DANCE REPUBLIC
SEASON 17 PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT & WAIVERS
Season 17: July 2026 - June 2027
This Participation Agreement & Waivers applies to the dancer's participation in Dance Republic's Season 17 dance season.
PARTICIPATION & ATTENDANCE
I understand that consistent attendance is important for my dancer's progress and participation.
Missed classes may be made up within six (6) weeks, subject to class availability. Make-up classes must be scheduled
through the Dance Republic Parent Portal or front desk prior to attendance.
There are no prorates, credits, or refunds for missed classes or absences.
TUITION, FEES & AUTO-PAY
Dance Republic Season 17 begins on the second Monday of July 2026 and ends on the second Saturday of June
2027.
Tuition is based on the entire dance season and is divided into 12 equal monthly installments, July through June.
Monthly payments are installments toward the full season tuition and are not based on the number of classes held in any
individual month. Therefore, tuition is not prorated for holidays, scheduled studio closures, or months containing fewer class
days.
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month and includes applicable Gilbert amusement tax.
A valid credit/debit card must remain on file while a dancer is enrolled. Any balance remaining unpaid on the 1st of the
month will be automatically charged to the credit/debit card on file.
Families wishing to pay by another approved payment method must make payment before the 1st of the month to prevent
the card on file from being charged.
Declined or unsuccessful payments are subject to Dance Republic's current late-payment fees. Accounts remaining past
due may result in suspension from classes, performances, competitions, or other Dance Republic activities until the
account is current.
Season 17 tuition rates and program-specific fees are published separately by Dance Republic and may vary by program.
Tuition payments do not incur a convenience fee. Recital fees and other applicable fees or charges are subject to a
4% convenience fee when paid by credit/debit card.
RECITAL PARTICIPATION & FEES
Dancers enrolled in participating classes are automatically registered for Dance Republic recitals unless a Recital
Non-Participation Form is submitted before the applicable recital fee due date.
December Recital Fee: Due September 15
June Recital Fee: Due January 15
Recital fees include the dancer's recital costume, professional video of the recital, individual photos, and group
photos of the dancer, along with other applicable recital-related items or services designated by Dance Republic.
Applicable sales tax will be added to recital costume/recital fees.
Once a recital fee has been charged or paid, it is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Season 17 recital fee amounts are published separately by Dance Republic.
WITHDRAWAL & CLASS CHANGES
Enrollment continues until Dance Republic receives the required Withdrawal Form.
Withdrawal requests received on or after the 1st of the month do not cancel tuition already due for that month.
Unused classes or lessons are forfeited upon withdrawal.
NON-REFUNDABLE FEES & FINANCIAL COMMITMENTS
All payments made to Dance Republic are non-refundable and non-transferable.
This includes, but is not limited to, tuition, registration fees, recital fees, costume fees, Company fees, Crew fees,
team/program fees, choreography fees, guest teacher/choreographer fees, competition fees, convention fees,
private lesson fees, and other fees or payments made to Dance Republic.
Withdrawal from Dance Republic or withdrawal from an individual class, dance, team, Company, Crew,
competition, convention, performance, or other event does not eliminate financial obligations already incurred.
SUPERVISION, DROP-OFF & PICK-UP
Dance Republic is a dance instruction facility and does not provide childcare or general supervision outside of
scheduled Dance Republic classes and activities.
Parents/guardians remain responsible for their dancer's safe arrival to and departure from Dance Republic.
Parents/guardians are responsible for their children before the dancer enters their scheduled class or activity and
immediately upon the conclusion of that class or activity.
Dance Republic staff provide supervision only while a dancer is actively participating in a scheduled class, rehearsal,
performance, or other Dance Republic activity under the direction of Dance Republic staff.
Parents/guardians are responsible for arranging timely and appropriate drop-off and pick-up based on their dancer's age
and maturity.
Dance Republic is not responsible for a dancer's supervision before their scheduled activity begins or after it
concludes, including dancers who leave the studio or building without a parent/guardian or authorized adult.
If a parent/guardian permits a dancer to arrive, leave, walk, drive, or otherwise travel to or from Dance Republic without an
adult, the parent/guardian assumes responsibility for that decision and for the dancer outside of the dancer's
scheduled Dance Republic activity.
Parents/guardians are responsible for instructing their dancer regarding whether they have permission to leave the studio
or building without an adult.
Parents/guardians are responsible for keeping all contact information, emergency contacts, medical information relevant to
participation, and authorized pick-up information current in Dance Studio Pro.
Repeated late pick-ups may result in late pick-up charges in accordance with Dance Republic's current policies.
STUDIO CONDUCT
Students, parents, guardians, guests, and staff are expected to treat one another with respect both in person and online.
Bullying, harassment, threatening behavior, unsafe conduct, or behavior that substantially disrupts classes or studio
operations is not permitted.
Dance rooms are reserved for dancers participating in scheduled activities and authorized staff. Dancers may not play,
rehearse, or remain unattended in empty studios without permission.
Parents/guardians are financially responsible for damage to Dance Republic property caused by themselves, their dancer,
or their guests beyond ordinary wear and tear.
Dance Republic reserves the right to suspend or discontinue participation when conduct creates a safety concern,
substantially disrupts studio operations, or violates Dance Republic policies. Financial obligations already incurred remain
due.
DRESS & CLASS REQUIREMENTS
Dancers are expected to arrive in appropriate dance attire, footwear, and hairstyle for their class.
Specific dress-code requirements for each dance style and program are published separately by Dance Republic and may
be updated as needed.
For safety, hair must be secured away from the face and dangling jewelry should not be worn during class.
CALENDAR & STUDIO CLOSURES
Families are responsible for reviewing the current Dance Republic calendar for studio closures, performances, events, and
other important dates.
The current calendar is available through the Dance Republic Parent Portal and other studio communications.
PERSONAL PROPERTY
Dance Republic is not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged personal belongings.
Unclaimed lost-and-found items may periodically be donated or discarded in accordance with studio policy.
PHOTO, VIDEO & MEDIA RELEASE
I authorize Dance Republic to photograph, film, or record my dancer during classes, rehearsals, performances,
competitions, studio events, and related Dance Republic activities and to use such images, video, or audio for Dance
Republic promotional and marketing purposes, including its website, social media, digital communications, print materials,
and advertising, without compensation.
INSTRUCTIONAL CONTACT
I understand that dance instruction may involve appropriate physical contact by Dance Republic instructors,
choreographers, guest teachers, or staff for instructional and safety purposes, including demonstrating or correcting
alignment, positioning, technique, partnering, stretching, or safely spotting a dancer during a skill.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK & RELEASE
I understand that dance, tumbling, conditioning, stretching, partnering, rehearsals, performances, competitions, and related
activities involve physical activity and carry inherent risks of injury, including but not limited to falls, collisions, slips, strains,
sprains, fractures, head injuries, and other physical injuries.
I voluntarily authorize myself/my child to participate and knowingly assume the risks associated with participation in Dance
Republic activities.
I release and hold harmless Dance Republic Inc., its owners, officers, employees, instructors, guest instructors,
choreographers, independent contractors, agents, and representatives from claims, injuries, damages, or losses
arising from participation in Dance Republic activities, whether those activities take place at a Dance Republic
facility or at an off-site Dance Republic activity, performance, competition, or event.
EMERGENCY MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION
In the event of illness or injury, I authorize Dance Republic staff to provide reasonable basic first aid within the scope of their
training and to contact the parent/guardian.
If Dance Republic reasonably believes an illness or injury requires urgent or emergency medical attention, I authorize staff
to contact 911 and obtain emergency medical assistance for my child when a parent/guardian cannot first be reached or
when delaying care could pose a risk.
I authorize trained staff to administer CPR and first aid within the limits of their training while awaiting emergency
responders.
I understand that I am responsible for medical expenses incurred on behalf of myself/my child.
ILLNESS
Dancers should not attend classes or activities when experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness.
Parents/guardians acknowledge that participation in group activities involves the possibility of exposure to communicable
illnesses.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF STUDIO POLICIES
I understand that Dance Republic maintains additional Season 17 policies, tuition and fee schedules, dress codes,
calendars, program requirements, and other studio information separately through the Parent Portal, registration
materials, program packets, and studio communications.
I acknowledge that I am responsible for reviewing and following the policies and requirements applicable to my
dancer's enrollment and participation.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT & ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE
By selecting "I Agree" and/or providing my electronic signature through Dance Studio Pro, I acknowledge that I have read
and understand the Dance Republic Season 17 Participation Agreement & Waivers and agree to its terms on behalf of
myself and, when applicable, my minor child.
This agreement applies to participation during Dance Republic Season 17.
