Drop-Off & Pick-Up Procedures
To ensure a safe and smooth transition for all dancers, please follow the guidelines below:
Drop-Off
Dancers should arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to their scheduled class.
A parent/guardian must wait until their dancer has entered the building before leaving.
Please make sure dancers are ready for class upon arrival (hair done, proper attire on, shoes packed, water bottle in hand).
Dancers in a class that requires Caretaker Participation must have an adult with them at all times
If a dancer is not yet potty-trained, a parent or guardian should remain in the building or in their car during class.
Pick-Up
Dancers should be picked up promptly at the end of their scheduled class.
Younger dancers will remain inside the building until a parent/guardian arrives.
For older dancers who may walk outside to meet their ride, please communicate your family’s pick-up plan with your dancer and our staff so we can ensure their safety.
We ask that parents do not park or idle directly in front of the entrance for extended periods, as this can block the flow of traffic for others.
Safety Reminder
Supervision is provided only during scheduled class times. The Dancers’ Choice CT LLC is not responsible for dancers prior to the 10 minutes before their class time and after their class time.
Class Attire Policy
Please review your dancer’s class attire located on our website. Proper attire ensures safety, freedom of movement, and allows instructors to give the best feedback.
Additional Reminders:
Please avoid street clothes or baggy attire, as these can restrict movement and prevent instructors from properly assessing body alignment.
Wear appropriate undergarments that provide both support and coverage.
For safety reasons, no watches, bracelets, necklaces, dangling earrings, or rings are permitted during class.
Don’t forget to bring plenty of water—hydration is essential!
Class Attire Policy Enforcement:
1st Warning: Verbal reminder to both dancer and parent.
2nd Warning: Written warning, and the dancer will be asked to sit out for the remainder of class.
3rd Warning and Beyond: The dancer will sit out of class. Continued non-compliance may result in removal from their class dance.
