Ballet & Dance of Upstate New York, Inc.
Student Policies, Attendance Requirements, and Waiver of Liability
1. Regular Attendance
Consistent attendance is essential for student progress.
If a student misses four (4) or more classes in a quarter without making them up, they will be placed in a lower level until all makeups are completed.
Missing four (4) or more classes during the 3rd and 4th quarters will result in the student being ineligible to participate in the Annual Student Performance at the end of the year.
No exceptions will be made unless specifically authorized by the Director.
No refunds are given for missed classes.
2. Class Attire
Required attire for all classes can be found at: www.balletanddanceofupstateny.com.
3. Tuition & Payment Policies

1st Installment: Tuesday, September 2
2nd Installment: Monday, October 27
3rd Installment: Monday, January 12
4th Installment: Monday, March 16

4. Withdrawal from Classes
Withdrawal is permitted only with a signed doctor’s note.
By completing the Registration Form, students are enrolled for the entire school calendar year.
If a student withdraws without a doctor’s note, all fees for the current quarter remain due.
No prorating will be given for classes already attended.
5. Student Performance Participation

The use of cell phones, texting, photography, and recording equipment is strictly prohibited during performances.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for bullying—verbal, electronic, written, or physical—whether in the studio, theater, or on social media.
