Attendance-
Regular attendance is mandatory.
Students should arrive to class at least five minutes early to properly warm up. Students must have and maintain a 90% class attendance rating. Dancers may make up any missed classes. (Prolonged illness or injury will be evaluated on a case by case basis.) Should a student’s attendance drop below what is required, both the student and parents will be notified.
You MUST email and/or notify us through the portal if you are going to be late or absent.
In the event of an absence, withdrawal or dismissal from K&M Studio, all fees are non-refundable.
Tuition and Late Fees-
Yearly Tuition is posted to your account prior to our season start date. Tuition is broken down into 10 payments, with each payment due the 1st of each month (pay period), September through June. Payment must be made by the 7th of each pay period in order to avoid a $25 Late fee. Please see below regarding late fee information.
Payments may be made through the parent portal. If you would like to pay by cash or check, please notify the studio. Regardless of your payment method, all families must have a credit card on file on our parent portal. If your payment is not received by the 7th of each payment period, the credit card on file will automatically be charged. Your child's registration is not complete until a credit card is on file.
Tuition late fees of $25 will be added in the event that tuition payment is not paid by the 7th of each pay period. Late fees will continue to accrue until payment is made for that pay period. For example, if a payment is missed in April, you will have a $25 MONTHLY late fee. If a payment is made on August 2nd to cover the missed fee, the accrued late fee would total to $100 ($25 for April, May, June and July) on top of the missed April payment. This late fee is applied for ANY missed tuition payment.
Costumes and Costume Late Fees-
Costume payments are due in full on or before November 1st of each season. Costume fees are $95 per routine. Please note there is a one time fee of $22 for recital tights. This fee covers the cost of the tights your child will wear for the performance and ensures uniformity on stage.
Should costume payment not be paid in full by November 1st, a late fee of $25 will be added to your balance per costume. This late fee will accrue monthly until payment is made in full.
Attire-
All students who have made the choice to participate in dance classes at K&M need to understand that proper dance attire is part of the discipline and commitment to their study of dance. When all students are dressed appropriately and alike, their focus remains on dance. Therefore, the dress codes will be enforced. Part of the uniform is hair. Hair must be off the face and pulled back in a neat ponytail, braid or bun. The dress code shoes are required for class participation.
*If students do not conform they will not be allowed to participate in class.
Required Dates
Classes the week leading up to recital are mandatory for all dancers.
