Registration Waiver & Policies

By enrolling in classes at Downtown Dance Company, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms and policies.

Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. A late fee will be applied to any account unpaid after 30 days. Consistent on-time payments are necessary to ensure student participation in class and events. Attendance is important for progress and performance preparation. Excessive absences may result in changes to choreography or participation limitations at the instructor’s discretion.

Communication from the studio will be sent via email and/or through the parent portal. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to regularly check and stay informed. Class placement is determined by the instructor and studio director based on age, experience, and ability, and may be adjusted to ensure the best learning environment for each dancer.

I understand that dance is a physical activity that may involve some risk of injury. I agree to assume all risks and release Downtown Dance Company, its owners, instructors, and staff from any liability related to injury, accident, or illness that may occur on the premises or during any studio-related event.

I give permission for my child to be photographed or recorded during classes, performances, or events, and for those images or videos to be used for studio marketing, advertising, or social media. If I wish to opt out of the media release, I will notify the studio in writing.

By completing registration, I confirm that I have read and understand these policies. I agree to follow all studio rules and acknowledge that failure to do so may result in dismissal from the program.
