Fees:
Membership Fees: When enrolling in a class at Arts in Motion, you will pay our annual membership fee. Membership fees cover a year from your start date. Membership fees are non-refundable.
Your membership includes:
Access to early enrollment
Member rates on AIM events
Member rates on AIM Birthday Parties
Tuition Fees: Tuition is based on the number of classes per season and paid in equal monthly installments, due on the 1st of each month. Charges are processed via autopay to a bank account, debit, or credit card (modifiable in the parent portal). An invoice is sent on the 25th as a reminder. Tuition remains due regardless of attendance to hold the student’s spot. To withdraw, a written notice must be submitted before the 1st, and we will provide a withdrawal form upon request. Refunds and cancellation fees apply per student per term.
Policies:
Tuition Policy: At enrollment, a card must be placed on file. Tuition is due in full on the 1st of each month. If tuition is not paid by the 15th of the month, your child will not be able to attend classes until the account is paid to date. At the end of the month, if your balance is not up-to-date, your child will be dropped from the class.
Additional classes, performances, events or merchandise may not be added to an account that is past due!
Cash Policy: At enrollment, a card must be placed on file. If you prefer to pay tuition in cash, fees must be paid by the 25th of the month prior. Failure to pay in cash by the 25th will result in tuition processing using the card on file. We accept exact cash only, no change is kept on hand. In the event you do not have exact cash, we will put the remaining amount on your account as a non-refundable credit to be used towards next month’s tuition.
CANCELLATION AND INCLIMATE WEATHER POLICY: Although every effort is made not to cancel classes, Arts in Motion reserves the right to cancel any class at any time. When possible, a make-up date will be offered. For inclement weather, we follow Spartanburg District 7 school cancellations for guidance, and will communicate decisions on closure via text, social media, and phone calls. No credit will be given for inclement weather days.
ATTENDANCE POLICY: Regular attendance is vital to student progress. Students who miss classes often or are often late cause disruption to the flow and progress of the class. No refunds will be given for missed classes, however students may make up a missed class in another age-appropriate class pending space availability. A reservation must be made in order to take a make-up class. Reservations will only be accepted one day prior to the intended make-up day. Arts in Motion reserves the right to limit the number of students taking a make-up opportunity in any given class for some age groups. A student absent more than 3 weeks with no communication from the parent may be dropped from their class.
Withdrawal Policy:
For students withdrawing mid-season: Monthly tuition will not be refunded for classes already paid for, attended or not. No refunds are given for failure to communicate notice of withdrawal prior to tuition drafting on the 1st of the month. Any missed classes a student wishes to make up must be scheduled within the student’s final month.
For students who have paid for the season in full: the remaining balance minus any classes that have occurred, attended or not, will be refunded, minus a $45 cancellation fee. Parents may also hold the remaining balance as a store credit, with a $20 cancellation fee.

Medical Waiver: Although every effort is made to create a safe environment, I realize there is always a risk of accidents.
