Tuition for ages 1-6 are set as session rates, paid in full at time of registration along with an annual registration fee and are non-refundable. Tuition for ages 7 + are set as installments. There are 10 instalments charged for for a full season. The first and 10th instalment will be charged upfront along with the registration fee. These fees are non-refundable. The remaining instalments will be charged on the first of each month following date of registration. Tuition will not be reimbursed for missed classes. Withdrawals will only be accepted through our Transfer/Withdrawal Form at which time further charges will cease. Any charges made before providing the completed withdrawal form will not be refunded or cancelled. Tuition is pro-rated for a late start. Tuition instalments are calculated as a portion of an annual tuition rate of which is based on 33 weeks of class for a full season.
Registrations will be processed by credit card via 'Auto-Pay' - a safe and secure credit card transaction that is automated. This comes with a surcharge. This surcharge may be avoided if fees are paid via e-transfer or cash before the due date of the fees. PRE-DANCE LEVEL CLASSES: (Ages 2-6) These classes are offered in nine to eleven week sessions and the tuition for each session is due up front in order to complete the registration and for the dancer's spot to be reserved. FEES FOR THESE CLASSES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. JUNIOR, ELEMENTARY, TEEN, INTERMEDIATE AND SENIOR LEVEL CLASSES: (ages 7 - 17) Annual tuition is based on 33 weeks of classes. The payment for tuition, based on one of our two payment options, is due with completed registration in order to secure your dancer's spot in the desired class or classes. FEES FOR THESE CLASSES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE CHARGED. TUITION FEES INCLUDE RECITAL COSTUMES AND ONLINE RECITAL VIDEO. TUITION PAYMENT OPTIONS: FOR FULL SEASON CLASSES: 1. Tuition paid in full on date of registration. 2. Tuition paid in ten instalments each calculated as one tenth of the yearly tuition. First instalment AND last instalment are due on the date of registration and the remaining eight instalments are due on the first of October through to the 1st of May. THESE INSTALMENTS ARE SIMPLY THE ANNUAL VALUE BROKEN INTO SMALLER EQUAL INSTALMENTS AND IS NOT CONSIDERED A MONTHLY FEE FOR CLASSES THAT OCCUR IN EACH PARTICULAR MONTH. We do not offer a monthly fee, we only offer the opportunity to pay the annual fee in smaller increment as a courtesy. ALL TUITION FEES FOR THESE LEVELS INCLUDE RECITAL COSTUMES AND AN ONLINE RECITAL VIDEO. REFUNDS/WITHDRAWALS FOR FULL SEASON CLASSES: All withdrawals will be taken as of the date the office receives the 'Transfer/Withdrawal Form' that may be found on the Parent Portal homepage. Refunds are based on the policy explained in the tuition section above. If you ARE eligible for a 'stop payment' it will be based upon the date we receive a withdrawal notification, NO FURTHER TUITION CHARGES WILL OCCUR. If a Withdrawal form has been received after tuition fees have been charged, Guardian/Parent will be responsible for the charges. - PLEASE NOTE: Guardian/Parent is responsible for FULL annual tuition regardless of withdrawal as of MARCH 1ST and remaining tuition due will be charged upon withdrawal in completion. COMPETITIVE DANCE TUITION FOR ALL AGES: NO tuition refunds once a charge has been applied before notice of withdrawal BUT with the following exception: No tuition refunds will be given after January 1st. (Parent/Guardian is responsible for the full annual tuition based on registered classes as of January 1st) REGISTRATION FEE: A Registration Fee of $90.00 will be charged to families upon registration. This fee will be charged to families registering after June 30th. VIP Members will pay $45.20 for the Registration Fee. This fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. Recital Costume Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. ADULT CLASSES: All fees are due up front in order to complete the registration and for the participant's spot to be reserved. FEES FOR THESE CLASSES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. There is NO registration fee payment required for adult classes.
All sessions or classes are paid for upfront. (before classes are provided) Pro-rated fees are calculated based on start date and remaining classes in the session. No refunds are provided for missed classes or withdrawals that occur after tuition fees have been processed.
All dancers in Junior, Elementary, Teen, Intermediate & Senior levels are expected to perform in the annual recital as part of their education in dance. *All recital costume fees are included in the tuition fee. Recital costumes will not be distributed until all fees are paid. No costumes will be distributed if dancer withdraws before March 1st for open classes. If a dancer withdraws anytime before full annual fee (all 10 instalments) is paid, the recital costume will not be provided at any time. There are no rebates for unused recital costumes. Recital costumes for Pre-Dance & Primary ONLY: If you did not purchase a bundle offer where your costume is included in the fee, but you agree to participate in the recital and agree to have us order a costume for your child, your agreement includes the responsibility for the costume charge. Even if the dancer does not actually participate in the recital, once the costume is ordered, the costume must be paid for. In this instance, the costume will be provided regardless. For Company/Competitive Families ONLY: Competitive Costume Deposits are included in the 'Company Fee' due in part on July 1st & August 1st and are refundable up to November 1st. The 'Company Fee' is non-refundable unless a choreography class is cancelled by the studio.
2% - Outstanding balances that remain outstanding 15 days past the transaction due date will be subject to a 2% late fee accrued monthly until full payment is made. 5% - 30 days + late will result in a 5% late fee accrued monthly until payment is made. Dancers will be suspended from attending dance classes if a balance is outstanding past 90 days until the account is brought into good standing. There will be no refunds for the suspended period.
A $40.00 NSF Fee/Administrative Fee will be added to any cheque that is returned due to Non-sufficient funds. Please note, we no longer accept post-dated cheques for payment. A $10 Fee/Administrative Fee will be added to any credit card payment that is declined for any reason. It is the responsibility of the payer to ensure that all credit cards on file are up to date and eligible to accept charges.
I hereby authorize the staff of Annex Dance Academy Inc. and it's associates to act on my behalf according to their best judgement in any emergency requiring medical attention and I hereby waive and release Annex Dance Academy Inc. and it's associates from any and all liability for any injuries or illness incurred while attending classes at the studio, on the studio premises or during out of studio performances and competitions. In addition, permission is granted for my child to be photographed/video recorded on Annex Dance Academy Inc. premises and to be photographed/video-recorded as part of, but not limited to, the year end recital. Permission is also granted that any of these photographs or videos may be used as marketing material to promote the Annex Dance Academy Inc.'s business.
All dancers are expected to comply to the dress code requirements. These may be found on the Parent Portal homepage for your review at any time. When a dancer is unable to have the proper attire, the dancer is reminded for the next class. If the dancer is unable to comply the 2nd time, the dancer will be asked to call home to be picked up or for the proper attire to be delivered.
All patrons, participants, visitors or anyone attending an event or class on the premises of Annex Dance Academy Inc. or in any place where it can be assumed the Annex Dance Academy Inc. is being represented in full or in part, will be expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and kind manner. Profanity, bullying, threatening or abusive language, threatening or abusive actions, or any conduct resulting in another patron or employee of Annex Dance Academy feeling compromised or unsafe will NOT be tolerated at any time.
In the event of a pandemic or situation that causes the studio to close for in-person classes, we maintain the right to continue serving our customers/dancers with online classes. There will be no additional fees for this service outside of the fees already agreed to upon enrollment. The agreed upon fees will continue to be charged as long as classes are being offered online or in person. Re-opening strategies will be implemented when it is deemed appropriate to re-open after an event that causes us to stop in-person classes using safety guidelines and protocols.
