Contract & Liability WAIVER 2025-2025 Season
Coppermine, Relevé Dance & TwirlTasTix Baton Twirling, (Copp/RD/TTT) have contract guidelines for our program that are required to be agreed to by the Parent or Guardian of the student(s) from your family in our program.
REGISTRATION AGREEMENT
ON THE FIRST DAY OF EACH MONTH TUITION WILL AUTOMATICALLY PROCESS. Please make sure your accounts are funded.
LATE FEE: If your account declines a $10 fee will be added to your account. You will be notified and the monthly tuition will be reprocessed on the 3rd day of the month. If your account declines again the fee will be $25 for each occurrence after.
No Cancellation after November 15th due to several sunk costs for the Recital. Full tuition and Recital fees will be due as outlined below.
Recital date is currently set for May 23rd but is subject to change if unforeseen circumstances arise.
NO REFUNDS.
Conduct: Student(s) and family members understand and agree that they must follow all lawful instructions or direction from Copp/RD/TTT and its teachers, instructors, volunteers and staff while receiving instruction and that failure to do so may result in Student being asked to leave the Copp/RD/TTT premises. There is no tolerance for any verbal or physical abuse or harassment including anything online. Behavior of this nature will lead to immediate action, possible dismissal and potentially legal action.
Lateness: A student arriving more than 10 minutes late to class or practices may be asked to sit and observe. This is at the discretion of the teacher. Consistently arriving late or leaving early may lead to dismissal from the class or team. Any issues with consistent attendance should be discussed with the Director.
Sole Studio: Coppermine, Relevé Dance & TwirlTasTix Baton welcomes all students to study at Copp/RD/TTT; however, students should focus their studies on one studio. This ensures consistent training and will encourage dancer to progress quicker. Copp/RD/TTT does not recommend students taking classes at more than one private dance studio unless it is a class not offered in our program, in which case, we request notification of the other classes taken. Students are welcome to attend class at Copp/RD/TTT as a visiting student (with visiting student's studio approval) but must follow the policies in place for Copp/RD/TTT. Also, there are benefits of taking workshops, clinics, and camps but we request you inform us in advance before you register for one of these options, so we can be aware of the situation, as well as help advise on which offerings are good.
Attire: Students must wear proper dance wear to class. Any student dressed inappropriately for class can be asked to sit and observe. Attire Requirements are on the website and sent as an attachment in your Welcome email.
Level 1 & 2 Dance Classes: Pink leotard with any sleeve options, Pink tights, Pink Ballet Shoes
Level 3 and Other Dance Classes(not Hip Hop, Acro or Musical Theatre) : Black leotard with any sleeve options, Pink tights, Pink Ballet Shoes
Hip Hop, Acro & Baton Classes: Any Solid Color leotard, or fitted cami or tank. with fitted Solid Color bike shorts or leggings. NO T-shirts or Sweatshirts may be worn during Baton or Acro class. Tights are optional, Jazz Shoes
Dance Team: Ballet/PrePointe - Black leotard, tie around skirt is optional, pink footed tights, pink canvas split sole ballet shoe.
Jazz - Black leotard, pink or black tights, biker shorts optional, black Bloch Pulse jazz shoes
Tap - Black leotard, pink or black tights, biker shorts optional, hard toed, tie black tap shoes
Lyrical - Black leotard, pink or black tights, biker shorts optional, pink canvas split sole ballet shoe, or footpads.
Competitive Baton Teams: Team Tank, or Team Practice Cami, or any Solid Color leotard, or fitted cami or tank. with fitted Solid Color bike shorts or leggings. NO T-shirts or Sweatshirts may be worn during class. Tights are optional, Jazz Shoes
Dangling or loose jewelry should not be worn in any class. Students with pierced ears should only wear post earrings. Hanging earrings or hoops are not safe to wear in a class. Any other type of body piercing should not be worn to class if visible to the instructor. Students who choose to have body piercings can be asked to remove any and all piercings for any performance or rehearsal event. Students may be asked to cover any visible tattoos.
Hair must be secured away from the student's face. Students with hair touching the shoulders should have their hair in a bun. All other students must have their hair pulled back in a secure fashion.
Extremely long nails are a hazard to the dancers as well as fellow dancers and twirlers. Students should keep nails cut to a length no longer than right above the finger tip. Students can be asked to cut their nails if they are longer than requested. This applies to real or fake nails. Please be considerate of your fellow dancers, long nails hurt.
Gum is a choking hazard!!!! Students must not chew gum in class. It is prohibited.
Only teachers are allowed in classroom with students, unless otherwise advised by teacher. If there is a behavior problem, the teacher should be the one to address the problem. If a parent believes the issue is not being handled correctly, parent may attempt to speak to the teacher after class has ended. If the problem remains unresolved, parent should contact studio director.
Late fees or failed payments fees: If Coppermine, Relevé Dance & TwirlTasTix Baton, receives a notice that payment cannot be applied to account or payment did not go through, family will have one week to update billing information to allow payment to go through. A $10 fee will be assessed for the first failed payment and a $25 fee will be assessed if a second, third or additional payment is processed and fails to go through, unless there is a problem on the processing side of the transaction, or an arrangement is made to get the payment resolved. If after one week the account remains past due, teacher will be notified that student should be asked to sit and observe class until they are notified otherwise. If after two weeks of non-payment, account has not been corrected, the student will be removed from class roster. All billing questions should be addressed with owner and can be emailed at studio email address, twirltastixreleve@gmail.com. Teachers are not involved in billing and thus billing questions must be handled with owner.
Parents must notify Coppermine, Relevé Dance & TwirlTasTix Baton, in writing 10 days in advance if their child wishes to withdraw from dance class. Billing will continue until the termination is confirmed in writing by both parties for the year. The family remains financially responsible for all billing until a written notice is sent regarding withdrawal from classes. This can be done via email. An acknowledgement will be sent back within 5 days of receipt of termination notification from Coppermine, Relevé Dance & TwirlTasTix Baton, regarding any class withdrawals before withdrawal is considered complete. If notification is received within 25 days of billing, then the family will be responsible for that billing period.
Coppermine, Relevé Dance & TwirlTasTix Baton, offers no refunds - (any in-full payments, monthly class fees or costumes and/or additional fees are non-refundable and non-transferable).
Right to Cancel: Coppermine, Relevé Dance & TwirlTasTix Baton, reserves the right to cancel any class that does not have at least 4 students at any point in time. If a class is discontinued due to low registration, billing will also be terminated.
Name, Image, Likeness: Coppermine, Relevé Dance & TwirlTasTix Baton, reserves the right to use any the name, image and likeness, including photography, video, recordings or any other record of event or class for publicity, advertising or any other promotional purpose. If anyone does not want their child to be in any name, image or likeness presentations on behalf of the studio, we must be notified in writing before classes begin.
Lost or Stolen Property: Coppermine, Relevé Dance & TwirlTasTix Baton, is not responsible for any belongings left or stolen in the studio or outside of the studio.
Emergency Procedures: Coppermine, Relevé Dance & TwirlTasTix Baton, is granted permission to act for all students according to their best judgment, if an emergency situation may require medical attention for a child/student involved in an activity/class at Coppermine Relevé Dance & TwirlTasTix Baton. It is acknowledged that dance, baton twirling, acro and other classes, as with any physical activity, have inherent risks and by registering for classes, student/family of student agree this is a risk they are aware of and wish to register for classes with full knowledge of the inherent risks. By each and every registering family/student, completing registration, Coppermine, Relevé Dance & TwirlTasTix Baton, is completely released and all liability is waived to hold Coppermine, Relevé Dance & TwirlTasTix Baton, and its owners, along with all instructors and independent contractors hired by Coppermine, Relevé Dance & TwirlTasTix Baton, from any legal responsibility/or any monetary compensation for any injury or illness of students attending activity/classes or traveling to and or from classes or competitions or performances. It is understood that all medical and related expenses incurred will be the sole responsibility of the student or student's family.
Incident Report: An incident report must be recorded and submitted to the studio management by all persons involved of any injury that occurs during a class or in our around the studio or classes. An incident is defined as any significant injury, or verbal or physical incident that causes harm to a person, including a cyber event (such as bullying).
No Refunds: Coppermine, Relevé Dance & TwirlTasTix Baton, offers no refunds - any in-full payments, monthly class fees or costumes and/or additional fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. It is understood that this agreement shall be binding upon the dancers and the parents for the benefit of Christine Zoll, owner/director of Relevé Dance & TwirlTasTix Baton, LLC, her successors and assigns.
TUITION and FEES
TUITION WILL PROCESS AUTOMATICALLY THE FIRST WEEK OF EACH MONTH for 10 tuition payments beginning Sept 2 (or on the day you register) through June 1, covering the 10+ months of classes.
NO CANCELLATIONS AFTER DECEMBER 31ST DUE TO FIXED COSTS FOR THE RECITAL
Notification will be emailed 1-3 days before monthly payments are run.
-PAYMENTS RUN FULL YEAR(SEPTEMBER THROUGH JUNE) Summer sessions are separate.
- TUITION IS DIVIDED evenly OVER the months,10 months.
Breaks: Holiday and Spring breaks are built into the program, but tuition does not fluctuate month to month based on breaks. Makeup classes and opportunities to get extra time in are provided to minimize time lost during breaks, family vacations or illnesses.
RECITAL FEES (Esitmated)
Costumes: ALL CLASSES & TEAMS will need costumes for recitals, competitions and various performances. COSTUME FEES - $50 deposit per costume in LATE NOVEMBER, balance due upon ordering of costumes (approximately mid-January to late February) . Total cost is estimated to be between $55-$85 per costume.
Recital: RECITAL FEES will be due in mid-December and mid-April. $150 total(estimated), for two payments of $75(estimated) for the first child. Any additional children will have $45 per child charged for each half of the recital fee. The Recital Fee includes: 1 Adult ticket, 1 Award, 1 Recital t-shirt, 1 Basic Picture Package, and 1 Message for the Recital Program. Additional tickets, pictures and t-shirts may be purchased separately.

Late November: Costume Deposit Due, $50 per costume
Mid-December: 1st half of Recital Fee due, $75 (estimated)
Mid-January thru late February: Costume balances due
Mid-April: 2nd half of Recital Fee Due: $75 (Estimated)
WEATHER RELATED CLOSINGS: WE DO NOT FOLLOW SCHOOL SYSTEMS. You will receive an email if we need to cancel classes for the day. Most evening decisions are made by 4pm.
Make Up Classes: MAKE-UPS ARE AVAILABLE FOR MISSED CLASSES DUE TO WEATHER - IF WISHING TO MAKE UP, CONTACT STUDIO VIA EMAIL AND POSSIBLE CLASSES TO MAKE UP IN WILL BE EMAILED.
Private or One on One Training: Available upon request. Discuss with the Director to set up.
Assumption of the Risk and Waiver of Liability
Assumption of risk: There are potential illnesses that have been identified as risky to public health. They can be contagious and spread from person-to-person contact. When required, federal, state, and local governments and federal and state health agencies recommend social distancing and have, in many locations, prohibited the congregation of groups of people, to help slow the spread of the disease.
Coppermine, Relevé Dance & TwirlTasTix Baton Twirling, (Copp/RD/TTT) has instituted measures in an attempt to prevent the spread of illness. However, Copp/RD/TTT cannot, and expressly does not guarantee the students will not become infected as a result of receiving instruction in person. Furthermore, given the nature of the instruction, close contact between students and teachers, and even other students, cannot be avoided.
By signing this agreement, I acknowledge the contagious nature of all illnesses and voluntarily assume the risk that my (child)ren and I may be exposed to or infected by attending classes at Coppermine - Relevé Dance & TwirlTasTix Baton, and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability and death. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by any illness at Copp/RD/TTT may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to Copp/RD/TTT staff, instructors, volunteers, other students and their families.
I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to my (child)ren or myself (including, but not limited to personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense of any kind, that I or my child(ren) may experience or incur in connection with my child(ren)’s attendance at Copp/RD/TTT or participating in Copp/RD/TTT programs (Claims). On my behalf, and on behalf of my children, heirs, estate, personal representatives, and successors, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Copp/RD/TTT, its staff, instructors, volunteers, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes my Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Copp/RD/TTT, agents, staff, instructors, volunteers and representatives, whether an illness or infection occurs before, during, or after participation in Copp/RD/TTT classes or programs.
If a situation arises due to pandemic, government order or any unforeseen circumstance where classes must be transferred to an online ZOOM version, Coppermine, Relevé Dance/TwirlTasTix Baton Twirling will implement ZOOM classes, instead of in person classes. Once the circumstances change to allow in person classes, in person classes will resume.
I have had sufficient opportunity to read this entire document. I have read and understood it, and I agree to be bound by its terms.
