By enrolling a student in Vibe Performing Arts and agreeing to these policies, the parent, legal guardian, or financially responsible party grants permission for the student to participate in all classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions, camps, workshops, and other activities sponsored by or associated with Vibe Performing Arts.

The parent or legal guardian acknowledges that participation in dance, acrobatics, tumbling, fitness activities, performances, and related physical activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, collisions, sprains, strains, fractures, illness, permanent disability, and, in rare circumstances, death. The parent or legal guardian voluntarily assumes all risks, both known and unknown, associated with the student's participation in such activities.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the parent or legal guardian, on behalf of themselves and the student, releases, waives, discharges, and agrees to hold harmless Vibe Performing Arts, its owners, directors, instructors, employees, independent contractors, volunteers, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or relating to the student's participation in studio activities, including claims alleging personal injury, property damage, illness, disability, or death, except to the extent caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct where such limitation is required by law.

The parent or legal guardian accepts full responsibility for any personal property brought onto studio premises or to studio-sponsored events and understands that Vibe Performing Arts is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

In the event of a medical emergency, the parent or legal guardian authorizes Vibe Performing Arts staff to obtain emergency medical treatment for the student when the parent or emergency contact cannot be reached. The parent or legal guardian agrees to be solely responsible for all medical expenses incurred as a result of such treatment.

The parent or legal guardian further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Vibe Performing Arts, its owners, instructors, employees, agents, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising from the student's participation in studio activities or the parent's violation of studio policies.

By completing registration and/or participating in studio activities, the parent or legal guardian acknowledges that they have carefully read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to the terms of this Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability.

Costume Fees

Kinder Acro and all Acro & Dance classes will have a costume fee.

2026 Recital Fee

The recital fee for the **2026 season** is **$100 per dancer**.

For families with more than one dancer participating, we offer a **discounted family rate of $180 total**.

This fee helps cover the cost of the venue, costumes, and production.

**Recital fees are non-refundable and are due on March 1, 2026.**

Parent and Student Code of Conduct

Vibe Performing Arts is committed to providing a safe, positive, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students, families, staff, and visitors. Enrollment at Vibe Performing Arts is a privilege, and all students, parents, legal guardians, family members, and guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that supports the studio's mission and values.

Respect for Staff and Students

All students, parents, guardians, family members, and guests shall treat instructors, staff, volunteers, students, and fellow families with courtesy and respect at all times.

The following behaviors are prohibited:

* Disruptive, disrespectful, intimidating, or aggressive behavior
* Harassment, bullying, discrimination, or retaliation of any kind
* Profanity, abusive language, threats, or inappropriate comments
* Gossip, slander, defamation, or the spreading of false information about the studio, its staff, students, or families
* Physical altercations, intimidation, or threatening conduct
* Interference with classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions, or studio operations

Communication Expectations

Parents and guardians are expected to address concerns in a professional and respectful manner. Concerns regarding classes, instructors, policies, or studio operations should be directed to studio management and not discussed with students, other parents, or on social media platforms.

Social Media Conduct

Families agree not to post, publish, or distribute content that is knowingly false, misleading, defamatory, harassing, or damaging to the reputation of Vibe Performing Arts, its staff, students, or families. Nothing in this policy is intended to restrict lawful rights; however, the studio reserves the right to address conduct that negatively impacts the safety, operations, or reputation of the studio community.

Facility and Property Respect

Students and families are expected to respect studio property, equipment, costumes, and facilities. Any intentional damage caused by a student or family member may result in financial responsibility for repair or replacement costs.

Student Behavior

Students are expected to:

* Follow instructor directions promptly
* Demonstrate good sportsmanship and teamwork
* Treat fellow students with kindness and respect
* Refrain from bullying, teasing, harassment, or exclusionary behavior
* Maintain appropriate conduct during classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions, and studio events

Safety Compliance

Students and families must comply with all studio safety rules, policies, and staff instructions. Conduct that creates a safety risk for students, staff, or visitors may result in immediate disciplinary action.

#### Disciplinary Action

Vibe Performing Arts reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to deny participation, suspend, or terminate the enrollment of any student or family whose behavior is determined to be disruptive, inappropriate, unsafe, abusive, or contrary to the best interests of the studio community.

No refunds, credits, or tuition adjustments will be issued in the event a student is suspended, removed, or dismissed from Vibe Performing Arts due to violations of this Code of Conduct or any studio policy.

By enrolling a student at Vibe Performing Arts, the parent, legal guardian, and student acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.

Financial Obligations and Payment Policy

By enrolling a student in Vibe Performing Arts, the parent, legal guardian, or financially responsible party agrees to pay all tuition, costume fees, recital fees, competition fees, registration fees, and any other charges associated with the student's participation in studio programs by the due dates established by Vibe Performing Arts.

All fees and charges are the responsibility of the parent, legal guardian, or financially responsible party, regardless of the student's attendance, participation level, withdrawal status, or any other circumstance unless otherwise stated in writing by Vibe Performing Arts.

Any account with an outstanding balance may result in the student's suspension from classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions, recitals, and any other studio activities until the account is brought current. Vibe Performing Arts reserves the right to withhold costumes, awards, recital materials, performance opportunities, and participation in studio events for accounts that are not paid in full.

The parent, legal guardian, or financially responsible party acknowledges and agrees that all amounts due under this agreement constitute a legal financial obligation. In the event of nonpayment, Vibe Performing Arts reserves the right to pursue all available remedies to collect outstanding balances, including referral to a collection agency, reporting the debt as permitted by law, and/or initiating legal proceedings. The financially responsible party agrees to pay all reasonable costs associated with collection efforts, including court costs, filing fees, collection agency fees, and attorney's fees to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Vibe Performing Arts reserves the right to deny future enrollment to any student whose account remains delinquent or whose family has previously failed to satisfy financial obligations owed to the studio.

By enrolling a student and/or signing the registration agreement, the parent, legal guardian, or financially responsible party acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to comply with this Financial Obligations and Payment Policy.

Tuition & Payment Policies

**Tuition Structure**

Tuition is based on the full program year, which runs from August through May. August tuition is prorated based on the studio start date. Tuition for September through May is billed at the full monthly rate. Tuition is an annual fee divided into monthly installments for the convenience of families and is not based on the number of classes attended in any given month. Therefore, tuition remains the same regardless of holidays, school breaks, recital preparation, recital dates, student absences, studio closures due to weather or emergencies, or any other scheduled or unscheduled interruptions.

**Tuition Due Date and Automatic Payments**

Monthly tuition is due on the 1st day of each month. By enrolling a student at Vibe Performing Arts, the parent, legal guardian, or financially responsible party authorizes Vibe Performing Arts to automatically charge the payment method on file for all tuition, fees, and other charges due under this agreement.

Unless an alternative payment method is received and approved by Vibe Performing Arts at least five (5) business days prior to the due date, tuition will be automatically processed on the 1st of each month and will be subject to a 3.25% processing fee. The financially responsible party is responsible for maintaining current and valid payment information at all times.

All checks must include the student's full name.

**Family Discount**

A monthly tuition discount of $10 will be applied for each additional child enrolled from the same immediate family. Vibe Performing Arts reserves the right to modify or discontinue discount programs at its discretion.

**Annual Prepayment Discount**

Families who pay all tuition, registration fees, costume fees, and any other required annual charges in full by September 1 shall receive a 10% discount on annual tuition. Annual prepayments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

**Late Payments**

Any balance not paid within ten (10) calendar days of the due date will be assessed a $20 late fee. Late fees may continue to accrue on delinquent accounts as permitted by law and studio policy.

**Returned Payments**

A $25 returned payment fee will be charged for any returned check, declined electronic payment, chargeback, or other rejected transaction. The financially responsible party remains responsible for the original payment amount as well as any applicable fees.

**Recital Fee**

The annual recital fee is due on March 1. Recital fees are non-refundable and must be paid in full by the due date in order for the student to participate in recital activities.

**Delinquent Accounts**

Students with outstanding or overdue balances may be suspended from classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions, recitals, and other studio activities until the account is brought current. Vibe Performing Arts reserves the right to withhold costumes, awards, recital materials, performance opportunities, and future enrollment for accounts that are not paid in full.

Failure to satisfy financial obligations owed to Vibe Performing Arts may result in collection efforts, referral to a collection agency, and/or legal action. The parent, legal guardian, or financially responsible party agrees to be responsible for all reasonable collection costs, court costs, filing fees, and attorney's fees to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Tuition, Fees, Refunds, and Withdrawal Policy

All tuition, registration fees, recital fees, costume fees, competition fees, and any other charges assessed by Vibe Performing Arts are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise required by applicable law. Once a payment has been processed, no refunds, credits, adjustments, or prorations will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to voluntary withdrawal, missed classes, illness, injury, scheduling conflicts, participation in sports or other extracurricular activities, vacations, holidays, inclement weather, school closures, transportation issues, dissatisfaction with a program, or a student's decision to discontinue participation.

Enrollment in any class, program, camp, workshop, performance, or event constitutes a financial commitment for the applicable payment period and reserves a space for the student. Vibe Performing Arts incurs expenses and allocates staffing, facilities, costumes, and resources based upon enrollment; therefore, payments remain due regardless of attendance or participation.

**Withdrawal Policy**

A student's enrollment shall remain active, and all applicable tuition and fees shall continue to accrue, until Vibe Performing Arts receives written notice of withdrawal from the student's parent, legal guardian, or financially responsible party.

Withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing by email or other approved written method designated by Vibe Performing Arts. Verbal notice, text messages, social media messages, or a student's statement of intent to withdraw shall not constitute official notice of withdrawal.

Tuition and fees will continue to be charged until written notice of withdrawal is received and processed by Vibe Performing Arts. The parent, legal guardian, or financially responsible party remains responsible for all charges incurred up to and including the effective date of withdrawal.

Withdrawal from the studio does not relieve the parent, legal guardian, or financially responsible party of any previously incurred financial obligations, including but not limited to unpaid tuition, costume fees, recital fees, competition fees, late fees, collection costs, attorney's fees, and other charges permitted by law.

Vibe Performing Arts reserves the right to suspend or terminate a student's participation for nonpayment; however, such suspension or termination shall not waive or cancel any outstanding financial obligations owed to the studio.
