of Dance Policies

Tuition/Payments
â— The studio accepts checks, cash online credit/debit cards and ACH
as payments.
â—‹ Credit/debit card payments are made online via the Parent Portal
and subjected to a 3.05% convenience fee and an additional $0.30
merchant fee.
â—‹ ACH payments are made online via the Parent Portal and
subjected to a 0.80% convenience fee.
â— All payments for registration, tuition, costumes, logo wear and dance
attire are non-refundable.
◠All statements are available in the Wempners’ School of Dance Parent
Portal. No paper statements will be mailed or handed out unless
requested.
â— A registration fee will be charged to the dancer's account at the time of
online registration. The current fee is $20 for an individual and $35 for a
family.*

â— Tuition payments are made in four quarterly payments or one yearly
payment.

â— A 5% discount will be applied to full-year tuition payments when paid in
full ON or BEFORE the 1st day of classes (September 8, 2023).
â—‹ Please contact Ann Kelly-Studio Owner if you wish to take
advantage of the yearly discount.
◠Wempners’ also offers a family discount of 5%.
â—‹ *A family is defined as two or more IMMEDIATE family members
(Ex. parent and child/children, or siblings).
â— Family discounts and yearly tuition discounts can be combined.
Please Note: Tuition is figured per student.
â—‹ Ex. Claire takes 1 hour a week ($80.75 quarterly) & Abby takes 3 hours a week
($161.50 quarterly), so 80.75 + 161.50 = $240.25 quarterly would be the correct
Family Tuition owed.
â— All outstanding balances must be paid in full before enrolling in the
next dance season.
â— Balances over $200 that carry over from past seasons are required to be
paid off in full and are required to enroll in autopay with a credit/debit
card or ACH via the Parent Portal.
â— Quarterly tuition must be paid within 14 days of the due date and are
subject to a $20 per student late fee.
â—‹ Dancers may be asked to sit and watch class until tuition is
received.
â— No purchased logo wear, dance attire, and costumes will be sent home
until student balances are paid in full.
â— The studio owner has the discretion to ask any family/dancer to enroll in
autopay as they deem appropriate due to delinquent or reoccurring late
payments.

Attendance
◠Wempners’ appreciates contact when a student will be absent or late.
â— After three absences with no contact, a phone call or email home will
be made.
â— Teachers have the right to remove a dancer from a dance due to
excessive absences, especially after January when recital pieces are
being worked on. A phone call will be made to the parent/dancer in this
case.
Drop Off/Pick Up
â— It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that students ages 4 through 9 be walked
up to the 3rd floor dance studio and picked up from the 3rd floor for
their classes. (The building’s 1st floor is offices and the 2nd floor is
apartments).
â— We suggest that all dancers wait on the 3rd floor for their rides and not
in the 1st-floor lobby.
â— Please do not drop dancers off more than 15 minutes before their
starting time.
â— We appreciate the promptness with dancer pick-up.

Class Cancellations
â— In case of bad weather, all class cancellations will be announced on
Sunny 97.7 & KFIZ, posted on our Facebook page and mentioned on
the studio answering machine. We will try our best to send out a text
and email also.
â— Dance classes will be canceled if the Fond du Lac public schools close
or have early dismissal due to weather.
â— Dance classes not be rescheduled or refunded due to weather-related
closings.
â— Students may at any time attend a class of their same level to make up
for missed classes (if available).
Photography/Videography
◠Any photos or videos taken by Wempners’ staff at the studio will be for
studio use only. This includes promotional materials, advertising, social
media accounts, and the studio's website.
â— If you would like to opt out of any studio photos, please change
that setting in your Parent Portal account.
â— Parents/guardians may take photos and videos of their dancers only.

Anti-Bullying
◠Wempners’ School of Dance will NOT tolerate bullying in any form;
physical, emotional, social, or otherwise. Please report any bullying to a
Wempners’ staff member so it can be handled as soon as possible.
â—‹ 1st instance: The Dancer will be talked to by the teacher and studio owner.
â—‹ 2nd instance: Phone call home to parent/guardian will be made
by the studio owner.
â—‹ 3rd instance: dismissal from the dance studio (no refunds).
