By registering I understand and agree to:
1. I recognize the dance and fitness classes of the type I intend to participate in at PPSDance require physical exertion which may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.
2. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult a physician prior to and regarding my participation in any classes I attend at PPSDance. I represent that I am physically fit and have no medical condition that would prevent my full participation in any such fitness or dance class.
3. I agree to take full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages known or unknown which I incur, or may incur, as a result of participation in any class or activity at PPSDance including risks posed by epidemics.
4. I knowingly and voluntarily waive any and all claims I have, or may at any time in the future have, against PPSDance or any of the directors, shareholders, instructors, contractors, agents, or employees, for any injury or damage that I sustain as a result of my participation in a class or activities of the School wherever and/or however they may they occur including risks posed by epidemics.
AND FURTHER, all persons assume all risks incident to all activities related in any manner to the School. The said Student and Parent/Guardian agree and promise to hold harmless and indemnify the School, VL Holding Inc., Leilani Kine, Vanessa Tonks, and all other employees, instructors, contractors, their families and heirs with respect to any claim of liability, now or in the future or for any loss of possessions, theft of property or injury or loss of life however caused which may be sustained by the Student, Student's family, guests or others, in or about the School or activities of the School wherever/however they occur.
General
- A few minutes between classes are taken for students to move from one class to another.
- A minimum number of weekly classes and regular attendance are required to participate in some School activities.
- Competition Classes: Mandatory enrollment and regular attendance in Technique and Ballet classes, here at the School is required for solos, duos and competition classes. Absences in Technique and Ballet class must be made up.
- If most of the Students in a class are at an event during class time, such as a Competition, then the class will be canceled.
- The School reserves the right to realign classes or cancel classes at any time due to insufficient enrollment.
- The School reserves the right to refuse service for all legal reasons including but not limited to “rowdy or disruptive behaviourâ€.
- Students may be moved to another class if it is in the best interest for the dancer.
Fees
I understand and agree that payment arrangements are required to be made at time of registration.
Spring & Summer Terms
I agree to pay all fees for the Spring and/or Summer season using a credit card unless alternate arrangements have been made with PPSDance.
7 days written notice is required to terminate this Agreement without penalty for Spring and/or Summer programs.
Refunds within the 7 days prior to Spring and/or Summer programs will be offered at 50%.
There will be NO refunds for cancellation once Spring and/or Summer programs have started unless:
A written medical note from student's doctor is provided
Refunds will be offered if classes are canceled due to insufficient enrollment.
All Student account fees must be paid prior to the Spring and/or Summer start date for the student to participate
I agree to pay the 2.2% convenience charge online.
I further agree to pay a $20.00 service fee for all NSF and declined credit card payments submitted on my account.
September-June Season Terms
I agree to pay all fees (tuition, costumes, conventions, competitions etc) for the September 2024 -June 2025 season using a credit card unless alternate arrangements have been made with PPSDance.
Tuition Fees are set based on the total number of classes in the full Term.
I agree to pay the 2.2% convenience charge online.
No costume refunds will be made after costume material for the class has been purchased, or ordered costumes have been altered..
30 days written notice is required to terminate this Agreement without penalty before February 2026.
There will be NO refunds after March 1st unless:
A written medical note from student's doctor is provided
Notice of family relocation is provided
No refunds will be provided for classes canceled due to closures due to inclement weather.
Student accounts must be in good standing in order to participate in the Year End Performance.
All Fees for competition & convention must be paid in order to participate.
Costume Fees must be paid in full prior to delivery.
I further agree to pay a $20.00 service fee for all NSF and declined credit card payments submitted on my account.
THE PARTIES HERETO AGREE that the full terms and conditions of this Agreement.
