reported to Miss Cindy right away before leaving the studio.

Fall classes will start the week of August 19, 2024 and run through June 2025.
There is a $25.00 registration fee per family yearly.
Classes are one-hour per week and the cost is $50.00 a month for non competition classes.
Competition team member’s class fees are $85.00 a month for technique and choreography.
Your second & third classes per month will be pro-rated.
Private & Semi Private lessons are available to students ONLY as a second class.
Students must first be enrolled in a regular studio class in order to participate in a private/semi private lesson, competition, or production numbers throughout the year.
Private lessons are $12.00 per half hour, and semi-privates are $7.00 each.
In the event your partner must cancel you will be responsible for the price of a private, or you may cancel. ALL cancellations must be by 8:00 pm the night before this includes lessons from Miss Cindy or any of her staff.
Payment is DUE on the first scheduled lesson of every month in order to avoid a 15% late fee.
Everyone will receive an invoice via e-mail each month with class fees and any other charges that may be incurred. Please make class payments to Studio One. We encourage everyone to use the the new online payment system but we will still have envelopes available for all payments, please fill out all information on envelope and place in payment box. I understand that all choreography is the creative property of Miss Cindy Brown Lemmon & Studio One Dance by Cindy that I do not own the choreography and that I will not disclosed any choreography or music to anyone outside of Studio One Dance by Cindy.

Use of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, blogging, and other online social-media vehicles is commonplace. This policy is intended to provide Studio One Dance by Cindy students and parents with guidelines to eliminate any confusion concerning the use of social media.
• You DO NOT have permission to reveal any information that compromises Studio One Dance by Cindy. By that we mean you are forbidden to share personal information about the director, other students or their families, or anything that is proprietary and/or confidential to them or Studio One Dance by Cindy.
• Students and parents should neither claim nor imply that they are speaking on behalf of Studio One Dance by Cindy. If there is ever a doubt/problem or question that needs to be answered those need to be directed to Miss Cindy via a note in the black payment box or an email then she will contact the necessary parties. Social Media is not the place to handle issues concerning studio business or persons at the studio.
• Students and parents should never make derogatory comments about any student, instructor or other parent from Studio One Dance by Cindy .
• Never post anything that could compromise the self-esteem of students who attend Studio One Dance by Cindy.
• We prefer that you not post any of the choreography from the dances your child’s class is learning. The dances are presented at the recital and that’s when they look their best. If you want to send videos of class or rehearsals to family members that cannot be at the recital please do so in an e-mail or a private message on Facebook. Studio One Dance by Cindy owns the copyright to all choreography taught at the school.
• Competition team members and parents are NOT allowed to post or e-mail any of the competition dances ever not even of the rehearsals to anyone that is not part of the team. All competitions we attend have a strict policy on flash photography as well as video recordings and if a parent, student or anyone associated with the team are caught recording, even our studio dances, or taking photos the entire studio can be disqualified.
• Respect the law, including those laws governing defamation, discrimination, harassment, and copyright and fair use. As stated in this policy, parents and students should never post negative comments about our studio or any other schools or teachers. Also, please do not post negative comments about any activities such as competitions, conventions, and performances or about the directors of those events.
• Ensure that your social networking conduct is consistent with all of the policies contained in this policy.
• Disregard for any of this policy could result in suspension from the studio.
• We do encourage recording the dance if you are doing so to help your child at home.
