Waiver 2026-2027
General Liability
I have read all of Innovative Rhythm Dance Studios Inc (IR Dance) policies and will take the responsibility to carefully read and follow the rules and policies therein. I understand that, due to the physical nature of dance, IR Dance as a whole (including but not inclusive of Directors, Employees, Contractors, Volunteers) will not be held responsible for any injuries that may occur inside or outside the premises as well as any errors, omissions, acts or failures to act. I understand that images of me or my child may be used by IR Dance on their website, social media pages, in brochures or in other promotional material. No identifying information about students will be included.
Health and Safety
I certify that there are no health related reasons or problems which preclude me or my child(ren)’s participation in dance classes and community events. I understand that IR Dance will apply best practices when it comes to health and safety. I will not hold IR Dance responsible for any illness that may be present. I assume the risk of the possibility of illness when coming into the building and when attending affiliated events outside of the studio space.
I understand that students and family members who enter the studio will be in contact with children, families and employees who are a risk of community exposure. I understand that I play a crucial role in keeping everyone in the facility safe and reducing the risk of exposure to illness by following the practices outlined by IR Dance.
Refunds
I understand that IR Dance does not give credit and/or refunds for class(es) missed due to holiday, vacation, illness, weather, etc.
On occasion, classes may be cancelled due to poor weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control (e.g. extended power outage or internet outage for virtual classes). We are unable to offer refunds or make up classes for the ones cancelled due to circumstances we can not control.
Lost Property
I understand that IR Dance is not responsible for lost personal property.
Parent and Student Codes of Conduct
The IR Dance Student Code of Conduct and the IR Dance Parent Code of Conduct outline our expectations for studio etiquette (as well as Cellphones and Technology, Respect for Others and Bullying, Discrimination and Exclusion). The goal of the IR Dance Codes of Conduct are to help students, teachers and families create an environment that is supportive, encouraging and promotes growth and learning. Teachers will go over the Student Code of Conduct during the first week of youth classes. If dancers choose to not follow the Student Code of Conduct, they may be asked to leave the studio. Any violation of the Parent Code of Conduct will result in the studio invoking our right to refusal policy and you may be asked to leave the studio. By signing this waiver, I agree to follow the Parent Code of Conduct and to support my child in following the Student Code of Conduct.
Social Media
When using Social Media we ask you to adhere to our confidentiality policies at all times. (No identifying information of others should be given). No choreography, class content or instruction of any form should be posted in social media or online without the prior approval of the instructor and management of IR Dance.
I agree to the policies in the IR Dance policies section of the website as well as the above information. I have read and understood the IR Dance policies and I agree to be bound by the terms as outlined.
