All Dynamic Dancers and Parents/Guardians must adhere to the Code of Conduct that reflects our studios values, philosophy, and mission.

All Dynamic Dancers:

*Will be friendly, kind, compassionate, and welcoming to the other dancers and guests at the studio and in their classes.
*Are expected to demonstrate respect for all instructors, assistants, staff members, and fellow students.
*Must embrace all students in your class, regardless of differences in skill level, age, or background.
*Must be supportive of one another as well as dancers of other studios. Dancers must encourage and praise each other's hard work and accomplishments including positive comments, clapping for one another, and other similar types of recognition.
*Are expected to focus and limit distractions in order to pay attention to the dance teacher's instructions.
*Are expected to be punctual. It is imperative that all dancers participate in warm-up to ensure that their body is ready for physical activity. If a dancer misses warm-up, it could lead to an unnecessary injury.
*Must adhere to the dress code. This includes hair and attire. Dancers that do not adhere to the dress code may be asked not to participate in class that day.
*Are expected to be quiet and courteous to the dancers, dance teachers, and assistants when observing a class while it is in progress.
*Must treat the studios, the premises, and the possessions of all other dancers with respect, care, and consideration.
*Are expected to clean up after themselves and any mess that they create while at the studio.
*Will neatly store their belongings and will respect the belongings of others.
*Must conduct themselves in a manner that reflects positively on Dynamic Dance LLC.
*Are expected to be helpful. If you see a way you can help a teacher, a parent, or another student, do it!

*There is no tolerance for any form of physical violence or aggression. Any physical altercation or harmful behavior may result in immediate expulsion from the studio without refund.
*There is no tolerance for bullying of any kind, whether it be in person, on social media, by phone, email, or texting. Bullying will result in expulsion from the studio without refund.

*Dancers interested in performing at shows and recitals are expected to attend classes weekly. Poor attendance may result in exclusion from specific performances.

*Parents/Guardians of dancers must adhere to all the code of conduct standards of the studio including but not limited to kindness and respect for all staff and dancers, punctuality in dropping off and picking up students, treating the facility with care and consideration, and conducting oneself in a manner that reflects positively on Dynamic Dance LLC.
*Parents/Guardians, if you need to talk with an instructor or studio owner, please email the studio to set up a time instead of trying to talk to instructors during studio time.

I, the Participant (or the Participant’s Guardian), acknowledge and assume all risks associated with participating in activities or events at Dynamic Dance LLC. This includes, but is not limited to, risks arising from negligence, defective equipment or property, and unforeseen incidents.
I understand that participation in dance classes and related activities may result in personal injury despite safety precautions. By signing this waiver, I voluntarily assume all risks and agree not to hold Dynamic Dance LLC, its instructors, staff, dancers, or facility owners liable for any injury, property damage, or loss occurring before, during, or after participation.
I certify that the Participant is physically fit and has not been advised by a medical professional to refrain from participation. I also confirm that the Participant is in good health and does not pose a health risk to others.
I release, waive, and discharge Dynamic Dance LLC, its employees, volunteers, sponsors, and event organizers from any claims, liabilities, or damages—whether related to injury, illness, accidents, or acts of nature—that may arise during participation, including travel to and from events.
Furthermore, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dynamic Dance LLC and its affiliates from any claims resulting from my participation.

I hereby give to Amy Nelson and Dynamic Dance the absolute and irrevocable right and permission with respect to the photographs that she has taken of me and/or my minor child in which she may be included with others:

a) To copyright the same in the photographer's name or any other name that he/she may select;
b) To use, re-use, publish and re-publish the same in whole or in part, separately or in conjunction with other photographs, in any medium now or hereafter known, and for any purpose whatsoever, including (but not by way of limitation) illustration, promotion, advertising and trade, and;
c) To use my name and/or my child's name in connection therewith if she so decides. I hereby release and discharge the photographer from all and any claims and demands ensuing from or in connection with the use of the photographs, including any and all claims for libel and invasion of privacy.

I recognize that these photographs are being taken by studio staff, not professional photographers. Photos from Picture Day are sold as a means to raise funds for the studio. Quality of photographs are not guaranteed.

This authorization and release shall insure to the benefit of the legal representatives, licensees and assigns of the photographer as well as the person(s) for whom he/she took the photographs. I have read the foregoing and fully understand the contents hereof. I represent that I am or am the parent and/or legal guardian of the above named model/dancer. For value received, I hereby consent to the foregoing on his/her behalf.

SPECTATOR POLICY
To minimize crowding and reduce the spread of illness, spectators are not allowed inside the studio, except for parents/guardians of young dancers on their first day of class. Learning new skills in a pressure-free environment without feeling watched or on display helps students focus and gain confidence.

HEALTH POLICY
Students should stay home if experiencing illness symptoms, including fever (99.9°F+), vomiting, diarrhea, or severe cough. Hand washing and sanitizer use are encouraged upon entry and after class. Masks are optional unless otherwise directed by CDC guidelines.
Students in performing classes with mild injuries should attend class and participate as they are able. Otherwise, they should observe the class to avoid falling behind on choreography.

DRESS CODE
Dancers must arrive dressed and ready for class.
Attire: Form-fitting, movement-friendly clothing (e.g., t-shirts, leggings). No jeans.
Footwear: Outside street shoes are never allowed on the dance floor.
*Hip Hop: Clean-soled shoes not worn outside (no street shoes on the dance floor).
*All other dance styles: Soft-soled jazz, ballet, or contemporary dance shoes (such as pirouette shoes), dance socks with grips, or bare feet.
Hair: Must be secured away from the face. Hair ties are available when forgotten for $1 (first time) and $3 (subsequent times).
Dresses/skirts: Must be worn with shorts, leggings, or a leotard/tights combo underneath. Loaner shorts are available for use with a $3 charge if needed.
Jewelry/hats: No loose or dangling jewelry. No hats.
Hygiene: Including but not limited to clean, odor-free clothing and deodorant use as needed. No strong fragrances allowed.

FOOD, DRINK, WATER, & GUM
Food and drinks (except water) are prohibited unless for special events. Gum is never permitted. Dancers must bring a full water bottle; there is no water fountain on site. Dancers who forget water will be given bottled water for $1 (first time) and $3 (subsequent times).

ATTENDANCE
Dancers should arrive on time to participate in warm-ups to help prevent injury. Regular weekly attendance is required for those performing in shows and recitals. Poor attendance may result in exclusion from performances and/or specific dance numbers. It is the dancer's responsibility to learn missed choreography, which may require private lessons.

DROP-INS
Drop-ins are allowed for teen/adult classes based on availability. Individual class registration must be completed online at least 2 hours before class.

PICK-UP & LATE PICK-UPS
Children 10 and under must be picked up at the door by their guardian. A late pick-up fee of $10 per 5 minutes applies. Staff are not responsible for unattended children outside the studio. If a child is not picked up after class, staff will contact the emergency contact and provide instructions.

STUDIO CONDUCT & EXPECTATIONS
Dancers and parents/guardians must follow our studio code of conduct at all times.
Dancers and parents/guardians must conduct themselves with integrity, respect, and proper conduct at all times.
Respectful behavior is expected toward dancers, parents/guardians, staff, and the facility.
Talking should be minimal during class to maintain focus.
Disruptive and/or disrespectful behavior will result in warnings, parental/guardian contact, and potential removal from class. Repeat offenses may result in dismissal from the studio.
Gossip, bullying (physical, emotional, or cyber), and disrespect will not be tolerated and may lead to dismissal.
Parent/Guardian or student disrespect or defamation toward any parent/guardian, staff member, or student will result in a meeting and dismissal may be considered at the discretion of the studio owner.
Dancers must refrain from touching mirrors and curtains, or hanging on ballet barres.
Any damage to the facility caused by negligence is the participant’s responsibility to replace.

DISCIPLINE POLICY
If a dancer refuses to follow directions or is disrespectful to the teacher or classmates, they will receive a verbal warning from the instructor.
If the behavior continues, the dancer may be asked to sit out of class temporarily.
In the case of multiple incidents, the studio will send an email to the dancer’s parent/guardian to discuss the issue and potential solutions.
If there is continued misconduct, Dynamic Dance staff will arrange an in-person meeting with the parents to determine further action, which may include dismissal from the studio.

TUITION POLICY
Tuition must be paid in full before participating in classes and performances. Tuition in inclusive of registration fees, class fees, recital fees, and any applicable costume fees.
Monthly Class Tuition is an annual amount based on a 10-month dance year (Sep-June) and is billed as 10 equal monthly installments. Dancers joining mid-season will have a prorated tuition based on their start date.
Tuition for special sessions is designed as an up-front full payment for the total designated number of weeks in a session.
Payments are due on the 1st of each month via autopay. Cash/check payments must be received by the 25th of the prior month or card on file will be charged on the 1st of the month.
A $10 late fee applies for payments not received by the 10th day of the month.
Tuition remains the same each month regardless of classes attended or classes not held due to holidays, weather closures, or teacher absences.
Performing dancers required to pay $35 recital fee and applicable costume fees.
Dancers who perform in the May recital are required to pay June tuition regardless of intent to attend classes as it is the last installment of the annual fee.
Tuition and fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. In the event of a cancellation, deposits made for classes or camps will be credited to accounts for use on future classes or camps.
Dynamic Dance LLC reserves the right to reconcile any negligent tuition and or fees.

CLASS ADJUSTMENTS
A 30-day written notice via email is required to drop a class. If withdrawing from a full class, the spot is forfeited.
Classes/class schedules may be changed or canceled by Dynamic Dance LLC based on teacher availability or low enrollment.

FUNDRAISING
Fundraising is optional but strongly encouraged, especially for families seeking help offsetting the cost of tuition, costumes, and recital fees. Fundraisers provide valuable opportunities to benefit both individual dancers and the studio as a whole.
Each fundraiser will include a defined profit split between the participating dancer and the studio which may vary by fundraiser and will be clearly communicated before the start of each campaign. The dancer’s portion of the funds raised will be applied as a credit to their studio account and may be used toward tuition, costume fees, and/or recital fees.
Fundraising credits have no cash value and are non-transferable. If a dancer withdraws from the studio before using the credit, any unused fundraising balance will be forfeited and retained by the studio.

REFERAL PROGRAM
When you refer new students who sign up at Dynamic Dance, you’ll be entered into our monthly drawing for a $25 Amazon gift card. One winner will be drawn each month. Refer multiple dancers each month for more chances to win. Referred dancers must be brand new to the studio with no prior connection to Dynamic Dance or its staff in order to qualify.

COMMUNICATION POLICY
Dancers/Guardians grant permission to Dynamic Dance LLC to contact them via email and/or text.
All studio communication must go through official studio channels: email or text to the studio owner, in person at the studio, or via the studio managed WhatsApp groups for adult students. Personal contact information such as phone number, email address, or social media usernames should not be exchanged between teachers and dancers/guardians. Private messaging between students, families, and staff (including text, phone, or social media) is not permitted under any circumstances.
Dancers under the age of 18 are not permitted to contact staff directly via phone, text, email, or social media.

ANTI-DISCRIMINATION POLICY
Dynamic Dance LLC does not discriminate based on race, religion, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any protected category.

DISCLOSURE OF SPECIAL NEEDS AND ACCOMMODATIONS
To best support every dancer, we kindly require that parents, guardians, and/or dancers disclose any known disabilities, special needs, IEPs, medical conditions, or other limitations prior to or at the time of registration. This information allows us to plan appropriately and ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive experience for all dancers.

SECURITY CAMERA POLICY:
For the safety and security of all dancers, families, and staff, our studio is equipped with a security camera that records activity within the main studio space. The footage is used strictly for safety, security, and quality assurance purposes. Access to the footage is limited to studio management.

PUBLICITY RELEASE
By participating, dancers and parents grant permission, free of charge, for photos and/or videos to be taken and used for promotional purposes including but not limited to print, digital, and social media. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis in the event that publicized images may be of harm or danger to the participant.
In-class videos recorded for choreography practice must be kept within the class participants and must not be shared on social media.

COVID-19 POLICY
Dynamic Dance LLC has implemented measures to reduce COVID-19 risks but cannot guarantee safety. By attending, participants assume all risks related to exposure and release Dynamic Dance LLC from any liability.

PARENT HANDBOOK
Participants/Guardians must comply with the current Parent Handbook policies.
Dynamic Dance LLC policies and procedures are subject to change and will be updated via the online Parent Handbook.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY
Participant/Participant's Guardian recognizes that there are certain inherent risks associated with attending Dynamic Dance LLC and assumes full responsibility for personal injury to themselves and further release and discharge Dynamic Dance LLC, its officers, employees, faculty, directors, owners, subcontractors and agents, for injury, loss, or damage arising out of Participant/Participant's family’s use of or presence upon the facilities or events held by/of Dynamic Dance LLC, whether caused by the fault of Participant, participant's family, Dynamic Dance LLC, or other third parties.
Participant/Guardian assumes full responsibility for personal injury and releases Dynamic Dance LLC, its employees, and agents from liability. In the event of injury, participants authorize Dynamic Dance LLC to seek necessary medical treatment at the participant’s expense.

INDEMNIFICATION
Participants agree to hold harmless and indemnify Dynamic Dance LLC and its representatives from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from participation in studio activities.
