Welcome to Inspire Dance Studio! We, the instructors, look forward to an exciting new season at our studio. Our goal is to provide quality instruction coupled with building physical and mental abilities. In order to do this, we need your cooperation and assistance. Hopefully the information provided will better explain our expectations for the new season! REGISTRATION & BILLING: A registration fee of $30.00 per student (not per class or per family) is due at the time of registration and is NON-REFUNDABLE. All class payments are due at the FIRST DAY OF THE MONTH. If the billing falls on the weekend, the payment will be due the following Monday. Monthly statements are not issued. A $5.00 late fee will be applied to any account 5 days past due. Any bill that is over 60 days past due will result in dismissal of the student until the account is in good standing. A $30.00 service fee will be applied to any returned checks. Parents/Guardians will be responsible for any fees involved in the collection of past due accounts including but not limited to any reasonable attorney fees. Cancellation of student enrollment must be in writing otherwise all fees are due and subject to collection including but not limited to any reasonable attorney fees. Costume Payments: Costume payments are due in full by November 1st. All costume fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and will not be ordered without full payment.
CANCELLATIONS: Student unenrollment must be submitted in writing. Verbal cancellations are NOT accepted. All fees for the season remain due until written cancellation is received, and unpaid fees are subject to collection, including reasonable attorney fees. Cancellation becomes effective on the date of the written communication and received by the owner. If a student decides to withdraw in the middle of a month, the full tuition for that entire month/installment remains due. Tuition will not be prorated.
MAKEUP CLASSES & HOLIDAYS: Classes are made up only if the studio is closed due to inclement weather or other unscheduled events. If the studio is closed it will be sent out via parent portal or posted on our social media platforms. In case of illness, private lessons may be scheduled if deemed necessary by the instructor at a cost of $25.00 per one-half hour. There will be no reduction in monthly tuition due to illness or other absences including holidays, but there is no extra charge for months with five weeks. The studio will be closed for the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break, and Memorial Day,
SAFETY: Please bring your student no earlier than 5 minutes before class and pick them up immediately following class. Children ages 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult or parent/guardian when entering or exiting the building. REMIND YOUR CHILD TO WAIT FOR YOU INSIDE. For the health and safety of the dancers, staff, and parents, do not send your child to dance if they are experiencing any symptoms of illness.
PERSONAL CONSULTATION: Consultations with the studio staff concerning your child will be available by appointment ONLY, not during class time. This time is set aside to instruct your child and the other dancers in the class. If a dancer's behavior has to be addressed, the parent will be notified. After the third time, the dancer may be dismissed from the studio. Pre-school students must be potty trained to be enrolled.
CLASS OBSERVATION: Parents are NOT ALLOWED in the dance room before, or during class, with the exception of classes requiring caregiver participation or invitation by their instructor. Class observations may be observed by parents only, during the last 15 minutes of the first class in September, the third week in December and the last week in April to observe your child's progress, PLEASE NO EXCEPTIONS. Prospective students may observe one class with the instructor's permission.
DRESS CODE: Dress code is set per class. Appropriate attire includes leotards, leggings, and tights or spandex shorts with top; sweats or warmups during winter months. No blue jeans, inappropriate text or images on clothing, dangly jewelry, or sharp rings are allowed. Correct corresponding shoes should be purchased and worn by October. Chewing gum is not allowed.
MEDIA (Photo/Video/Etc.): Please be advised that you/your child may be photographed or videotaped at various studio events. This might include feature photos and/or videos of the student {never using last names} on the studio website, social media, and/or promotional items.
CAUSES FOR DISMISSAL: By enrolling at Inspire Dance Studio LLC, the parent and student agree not to post anything negative or derogatory on any social media network about the studio, staff, or other dancers. Negative publications will result in dismissal.
RELEASE: I am aware and understand that the Activity is a potentially dangerous activity and involves the risk of personal or psychological injury or pain. I acknowledge that these risks may result from or be compounded by the actions, omissions, or negligence of Inspire Dance Studio LLC employees or others, including negligent emergency response or rescue operations of the Company. I understand that while Inspire Dance Studio LLC has implemented measures to reduce the risk of injury from the Activity, the Company cannot guarantee that I will not be injured while on the Premises or during my participation in the Activity. NOTWITHSTANDING THESE RISKS, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I AM VOLUNTARILY ACCESSING THE PREMISES AND PARTICIPATING IN THE ACTIVITY WITH KNOWLEDGE OF THE DANGERS INVOLVED. I HEREBY AGREE TO ACCEPT AND ASSUME ALL RISKS OF ILLNESS, PERSONAL OR PSYCHOLOGICAL INJURY, PAIN, SUFFERING, TEMPORARY OR PERMANENT DISABILITY, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, AND/OR FINANCIAL LOSS ARISING THEREFROM, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF THE COMPANY OR OTHERWISE.
