GENERAL RULES and REGULATIONS
By registering with Dance Tech Inc., I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to abide by all Dance Tech Inc. policies and procedures. I understand that participation in dance and related activities involves inherent risks of injury and property loss, and I voluntarily assume those risks on behalf of myself and/or my child.
I further acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. I have reviewed and understand the studio's payment, withdrawal, and refund policies.
2. I understand that dancers enrolled in Full-Year Programs and Session 2 Kinder Programs will participate in the Year-End Showcase and that a costume is required for each performing class.
3. I understand that Showcase tickets must be purchased separately to attend the performance.
4. I understand that registration fees, September tuition payments, costume deposits, examination fees, competition fees, and showcase tickets are non-refundable.
5. Examination participation is not guaranteed. Eligibility for examinations is determined solely at the teacher's discretion based on attendance, readiness, skill level, and overall performance throughout the season.
6. Dance Tech Inc. reserves the right to place or move a dancer to a class or level that best suits their age, ability, and developmental needs.
7. I understand that Dance Tech Inc. maintains a dress code and attire requirements for all classes. Failure to comply with the dress code may result in a dancer being asked to observe class or leave class until properly dressed. Current attire requirements are available on the Dance Tech Inc. website.
8. Accounts must remain in good standing in order for dancers to participate in examinations, competitions, performances, and other studio events, and to register for future programs.
9. Dance Tech Inc. reserves the right to amend policies, schedules, class offerings, instructors, and program requirements when necessary. Families will be notified of significant changes.

PHOTO and VIDEO RELEASE
I grant Dance Tech Inc. permission to photograph and/or record myself and/or my child during classes, performances, competitions, rehearsals, studio events, and related activities.
I understand that these photographs and recordings may be used by Dance Tech Inc. for promotional, advertising, marketing, social media, website, print, and other business-related purposes without compensation or further notice.

MEDICAL EMERGENCIES
In the event of an illness, injury, or medical emergency, Dance Tech Inc staff will make every reasonable effort to contact a parent, guardian, or emergency contact.
If Dance Tech Inc staff determine that emergency medical assistance is required, they are authorized to contact Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and arrange transportation to a medical facility if deemed necessary.
The parent/guardian assumes full responsibility for any costs associated with medical treatment, ambulance services, transportation, or related expenses incurred because of a medical emergency.

LIABILITY
Participation in dance classes, performances, competitions, examinations, rehearsals, and related activities involves inherent physical risks. By enrolling in Dance Tech Inc programs, participants and their parent/guardian acknowledge and voluntarily accept these risks.
Dance Tech Inc, its owners, directors, employees, contractors, and volunteers shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from participation in studio activities, except where required by law.
Dance Tech Inc is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property brought to the studio, competitions, performances, or other Dance Tech Inc events.
Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that their contact information and emergency contact information remain current and accurate throughout the dance season.

PAYMENTS
All accounts are set up with Automatic Credit Card Withdrawal. Tuition fees will be automatically charged to the credit card on file on the 1st day of each month. Additional fees (including, but not limited to, costume fees, examination fees, competition fees, and showcase-related fees) will be communicated by email and charged according to the published payment schedule.
• Convenience fees are included in the monthly tuition fees.
• Registration Fee of $75 per dancer and the first half of September tuition are due at the time of registration. These fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• The Registration Fee includes one electronic copy of the Year-End Showcase video, delivered by email.
• The second half of September tuition will be charged during the first week of classes.
• A non-refundable Costume Deposit will be charged on January 15,2027. A reminder and the amount will be emailed before the due date.
• Costume deposits, registration fees, showcase tickets, and September tuition payments are non-refundable.
• Once examination or competition participation has been confirmed through a Google Form, signed competition placement sheet, registration form, or other written commitment, all associated fees are considered committed and must be paid according to the published payment schedule, regardless of subsequent withdrawal from the examination or competition team.
• Accounts must be in good standing in order to register for future programs and participate in examinations, competitions, performances, and other studio events.

LATE FEES
• A $25 late fee will be applied to accounts that are 10 days past due.
• Accounts with an outstanding balance greater than 30 days will be charged a 10% fee on the overdue balance.
• An additional 10% fee will be applied every 30 days thereafter until the account is brought current.
• Any declined or failed payment may be automatically reprocessed. Dance Tech Inc reserves the right to suspend participation in classes, performances, examinations, competitions, and events for accounts that remain unpaid.

CANCELLATIONS & WITHDRAWALS
• Written notice of withdrawal is required at least 30 days prior to the dancer's final class.
• Notice of withdrawal must be submitted by email to the studio office.
• Tuition will continue to be charged on the 1st of each month during the required 30-day notice period. Attendance during this period is at the dancer's discretion.
• Registration fees, costume deposits, competition fees, examination fees, showcase tickets, and any tuition already paid are non-refundable.
• No refunds or credits will be issued for missed classes due to illness, injury, vacation, holidays, weather, scheduling conflicts, or other personal circumstances.
• Sessional classes are non-refundable after the first class has taken place.
• Classes cancelled due to severe weather, facility closures, public health restrictions, or circumstances beyond Dance Tech Inc's control are not eligible for refunds or credits.
• No refunds or credits will be issued after February 1 for the current dance season.
