• Other select holidays or events as announced throughout the season
Please note that tuition remains consistent regardless of holiday closures, as these dates are built into the annual schedule. Any additional closures will be communicated via email and posted in the studio.
Recital: We have one recital a year that all dancers will participate in. Our recital typically takes place in June. There will be a recital packet sent home in the spring. If your dancer does not want to take part in the recital you must email the studio by December 31st. We have one recital each season, which is performed twice to ensure all dancers get ample stage time and to accommodate family and friends
Weather: If there is bad weather, we will decide 1.5 hours prior to classes starting if we will cancel classes. We will post our decision to our FB page and send out an email. We may still have classes on school “Snow Days”.
Make Up classes: If your dancer misses a class due to weather, illness, or other reason you will not receive a refund for the missed class(es). Your dancer may come to a different class to make up the missed class.
Dropping a Class: If a student wishes to withdraw from a class, an official written notice via email is required prior to the first of the month. Verbal notice given to instructors or staff, or simply ceasing to attend class, does not constitute withdrawal. All drop requests must be sent to relevedancecenter@gmail.com or you can drop through Dance Studio Pro. Tuition charges will continue to accrue until the date the email is received, not the last date of attendance. You are financially responsible for all tuition up to that point, regardless of class participation. We appreciate your understanding as this helps us maintain accurate records, staffing, and class sizes.
Observing Classes: We don’t allow parents in the classroom while classes are taking place. If your child is new to the studio, you are welcome to watch the first class with your child. There will be times when the teachers invite the parents into the studio for a “sneak peak”.
On Time: Please have your dancer arrive 10 minutes before their class starts. Students should be ready with hair up and dance clothes and footwear on when the class is scheduled to start. It is important for your dancer to warm up properly to avoid injury. If your child misses warm up they may be asked to sit out for the remainder of class.
Food: There is no food or drink allowed in the studio with the exception of water. We encourage all dancers to come to class with a water bottle.
Bullying: We have a very strict no bullying policy at Relevé Dance Center. Dancers will be dismissed from class for bullying of any kind. We will not tolerate parents talking negatively about dancers or staff at RDC. No gossiping of any kind will be allowed by parents or students.
