I understand that it’s required that my child is to be covered by my insurance and if injury occurs, it is understood that my own policy is the only source of reimbursement. A separate in-studio Covid 19 waiver form will be required to fill out, sign and return. The separate Covid waiver form is on our website and must be signed and returned before the dancers first scheduled class.
Tuition is a set rate, based on an annual fee, divided into 10 monthly payments from September 2024 – June 2025. Vacation weeks and holidays are taken into calculation when establishing tuition prices. Tuition is not prorated if a month only has 2 weeks of classes or increased if the month has 5 weeks. Dress Rehearsal is considered a class in the month of June. June tuition is half price. Payment is due on the 1 st of each month with a grace period until the 15 th of the month. If tuition is paid after the 15 th of the month a $15.00 late fee will be added. Tuition is non-refundable and will not be prorated to accommodate for missed classes. Students may schedule up to 7 FREE make-up classes in advance for their first class and one make-up class for each class taken from September 2024 – February 2025 to offset any missed classes due to illness, snow days, holidays, competition dates, workshop dates and recital. I understand that it is my responsibility to schedule make-up classes. Late fees are applied to all negligent accounts, and I understand that it is my responsibility to have payments paid by the set due dates to avoid any extra late fees. I also give permission to charge my credit card on file if my account is 10 days past due. All students are required to have a credit card on file. I understand that Miss Tanya’s School of Dance is entitled to use videography and photography throughout the year: these photos and videos may be used for advertising, promotions and on our website, Facebook and Instagram.
*Class size is limited and is accepted on a first come first serve basis. You will be notified if the class that you registered for is full and we will try to find another class. Registration fee must be paid when for is submitted.

Miss Tanya’s School of Dance – Credit Card Policy & Auto-Pay

To ensure a smooth and secure billing process, Miss Tanya’s School of Dance requires all families to have a valid credit or debit card on file at the time of registration. Please review the following policy regarding the use of cards on file:

1. Card on File Requirement
A valid credit or debit card is required to be kept on file for all active accounts. This card will only be charged under the following circumstances:

- If your account becomes delinquent (unpaid past the due date)
- If you are enrolled in Auto-Pay and your tuition is due
- If other payment arrangements have not been made prior to a posted due date

2. Auto-Pay Enrollment
Families are automatically enrolled in Auto-Pay unless they choose to opt out. Auto-Pay will process tuition payments and applicable fees using the card on file.

4. Late Payments
Accounts not paid by the posted due date may be subject to late fees. If payment has not been received by that time, the card on file will be charged for the outstanding balance.

5. Card Security
All card information is stored securely using encrypted, PCI-compliant payment systems. Our staff does not have access to your full card details.

6. Update Info
To update your card information, you can do so by logging into your Parent Portal.

Studio Rules
Food is not permitted in the studios or waiting areas.
Students may bring water only, clearly labeled with their name.
Water coolers have been removed from the building.
Cell phones may be brought into class but must remain turned off during instruction. Miss Tanya's School of Dance is not responsible for lost or stolen devices.
Smoking is prohibited in or around the building.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Miss Tanya's School of Dance is not responsible for students before or after their scheduled class time.
Students may not enter the parking lot without an accompanying adult.
Please arrive promptly for pick-up.
A 10-minute grace period is allowed.
A $15 late pick-up fee will be charged after the first 10 minutes.
An additional $15 fee will be charged for every 5 minutes thereafter.
If you are running late, please call the studio at 978-343-7700.

Waiting Area Policy
For the benefit of our students and instructors, the waiting areas remain closed during classes.
This allows:
fewer distractions
fewer interruptions
improved classroom focus
more instructional time

Observation Week
An Observation Week will be scheduled during the season. Details will be announced at a later date.

Parking
Please park only in the designated Miss Tanya's School of Dance parking spaces (yellow-lined spaces).
Vehicles parked in Plaza parking spaces may be towed.

Attendance
Regular attendance is essential to student progress.
Students who miss 4 or more classes within a two-month period, or 6 or more classes during the dance season (September–June), may be asked to move to a lower-level class.
Injured students are encouraged to attend class and observe whenever possible.
Beginning in February, students may not miss more than four classes in order to participate in the annual recital.

Class Changes & Substitutions
The studio reserves the right to provide substitute instructors when necessary.
If a substitute cannot be arranged, classes may be rescheduled.
Should classes ever need to move to a virtual format, tuition will remain unchanged.

Tuition Policies
Tuition is based on an annual fee, divided into 10 equal monthly payments (September through June) for your convenience.
Because some months have more class weeks than others, tuition is not based on the number of classes in a specific month, but on the entire dance season.
June tuition includes Dress Rehearsal as a scheduled class.

Tuition Due Dates
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month.
A grace period is provided through the 15th.
June tuition is due on or before June 1.
A $15 late fee is applied after the 15th.
Family Discount:
Families with two or more children under age 18 receive 10% off tuition for each additional child (applied to the lower tuition amount).

Payment Methods

*Cash/check payments qualify for the studio's available cash discount.

Delinquent Accounts
If tuition remains unpaid:
After 10 days, the credit card on file may be charged.
Accounts 30 days past due may result in removal from classes.
All payments received will automatically be applied to the oldest outstanding balance on the account.
Returned checks are subject to a $25 fee.

Make-Up Classes
Students may schedule make-up classes for absences occurring September through February.
Students may receive:
Up to 7 free make-up classes for their primary class.
One free make-up per additional weekly class.
Additional guidelines:
Maximum of 3 make-up classes per month
Make-ups are the family's responsibility to schedule.
Students may not schedule make-ups for absences occurring between February and June, as recital choreography is in progress.
Holiday, February Vacation, and April Vacation weeks are not eligible for make-up classes.

Recital Information
A recital participation fee will be invoiced in January.
The recital fee includes:
Digital recital video
One student recital ticket
One recital medal
Recital Costumes
A costume deposit will be invoiced in November.
Deposits are non-refundable.
Late costume deposits are subject to a $15 late fee per costume.
Remaining costume balances will be invoiced in February and are due in April.

Additional policies:
Costume balances remain the responsibility of the parent even if the student chooses not to participate in the recital.
Costumes cannot be canceled once ordered.
Costume payments are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-returnable.

Recital Eligibility
Students must have all tuition and outstanding balances paid by the published deadline.
Students with unpaid balances may not participate in:

Withdrawals
- Withdrawal requests must be submitted BEFORE the first day of the month.
- A Withdrawal Form is required to be submitted
- No refunds or transfers will be given for tuition or registration fees.
- Tuition for the current month remains the responsibility of the family.

Communication
Miss Tanya's School of Dance is a paperless studio.
Families are responsible for checking:
- Parent Portal
- Email
- Monthly newsletters
- Facebook
- Studio website
- TV in Studio

Please ensure your email address is always current.

Weather Closings
Weather cancellations will be announced:
- Studio website
- Facebook
- Studio voicemail
- Text message (when applicable)
Announcements will be made approximately one hour before the first scheduled class.

Lost & Found
Lost and Found is located in the lobby.
Items are donated on a regular basis.

Media Release
Enrollment constitutes permission for Miss Tanya's School of Dance to use class photographs and videos for studio marketing, social media, and website purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.

Liability

Miss Tanya's School of Dance and its staff are not responsible for:
- injuries,
- lost property,
- stolen property, or
- damaged personal belongings.

Studio Conduct
Miss Tanya's School of Dance reserves the right to dismiss any student or parent who fails to follow studio policies or whose behavior is disruptive or inappropriate. No refunds will be issued upon dismissal.
