In order to maintain the quality of our services and accommodate the scheduling needs of both our students and instructors, we have established the following Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation Notice:

If you need to cancel a scheduled private dance class, we kindly request that you provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice prior to the start time of the class. This allows us to adjust schedules accordingly and offer the time slot to other students if possible.

Cancellation Fees:

1. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled class: No cancellation fee will be charged. You are entitled to reschedule the class without any penalties.
2. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled class: A cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total class fee will be applied.

Rescheduling:

We understand that unexpected situations may arise. If you need to reschedule a private class, please contact us as soon as possible. Rescheduling requests are subject to availability. If you wish to avoid cancellation fees, please make sure to reschedule before the 24-hour cancellation window.

Emergency Situations:

We understand that emergencies can occur that might prevent you from providing 24 hours' notice. In such cases, please reach out to us as soon as possible to discuss the situation. We will handle these situations on a case-by-case basis and may waive the cancellation fee upon verification of the emergency.

Late Arrivals:

If you arrive late to a private class, the class will still end at the scheduled time. Unfortunately, we cannot extend the class time due to late arrival.

By booking a private class with Latin Groove Dance Academy, you agree to comply with this Private Class Cancellation Policy.

I, the undersigned participant, hereby acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this Waiver and Release of Liability ("Waiver") in consideration for being permitted to participate in physical activities, including but not limited to dance classes, workshops, rehearsals, and other related activities (collectively referred to as the "Activities") offered by Latin Groove Dance Academy ("Studio").

1. Assumption of Risk:
I understand and acknowledge that participating in physical activities at the Studio involves inherent risks and dangers, including but not limited to physical injury, strains, sprains, fractures, slips, falls, collisions with objects or persons, and even more serious injuries. I acknowledge that these risks are an integral part of engaging in physical activities, and I voluntarily assume all such risks.

2. Medical Fitness:
I hereby declare that I am physically fit to participate in the Activities and have no medical conditions that would prevent my safe participation. If I have any concerns about my physical condition, I will consult a medical professional before participating in any Activities at the Studio.

3. Release of Liability:
In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Activities, I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Latin Groove Dance Academy, its owners, instructors, employees, contractors, and representatives (collectively referred to as the "Releasees") from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, liabilities, and expenses, whether known or unknown, arising out of or in connection with my participation in the Activities, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, and any claims for negligence.

4. Indemnification:
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from and against any claims, demands, liabilities, costs, expenses, and judgments, including reasonable attorney fees, arising out of or in connection with my participation in the Activities.

5. Media Release:
I hereby grant Latin Groove Dance Academy the right to use my likeness, image, and voice in photographs, videos, and other media for promotional purposes related to the Studio.

6. Emergency Medical Treatment:
In the event of an injury or medical emergency, I authorize the Studio to seek and consent to emergency medical treatment on my behalf.

7. Governing Law:
This Waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey.

I have read this Waiver and fully understand its terms. I acknowledge that I am giving up substantial rights by accepting this Waiver and do so voluntarily and without any inducement or assurance of any nature.

Class Registration and Payment:

Class Changes and Cancellations:

Missed Classes:

1. Latin Groove Dance Academy does not offer refunds, but you can schedule a make-up class for missed classes.
2. If you miss a class, you may schedule a make-up class (of the same level) during the remainder of the season.

How to schedule a make-up class:

2. Provide student's full name, the class you are unable to attend, and the reason for your request.
3. Make-up classes will be scheduled based on availability.
