Behavior & Safety
For the safety of all students, children must be able to follow basic verbal instructions with minimal support. If a child requires ongoing verbal or physical assistance to participate safely, they may not be suited for class.
Immediate removal from class may occur if a child exhibits disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe behavior, including but not limited to:
Hitting, biting, spitting, pushing
Name-calling or disrespectful language/gestures
Leaving designated areas or running indoors
Damaging or intentionally mishandling studio property
Rise Dance Company will notify families after a first behavioral incident. If the behavior continues, the child may be unenrolled at the instructor’s discretion. Partial refunds may be issued for unused REC classes only. Fees such as performance, costume, and registration are non-refundable (see full policy for details).
If your child has specific individualized needs, please contact us before registering so we can plan appropriate accommodations (e.g., physical modifications, medical concerns, or in-class support).
