4-Week Month Tuition Policy

Monthly tuition is calculated based on an average 4-week month. Tuition remains the same regardless of whether a month includes five weeks or fewer due to holidays or studio closings.

We reserve the right to cancel classes for reasons such as inclement weather, power outages, or staff emergencies. In such cases, students may attend a comparable make-up class suited to their age and level. Tuition will not be adjusted for canceled classes.

If a student misses a class for any reason, tuition will not be prorated or refunded. Exceptions may be made in the case of extended absences due to medical leave, as approved by Ms. Amber or Ms. Raelynn.

Annual Membership Fee

A non-refundable annual membership fee of $50.00 per family is required at the time of registration for the 2025–2026 Season. This fee must be paid in full to secure your child’s spot in class and is valid for the entire season.

To renew your membership for a future season, your account must be paid in full with a zero balance.

Your Annual Membership Fee includes setup of your account and billing for the 2025–2026 Season, along with a digital Tip Toes and Taps Welcome Packet!

Attendance Policy

To be eligible to perform in our annual recital, students may not miss more than 10 classes during the season (from August through the recital date). Consistent attendance is essential as classes during this time focus heavily on technique, choreography, and stage placement.

If your student must miss class due to a medical reason, such as injury or surgery, please speak directly with Ms. Amber or Ms. Raelynn to discuss accommodations.

In addition, attendance is required at all mandatory recital rehearsals, which include:
- All regular classes held during the 6 weeks leading up to the recital.
- The full dress rehearsal at the theater.
These final weeks are crucial for polishing routines and ensuring a confident performance.

Audition Fee Policy – SUPER STARS Performance Team

We are proud to offer auditions for our SUPER STARS Performance Dance Team. A non-refundable audition fee of $35.00 is required for each participant. This fee includes a professionally structured audition class, evaluation by a panel of judges, and a personalized results letter mailed directly to your home.

Audition dates and times will be announced on our website, shared on social media, and posted in your Parent Portal.

Class & Level Placement Policy

At Tip Toes and Taps, student placement is determined by our experienced faculty based on technical ability, age appropriateness, maturity, focus, and classroom readiness. We take great care in evaluating each student to ensure they are placed in the class and level that will best support their growth, development, and confidence.

We understand that students/parents may have preferences to be with friends/siblings or in specific classes. However, placement decisions are made for the benefit of the individual student and the overall classroom environment. For this reason, we do not accommodate requests for placement based on convenience, friendships, carpooling, or otherwise.

We reserve the right to adjust a student’s class or level at any time throughout the season if we feel their current placement is no longer the best fit—whether due to technical progression, behavioral readiness, or class availability.

Our top priority is to provide quality instruction and a positive learning experience for every student. Trusting our professional judgment in class placement helps us uphold the high standards of training and performance that Tip Toes and Taps is known for.

- 1st offense - verbal warning and a studio chore will be given (cleaning windows/mirrors etc.)
- 2nd offense - written warning and parents/guardians will be spoken to
- 3rd offense - expelled from class for two weeks (parents/guardians will still be charged)
- 4th offense - meeting with Ms. Amber and/or Ms. Raelynn to discuss final consequences (possible expulsion from the program)

Costume Policy

A Costume Deposit of $135.00 per student, per class, per costume is required for participation in our annual recital. Each class has its own unique costume, and a separate deposit is required for each.

Costume Deposit Due Date
- Costume Deposits must be paid in full by November 1, 2025 to ensure timely ordering.

- Deposits not paid by 11:59 PM EST on November 1, 2025 will incur a $30 late fee per costume, along with any additional shipping and handling charges (if the costume can still be ordered).

- Failure to pay the deposit on time may result in your student not being able to participate in the recital.

Please Note:
- Each $135.00 payment is a deposit only. If the actual costume cost exceeds the deposit, you will be invoiced for the remaining balance. If the actual cost is less than the deposit, the difference will be credited to your account.

- Any costume balance not paid within 60 days of invoicing will incur a $30 late fee.

What’s Included:

Each costume package includes:
- 2 pairs of tights (if applicable)
- Garment bag and hanger(s)
- All accessories (if applicable)
- Customizations and minor alterations as determined by the Studio Director

Specialty Add-Ons (per class):
- Hip Hop: Includes a pair of performance tennis shoes (additional cost will be added)
- Ballet: Includes a bun maker bundle with 10 Hair Ties to match students' hair color, 1 Bun doughnut in size and color appropriate for students' hair color, and 20 Bun Bobby Pins (additional cost will be added)

Health & Safety Guidelines

At Tip Toes and Taps, the health and well-being of our students, families, and staff is a top priority. The following procedures have been put in place to maintain a safe and healthy studio environment. We ask that all families partner with us by following these guidelines responsibly.

Illness Policy:
Anyone who has been ill within the past 48 hours, is exhibiting cold, flu, or COVID-19 symptoms, has a fever, or is currently taking fever-reducing medication will be required to leave the premises immediately.

Exposure Notice:
If you, your child, or anyone in your household has been exposed to illness or is showing symptoms of any contagious condition, please notify the studio and do not attend class to prevent potential spread to others.

Studio Access:
For safety and focus, observers are not allowed inside studio classrooms unless specifically invited by an instructor, Studio Manager, or Director. Restroom use is permitted and preferred only during class changeover to avoid class disruptions.

Class Arrival & Attire:
Students should arrive on time, fully dressed in required class attire, and ready to begin. The following items are not permitted in the studio rooms:
- Cell phones or electronic devices
- Street shoes
- Food, gum, or open drink containers
- Dangling or distracting jewelry or accessories
- Baggy clothing (exceptions may be made for hip hop attire)

Personal Items:
All student belongings should be kept in one designated dance bag to keep the space organized and efficient.

Hydration:
Students must bring a water bottle with plain water only to each class. Bottled water is also available for purchase at the front desk for $1.00.

Sanitization:
Hand sanitizer is provided at the front desk and in the studio room.

Classroom Security:
For safety reasons, the main studio doors will remain closed during class times. If you need to access your child during class, please speak to a member of our administrative team for assistance.

Surveillance Cameras:
For the ongoing safety and security of everyone in our facility, Tip Toes and Taps utilizes surveillance cameras throughout the interior and exterior of the studio. By entering our premises, you acknowledge and consent to being monitored on camera at all times while on site.

We appreciate your cooperation and commitment to keeping Tip Toes and Taps a safe, healthy, and happy space for everyone!

Late Fee Policy

A $25 late fee will be added to any account with monthly tuition not paid in full by 11:59 PM EST on the 10th of each month.
- If payment is still not received by the end of the month, the student(s) will be suspended from classes until the account balance is brought current.

A $30 late fee will be charged for any recital bundle fees, costume deposits, or agreed-upon payment plan installments that are not paid in full by 11:59 PM EST on their scheduled due date.

Lobby Guidelines

Our lobby is a shared common space used by students, families, staff, and conjoining businesses (where applicable). To ensure a safe, welcoming, and functional environment for everyone, we kindly ask all visitors to follow these guidelines:

- Please do not enter the studio more than 5 minutes prior to your scheduled class time unless you need to speak with a member of our administrative team.

- The lobby has limited seating capacity. If no seating is available, additional guests will be asked to wait outside.

- Due to restricted seating, we request that only one adult accompany their student into the lobby.

- Minors who are not enrolled in a class currently in session are not permitted to remain in the lobby unsupervised.

- To help reduce congestion at the studio entrance/exit, please have students wear easy slip-on shoes for quick transitions in and out of the building.

- Please dispose of all trash properly using the designated receptacles located throughout the facility. Littering is strictly prohibited.

- In the event of a spill or any special circumstance while in our building, please notify a staff member for assistance.

Media & Social Media Policy
We recognize that platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, blogs, email, and other forms of digital communication are a regular part of everyday life. However, the inappropriate or defamatory use of social or digital media in reference to Tip Toes and Taps, LLC will not be tolerated.

This includes, but is not limited to:

- Sharing or posting negative comments, slander, or harmful content related to the studio, its staff, students, or families

- Uploading or tagging inappropriate or unauthorized photos, videos, or voice recordings

- Posting or referencing illegal activity or substance use (including drugs, alcohol, or tobacco)

- Engaging in cyberbullying or any behavior that could harm the studio’s reputation or violate the privacy of others

The Studio Director reserves the right to remove any student or family from Tip Toes and Taps, LLC programming or events for inappropriate online behavior or the misuse of media in any form—electronic or written.

All Tip Toes and Taps members (students, families, and staff) are expected to maintain confidentiality and may not disclose, share, or discuss personal or proprietary information involving the studio, its directors, staff, students, or families.

Additionally, no Tip Toes and Taps member may represent themselves as a spokesperson or speak on behalf of the studio at any time on any platform.

Membership Agreement & Liability Waiver
If you have any questions regarding our studio policies and procedures throughout the year, you may access them by clicking the "Policy" tab located on your Parent Portal home screen. If you prefer a printed copy, please request one from the front office.

By enrolling your child at Tip Toes and Taps, LLC, it is understood that you have reviewed and discussed the policies and guidelines with your child(ren) as outlined in the registration form. Both parent(s)/guardian(s) and student(s) agree to follow all studio policies, procedures, and regulations. Please note that these policies are not exhaustive and may be interpreted at the discretion of the Studio Director.

Tip Toes and Taps, LLC reserves the right to modify policies, procedures, and registration forms at any time for valid and justifiable reasons. Should changes occur, parents will receive timely notification.

Acknowledgment of Terms
We confirm that we have thoroughly read, reviewed, and discussed the Tip Toes and Taps, LLC registration form, studio policies, and parent/student guidelines. We agree to fully adhere to all expectations and procedures as outlined. We understand that all participants are held accountable for their actions and may be subject to disciplinary action as detailed in the studio’s Code of Conduct.

Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
I/we, the undersigned parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of the registered student(s), acknowledge the inherent risks involved in participating in dance, tumbling, cheer, and related activities at Tip Toes and Taps, LLC. These risks may include, but are not limited to, illness, injury, or even paralysis.

In consideration of the student’s participation in any class, program, performance, or studio-related travel, I/we hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tip Toes and Taps, LLC, its owners, instructors, staff, and representatives from any and all liability, damages, losses, claims, causes of action, legal fees, or judgments resulting from participation.

Furthermore, I/we authorize Tip Toes and Taps, LLC staff to consent to emergency medical treatment on behalf of my/our child if I/we cannot be reached immediately in the event of a health or safety emergency.

By completing and submitting your registration, you affirm that you agree to all terms and conditions listed above.

Monthly Tuition Policy
Monthly tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable, and is due on the 1st of each month. Payments may be made by cash, check, credit card, or electronic debit. Your first month’s tuition must be paid in full prior to your student’s first class in order to secure their enrollment.

Monthly tuition statements will be sent via email and can also be accessed through your Parent Portal.

A $25 late fee will be automatically applied to any account not paid in full by 11:59 PM EST on the 10th of the month.
If tuition is not received in full by 11:59 PM EST on the last day of the month, the student will be suspended from class participation until the account is brought current.

⚠️ If your account becomes more than 2 months past due, additional late fees will be charged. Tip Toes and Taps, LLC reserves the right to report the outstanding balance to credit bureaus and/or pursue legal collection action.

Thank you for your cooperation and timely payments, which allow us to continue offering a high-quality dance experience for all our students.

Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) Policy

If a check or credit/debit card payment is returned due to non-sufficient funds, a $50 NSF fee will be charged by Tip Toes and Taps, LLC. This fee is in addition to the original payment amount, any applicable late fees ($25–$30), and any charges assessed by your bank.

After one returned check payment, you will no longer be permitted to pay by check, and all future payments must be made via cash, credit/debit card, or electronic payment.

We appreciate your attention to this policy to help ensure smooth financial operations for all studio families.

On-Time Pickup Policy
Students must be picked up promptly at the end of their scheduled class time. We understand that occasional delays can happen. However, any pickup more than 5 minutes late without prior notice will result in a verbal warning on the first occurrence.

For each occurrence thereafter, a late pickup fee of $1.00 per minute, per child will be charged — with no maximum cap. This policy is in place to respect the time and responsibilities of our staff and ensure a safe, well-managed environment for all students.

Payment Plan Policy

A $30 administrative fee will be applied to any account that requests or requires a payment plan for any reason, including but not limited to Recital Bundle Fees.

All payment plan installments are due in full by 11:59 PM EST on the agreed-upon due dates. Please note: there is no grace period for payment plan deadlines.

If a scheduled payment is not received on time, a $30 late fee will be applied per missed installment.

Recital Bundle Fee Policy

The non-refundable Recital Bundle Fee is $100.00 per student and is required for all students participating in our end-of-season recital, scheduled for the weekend of May 22nd and 23rd, 2026.

What’s Included:

This fee covers:
- 4 keepsake recital programs
- Recital video
- 1 recital t-shirt for the enrolled student
- Professional theatre rental for dress rehearsal and recital days
- Props, security personnel, and facility cleaning

Note: Recital tickets are not included in the Recital Bundle Fee.

Payment Options:

This fee may be paid in full upon registration, or split into the following payment plan:
- 5 consecutive monthly payments of $26 each (Total: $130.00)
- The first payment is due at the time of registration
- Subsequent payments are due by 11:59 PM EST on the 1st of each month, with no grace period

Late Payments:
- Any missed or late payment will incur a $30 late fee per installment.

Final Due Date:
- All Recital Bundle Fee payments must be completed by March 1, 2026.

Important: All accounts must be paid in full (including the Recital Bundle Fee) in order to select recital tickets.

Studio Conduct Policy

At Tip Toes and Taps, we are committed to maintaining a positive, respectful, and professional environment for all students, staff, and families. To ensure this, the following conduct guidelines must be followed:

~Communication and Concerns~
All concerns or issues must be addressed directly with Ms. Amber or Ms. Raelynn by appointment. We value open communication and are happy to discuss matters privately and respectfully.

~Respect and Behavior Expectations~
Students and their families are expected to demonstrate courtesy and respect at all times toward Tip Toes and Taps staff, volunteers, instructors, students, and fellow families—both inside and outside the studio.

Disrespectful behavior, spreading rumors, negative or damaging comments about the studio, its staff, performances, or other families—whether in person or online—will not be tolerated. Such behavior may result in immediate removal from classes, performances, or events without refund.

Instructors reserve the right to meet with students and parents to address inappropriate behavior, and students or families who repeatedly violate our conduct policy may be dismissed from the program.

~Facility Respect and Cleanliness~
Please treat our studio, premises, and all facilities where we hold classes and performances with care and respect. Clean up after yourself and dispose of trash properly.

Tip Toes and Taps is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. We encourage students to leave valuables at home.

Zero Tolerance Policy

We have a strict zero tolerance policy for:
- Theft
- Harassment or bullying (verbal, physical, or online)
- Vandalism
- Alcohol, tobacco, or drug use on or around studio property
Violations may result in immediate dismissal.

~Classroom Etiquette~
- Students are not permitted to dictate class structure, including barre placement, music choices, or class attire.

- All students must be welcoming and supportive of new students, guest artists, and visitors—both at our studio and when representing TT&T at outside events.

- Cell phones must be left at the front desk with Ms. Raelynn and silenced. No phones are allowed in the classroom or during rehearsals.

- Proper attire and hair must be worn to all classes and rehearsals. Students not in dress code may be asked to sit out without refund.

- No gum, food, or drinks (other than water) are allowed in studios. No street shoes, large jewelry, or distracting accessories.

- Dance shoes should not be worn outside. Please change into your dance shoes upon arrival to protect our floors and your footwear.

- No strong perfumes or body sprays should be worn. Deodorant and good hygiene are required.

- If glasses are worn, please ensure they are secure.

- Students should bring their own supplies such as tape, scissors, and band-aids. Our first-aid kit is for emergency use only.

- For safety reasons, children must not be left unattended in the facility unless prior arrangements have been made. Students should be picked up promptly after class.

~Touch in Dance and Tumbling~
Proper dance and tumbling instruction may involve appropriate physical contact between instructors and students to ensure correct alignment, positioning, and technique. If you have questions or concerns about this, please speak with Ms. Amber or Ms. Raelynn before the start of classes. Any concerns about inappropriate contact should be reported immediately.

Virtual Class Policy
Tip Toes and Taps, LLC reserves the right to transition from in-person instruction to virtual classes at any time if recommended by local authorities and/or the CDC. This decision may be made in response to unforeseen circumstances that impact the health, safety, or operational ability of our studio community.

We are committed to adhering to CDC-recommended safety protocols and will provide as much advance notice as possible should a temporary shift to virtual learning become necessary.

Voluntary Photo/Video Release Policy
I hereby grant Tip Toes and Taps, LLC full permission to use my and/or my minor child’s name, image, and/or video for lawful purposes, including but not limited to use on the studio’s website, social media platforms, promotional materials, advertising, communications, and other related media.

This consent includes images or videos taken during class, before or after class, at studio events, performances, dress rehearsals, or recitals—whether during or outside the regular session calendar. I authorize the studio’s director and/or management to use such content at their discretion, in whole or in part, and through any media or electronic platform.

I understand that I will not have the right to review or approve the final product or its specific usage, and I waive any claims to compensation or rights related to such use.

If you do NOT consent to the use of your child’s images or videos on social media, please notify the studio promptly by emailing us at info@tiptoesandtaps.net.

Withdrawal Policy
To withdraw from classes, the legal parent or guardian must provide written notice via email to info@tiptoesandtaps.net and complete the studio withdrawal form we will send. This notice must be submitted at least 30 days before your student’s final class during the months of August through December. If we do not receive this notice, you will be charged for every additional class your student remains listed on our roster.

If you choose to withdraw your child from classes between January 1st and the recital date, an early, non-refundable withdrawal fee of $300.00 will apply. Additionally, you will remain responsible for any outstanding costume fees. We kindly request that students not be withdrawn during this period, as it impacts teachers and other students involved in recital choreography.

If you have a special circumstance, such as military orders, please contact the studio. Proof of the circumstance will be required for a possible waiver of the withdrawal fee.
