Studio Policies
Parents please make sure you read all emails, as important information will be coming in those! If you have questions, please either email the studio at stacy.inmotionda@gmail.com. It is your responsibility to read all email notices.
Dance Shoes:
Please do not wear any dance shoes outside, please come to class and change into your dance shoes.
Dance shoes will vary based on class:
Ballet – Pink Ballet Shoes
Jazz – Capezio Light Caramel Jazz Shoes (no ties)
Tap – Capezio Black Tap Shoes
Irish – Black Gillis or Capezio Black Tap Shoes
Hip Hop – Black Hip Hop Shoes
Dance Attire:
Dance leotard, tights, dance pants, dance shorts, dance skirts are required for class. NO DENIM, as it is too restrictive.
Payment:
Class fees are to be paid in full every two months. Fees can be paid by card, check or cash.

March 6th
All credit cards will be charged a processing fee.
All returned checks will be charged a $40 fee.
Late fees will be added every month, starting September 16th, and will continue every month on the 16th, if account has not been paid in full. Late fees are $30.
There are no refunds at anytime for any reason.
Registration Fee:
There is a $35 registration fee, per dancer, per year, that is due in the fall when registering for classes.
Costumes:
Each class will have a costume for recital. These costumes range from $100 to $200. A nonrefundable costume fee will be applied in November, due on December 15th.
Costume distribution will be in the spring.
Once Costumes are ordered, you are responsible for full payment of costume.
Multiple Class Discount:
If a family or individual student is taking 3 or more classes, a 10% discount will be given. This does not apply to competition families, unless they are taking 3 or more studio classes outside of competition. Tuition must be paid in full and on time to receive this discount.
Attendance:
Students are expected to be at every class and arrive on time. Please let the studio know if your student will not be in class, or if they are discontinuing a class. There will be no refunds in the event that you or your student decided to discontinue the class.
Students are responsible for attending class, if the student misses more than 6 classes through out the year (September to May) the instructor has the right to remove student from the spring recital.
Cancellations:
If Midland Public Schools are closed due to weather then the studio will be closed that day. If the weather worsens as the day progresses, please watch for an email, or Facebook page by 2:00 PM for cancelation. If the class is cancelled by the studio/instructor a make up will be arranged.
