Enrolment and Fees:
1. Full payment for the term is to be made before the commencement of each term unless prior arrangements have been agreed upon.
2. If payment is not received within the first week of the term, you will incur a late fee of $5. This charge will go up $5 each week until full payment has been made. If payment is not made by the end of week 4, the student/s will not be able to participate in classes until full payment (including late fee) is received.
3. If enrolled during term time (after term commencement), payment for the term is due 7 days after the invoice date.
4. A $8 administration fee will be added to all invoices.
5. If enrolment commences during the term, invoices will include a discount for each lesson missed before enrolment commenced.
6. Term fees are non-refundable, and if payment is not received within the agreed time period, you may lose your place in class.
7. There will be no refund of term fees if students decide to end enrolment after the first 2 weeks of classes.
8. No refunds will be given for travel, birthdays, holidays, school/family commitments, etc. Credit may be given for prolonged absence for Illness/injury/bereavement at our discretion.
9. Where classes fall on a public holiday, there will be no classes. No makeup classes or refunds will be given.
10. Timetable and term fees are subject to change at any time without notice.
11. Additional fees may apply for performances, exams and costumes.
12. Attendance is important for continued improvement. Please let us know prior to class if you are unable to attend. If you do miss class for any reason, we expect students to practice at home and potentially reach out to their teacher to find out what they missed.
13. It is the responsibility of the Student/Parent/Guardian to keep up to date with happenings at LivDance and read information sent in emails and posted on social media.
Safety:
1. Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn for class. For Jazz and Contemporary/Lyrical classes, we ask students to wear form-fitting clothing so that teachers can see their movements clearly. No school uniforms or excessive jewellery are allowed. Hair must be up and/or off the face.
2. LivDance is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal property.
3. Once students have left the dance room, LivDance will do its best, but cannot be responsible for student welfare or actions.
4. LivDance is not responsible for any personal injury sustained during class time. Parents/Guardians/Students should recognise that dance, by its nature, comes with the risk of injury or accident.
5. LivDance teachers are knowledgeable in dance safety and will actively try to minimise any chance of injury.
6. Parents/Guardians/Students are responsible for letting the teacher know about new injuries, treatment of existing injuries or any other concern before the commencement of class.
Privacy Policy:
1. Photos and videos taken during class time/performances/open week/events may be used on our website and other social media for advertising purposes without the consent of the student.
2. When enrolling at LivDance, parents/guardians/students are agreeing to permit the student to be photographed/videoed for advertising purposes online.
3. Your personal information will not be shared with any outside party.
Choreography:
1. All choreography for class and performances is the intellectual and artistic property of Olivia Morrison and LivDance and/or Asia Pacific Dance Association (APDA). Choreography must not be shared, copied or used without prior permission.
Dismissal:
1.LivDance reserves the right to terminate the enrolment of a student for any reason at our sole discretion. Should this happen, payment for classes not yet taken will be refunded.
