1. Our school year consists of 35 weekly class sessions from August through May. Some months have as few as two weeks; others have as many as five. Because you are paying the average, tuition will remain consistent regardless of scheduled breaks, holidays, weather closings, and/or student absences.
2. Monthly tuition is charged via AutoPay on the 1st of each month. AutoPay is required for enrollment. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and ACH transfers. Using a credit or debit card will incur a small processing fee.
3. Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of dancer attendance.
4. Any tuition or fees not paid by the 10th of the month will incur a $15 late fee, charged on the 11th of the month. Outstanding balances over 60 days may result in the student's removal from class(es). Students who are removed from classes and desire to re-enroll must pay any outstanding balance plus an additional registration fee to re-join the class; re-enrollment is subject to class availability.
5. If you decide to discontinue your classes for any reason, you are not obligated to pay for the balance of the school year; however, you will be responsible for any balance due. If a student needs to withdraw early from the season, a notification via e-mail must be sent by the 10th of the month to avoid charges on the next billing cycle.
6. RDS reserves the right to provide a substitute teacher if the regularly scheduled teacher is ill or otherwise unable to teach classes. If we cannot arrange a substitute, a make-up class will be scheduled.
7. Classes with fewer than five students may be canceled, combined, or rescheduled.
8. I understand and release to Rejoice Dance Studio the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use, reproduce, and publish photographs and/or videos of my child for editorial, trade, advertising, or any other purpose or manner and medium. I hereby release RDS and its owner, administrative staff, and instructors from any and all claims, actions, and liability relating to its use of said photographs. Any exception/objection must be submitted via email to contact@rejoicedancestudio.com prior to the start of each season so we can proactively prevent photos/videos from being taken of your child
Refund Policy:
1. No refunds or credit will be given for class cancellations due to poor weather, holidays, or temporary illness.
2. Student absences will not be refunded, nor can classes be made up. At this time we do not offer make-up classes for absences due to illness, travel, or other similar circumstances.
3. A student who is unable to take class due to prolonged illness or serious injury may have tuition credit applied to the following month or semester. These credit requests must be applied for in writing and be accompanied by a physician's confirmation of the student's inability to participate in class. To return to class, a dancer must have a written release from their physician.
Recital Policy:
- By participating in the Rejoice Dance Studio Recital, I agree to the below terms and conditions:
- I understand that recital performance fees ($75) and costume fees ($75 per costume) are non-refundable. I will be charged the fees the December prior to Recital, unless I notify Rejoice Dance Studio (RDS) in writing by November 30 that my child will not participate in recital.
- I understand regular class attendance is extremely important. Excessive absences or lateness to class will impede students' progress and could jeopardize their participation in the Recital.
- I understand that costumes might not fit my child perfectly and that I am responsible for making any appropriate alterations if needed, prior to the performance.
- I understand that tuition and fees must be current and not late in order for my child to perform.
- I understand it is my responsibility to check my e-mail for recital schedules and updates.
- I authorize and agree that RDS may take and use photographs and videos of me and/or my child for purposes of record keeping, advertising, and marketing. I understand that I do not have any rights to these photographs and videos and will not be compensated for them.
- Should any unnatural or natural event occur that prevents us from holding our Recital on the scheduled dates, it will be postponed until a later date.
- As the legal parent or guardian, I agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to my child(ren), other related family members, other invited guests, or myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I, my children, or those who I have invited to RDS events may experience or incur in connection with my child(ren)'s participation and or attendance at RDS events. On my behalf, and behalf of my children, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless RDS, its employees, agents, and representatives, including RDS event-related facility employees and their workplace of and from any claims, including all liabilities, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of RDS, its employees, agents, representatives, and RDS event-related facility employees. I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian and have the right to waive these rights.
