2026 Dance Camp Policies & Procedures Tuition & Payment Information Please read this section carefully—some tuition policies have changed. Tuition is $60 per dance camp (Monday–Friday). Additional classes for the same student are $35 per camp. If enrolling in a dance camp in a different month, tuition will be $60 for that camp. Payment Schedule - June Dance Camps: Auto-pay on the 3rd of the month - July Dance Camps: Auto-pay on the 1st of the month - Payments will be automatically withdrawn from your account through auto-pay If Your Payment Fails - You will receive an email notification - You must log in to your Parent Portal to complete payment in order to remain enrolled - Payments received after the 5th of the month will incur a $15 late fee - Tuition is non-refundable, including absences or weather-related closures Arrival, Departure & Student Supervision - Students age 10 and under must be walked into the studio and supervised until they enter class - Most classes are 55 minutes—please be prompt for pickup - We do not offer supervision between classes and do not use a check-in/check-out system For the Safety of All Students - Children must be picked up promptly at the end of class - Staff are not available to supervise outside of class time - Repeated late pickups will result in a warning and may lead to dismissal from the program Class Observation We do not have viewing windows; however, we will periodically invite parents into class. - Lobby monitors are available for viewing our upstairs classroom - Please do not enter classrooms unless invited by the instructor - Parents, siblings, and guests are not permitted in classrooms during class time Restroom Use Please have your child use the restroom before class begins, especially Tiny Tots. We have two restrooms upstairs and two downstairs, including one in a dance room. Dress Code & Dance Store We understand many students are trying dance for the first time! If you do not have dance attire or shoes, please wear comfortable clothing and go barefoot. - Hair must be pulled back and secured away from the face - Leggings or dance shorts may be worn over a leotard (not for ballet classes) - Acrobat students should not wear skirts or leotards with attached skirts Dance Store Available Dance shoes, tights, leotards and other accessories. Conduct & General Policies Code of Conduct In His Steps reserves the right to dismiss any student or parent whose behavior is inappropriate or disrespectful toward students, staff, or property. General Guidelines - No food or gum in dance rooms - Students must be supervised when not in class - IHS staff are not responsible for students outside of class time - Pick up students promptly after class - Guests must remain in the lobby and be respectful - Please keep noise to a minimum in common areas - Do not move or stand on lobby chairs or operate upstairs doors - Clean up after yourself in all studio spaces - No one is permitted in dance rooms without an instructor present - In His Steps Dance Studio is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings.
