I/We have read in full all information given in the Barrick Dance Centre Enrolment Pack and agree to adhere to all rules and policies set out by Barrick Dance Centre.
Fees And Tuition Fees are to be set up at the time of enrolment with 2 options for payment: Direct debit or full payment. It is vitally important for the continued smooth running of the dance studio that tuition fees are paid on time and in full. Tuition fees cover the ongoing costs associated with running a studio, therefore it is expected that all fees are paid on time through our direct debit system. 1. Tuition fees for all students are due and payable in full via our direct debit system. Any dishonoured payments will incur administration fees and will be charged to your account accordingly. 2. Our studio software system will autogenerate the tuition invoices each month to your parent portal. 3. An invoice for each newly enrolled student will be provided on enrolment. 4. If at any time you need to discuss your fees, please come to the studio concierge to arrange a appointment. 5. Parents can view their monthly invoices via their parent portal. 6. ALL fees are non refundable 7. Once the end of year show RSVP has been signed, fees will continue to be debited for the full 12 months (Feb - Jan) Concert Costumes All tuition fees include payment of concert costumes. If your child is not enrolled in February, at the beginning of the Tuition Calendar Year, then a costume catch up fee will be charged to cover the cost of the costumes. I/We have read and agree to abide by the Fees and Tuition Policy set out by Barrick Dance Centre. I/We agree to being fully responsible for the payment of all Dance related fees incurred by my child/children.
Photography/Advertising Policy At no time are parents allowed to take photos of children other than their own, without the consent and permission of the parents and BDC Staff Members. Unauthorised use of photography or video is strictly prohibited and will result in the cancellation of enrolment without hesitation. BDC pride themselves on providing a safe and happy environment for our students and as such this is an important issue that will not be taken lightly. Social Media Policy This policy is to provide strict guidelines for our parents and students to adhere to when using social media. The word ‘Social Media’ will be a term used for a wide variety of user-driven technologies including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat etc. Our expectation is that parents and students alike will conduct themselves appropriately when using social media in a public forum. The posting and sharing of content with both members and non members of BDC and public websites must uphold the high standards and integrity of BDC at all times. Therefore ensuring the best possible experience for students to learn and enjoy the journey of dance. Personal social media pages and forums are exactly that – for personal use and at no time should discuss BDC business experiences or relationships. BDC business pages are to share positive experiences and information with parents and students and the wider community. By participating on these pages you agree to comply with our rules and expectations set by BDC. The use of inappropriate language, unfriendly and disrespectful content will not be tolerated at any time. Students and parents should never claim nor imply that they are speaking on behalf of BDC. Parents and students should refrain from posting anything that could compromise self-esteem of students or Staff Members. Further to this, parents and students should never post negative comments about other schools, teachers or events including competitions, conventions and performances. Please remember there is a law governing defamation, privacy, discrimination, harassment, copyright and fair use. Violation of this policy may result in individuals being removed and barred from BDC social media pages and enrolment terminated. I/We have read, understand and agree to abide by the Photography, Advertisement & Social Media policy set out by Barrick Dance Centre.
Uniform Policy All BDC students are required to wear the uniform set by Barrick Dance Centre. These requirements are clearly outlined on our website and can be purchased from both the studio and dancewear stores mentioned in the enrolment pack. It is a OHS requirement that all students have the correct footwear and have their hair correctly tied at all times. Students who continually arrive to class without the correct uniform requirements will not be able to participate in class. I/We have read and agree to abide by the Uniform Policy set out by Barrick Dance Centre.
