Welcome to JDA Dance Company, LLC! It is our intent that your child has a wonderful learning experience as well as the opportunity to find joy in dance, tumble, and cheer!
Classes
All students must wear dance/tumble related attire. Jeans, dresses, and any clothing that restricts movement will not be allowed in class. Leotards, unitards, spandex, shorts, leggings, tanks, sports bras, etc. are considered class attire.
All tap shoes (black), ballet shoes (pink), and jazz shoes (beige slip on) must be worn for those classes. Clean tennis shoes are only allowed for cheer and hip-hop.
All hair, unless too short, must be pulled back in a bun, ponytail, or braids.
To be considered for a solo/duet/trio, your child must also be enrolled in a group class.
All tumble classes will be divided by skill level. The class instructor holds to right to place your child in the appropriate class.
The studio owner and class instructor hold the right to cancel or combine any class that does not have adequate enrollment.
Payment
All tuition is due by the 1st of every month. There is a $20 late fee added to your tuition if payment is not received before the 15th of each month.
Your tuition is the same every month regardless of how many times a class meets. However, every class is guaranteed to meet a minimum of 3 times per month.
Please make sure to include your child's first and last name and exactly what your payment is for on your check/cash envelope. If not labeled properly, payment will be applied at JDA's discretion.
Class tuition is due whether your child attends class or not, please note that once registered we are holding a spot for your student each week for the entire dance/tumble season. Continual participation is encouraged. If a student must miss, payment for that time off is still required. There will be no refund for partial months attended.
If a student must withdraw, please notify the studio via email no later than last day of the month. Any student who drops a class after the month has started, will be charged full tuition for that month. Tuition will continue to accrue until notification is received.
If you miss a monthly payment, your child will not be allowed to attend class until payment is made
Any returned checks will have a $35 cash service fee. After 2 returned checks are received you will be required to only pay cash.
Once tuition is paid, there will be no refunds given.

Holiday and weather policy
• The studio will be closed on all major holidays, winter and spring break unless otherwise specified.
• We typically follow South Gibson School Corporation for fall, winter and spring breaks. However, there are exceptions.
• In the event of bad weather, we will announce if we feel we need to cancel classes. If this causes the class to meet less than 3 times during the month, your instructor will set a makeup class.
Costumes
• Recital costumes will be ordered by January 15th to ensure delivery by recital. All costumes must be paid in full before your child will receive their costume. We ask that you put a down payment of $50/per costume by November 15th. If your costume ends up being less than $50, we will credit your account. If it is more, then we will bill you the remainder.
Recital
• Our annual recital will be held the first weekend in June. All outstanding balances must be paid prior to participation in the recital. All dance and cheer classes will perform. Participation is not a requirement, however, if you are not planning on participating, please let your instructor know as soon as possible.
