Defy Gravity Waiver
Defy Gravity is an over 18’s studio and confirms you are of age. Students who are under the age of 18 will need written permission from a parent or guardian to attend class.
A deposit needs to be paid upon booking and fee’s need to be finalised by mid way through the term. Fees are non refundable and non - transferable between terms. Late fees will apply for any overdue fees.
All catch up classes must be used in the same term and cannot be carried over to the following term. If you do not use your catch ups in the same term they cannot be refunded or credited.
Prior to attending a class/course at Defy Gravity, you agree to provide us with your full name, phone number, address, email address and next of kin contact details in case of emergency. By providing your contact details, you agree to subscribe to our mailing list to receive emails, texts, and updates from Defy Gravity.
Teachers and classes may be subject to change without notice. If a class is cancelled you may be asked to choose another class. Defy Gravity takes all reasonable care in the conduct of its classes.
By entering our dance studio you agree that Defy Gravity is in no way responsible for injury or loss caused during classes or whilst participants are at or near the studio.
You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically and medically fit for the class/course in which you are enrolled. During the class you must take care at all times of your own personal safety and inform the instructor of any physical limitations you may have. It is not advisable for pregnant women to participate in a dancing program without medical clearance.
Should you have a pre existing medical condition or in doubt as to your suitability for this program, we recommend you consult your physician for medical clearance.
You must monitor the safekeeping or your personal belongings while attending class, Defy Gravity does not take responsibility for lost or stolen property.
You understand that classes at Defy Gravity may be physically strenuous and you voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is a risk of personal injury, property loss or death.
You agree that you will not sue or make any other claim of any kind whatsoever against Defy Gravity it’s directors/owners, instructors, independent contractors or employees, for any personal injury, property loss of damage, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
Defy Gravity is a COVID Safe business and will be following all government COVID hygiene and sign in guidelines . All students and instructors are required to follow these hygiene guidelines when entering and leaving the studio. The instructor will be the designated COVID Marshall.
You agree to the following practices and guidelines in line with the Defy Gravity Safe Plan.
You have not travelled overseas in the past 14 days
You do not feel unwell or have flu like symptoms and will not attend class if you are unwell
You have not had contact with anyone who is unwell or has tested positive to COVID 19
You will sign in to all classes you attend using the QR code
You will show your vaccine passport upon registration
You WILL disclose at positive COVID 19 test result to Defy Gravity management
You will follow the hygiene and safety guidelines Defy Gravity management has outlined (including social distancing, ensuring personal hygiene practices and cleaning protocols are followed)
