Tuition & Payment Policy

By registering for classes at Kim Jay Dance Company, families acknowledge and agree to the following tuition and payment policies.

###Tuition Payments

Tuition is billed monthly and is due on the **1st of each month**. Tuition reserves the student's place in their registered class(es) for the season.

Monthly tuition remains the same regardless of the number of classes held during a particular month. Tuition has already been calculated with scheduled studio closures, holidays, and breaks in mind.

Tuition is not prorated or refunded for student absences, including illness, vacations, scheduling conflicts, or other personal reasons.

### Payment Methods & Autopay

Families may make tuition payments through their Studio Pro account using the available payment options.

**Automatic payments are optional and are not required for enrollment.** Families who do not enroll in autopay are responsible for logging into their account and submitting tuition payments by the applicable deadlines.

Families who choose to enroll in automatic payments are responsible for keeping their payment information current.

### Late Fee, Past-Due Tuition & Suspension

Tuition is due on the **1st of each month**.

Any tuition balance that remains unpaid **after the 15th of the month will be assessed a $15 late fee.**

Families have until the **last day of the month to pay their outstanding balance in full**, including any applicable late fees.

If the full outstanding balance has not been paid by the end of the month, the student **may not return to classes beginning the following month.** The student's enrollment will be temporarily placed on hold until the account is brought current.

### Removal for Nonpayment

If the **full outstanding balance has not been cleared within the first two weeks of the following month**, the student will be **dropped from their classes and removed from enrollment for the season.**

Once a student has been dropped for nonpayment, their previous class placement is no longer guaranteed.

If the family wishes to return, they must **re-register for the season** and will be subject to current class availability, waitlists, registration requirements, and any applicable fees.

Payment of a past-due balance after a student has been dropped does not automatically restore the student's previous class placement.

### Enrollment Commitment

Registration reserves a space in the selected class. Families are financially responsible for tuition while the student remains enrolled, regardless of attendance.

**Simply stopping attendance does not constitute withdrawal from a class and does not stop tuition charges.**

Families wishing to discontinue a class must follow Kim Jay Dance Company's official withdrawal procedure. Tuition will continue to be charged until the withdrawal has been properly submitted and processed.

### Refunds & Credits

Tuition payments are **non-refundable and non-transferable** once charged.

Refunds or account credits are not provided for missed classes, vacations, personal scheduling conflicts, or a student's decision not to attend.

If Kim Jay Dance Company cancels a class and a make-up class or reasonable alternative cannot be provided, the studio will determine whether an appropriate account credit should be issued.

### Class Changes

Requests to add, drop, or switch classes are subject to availability and must be approved by Kim Jay Dance Company.

Moving from one class to another may result in a tuition adjustment depending on the length and/or cost of the new class.

### Studio Closures

Tuition is not reduced for scheduled holidays, studio breaks, or closures already included in the season calendar.

In the event of an unexpected closure, Kim Jay Dance Company may provide a make-up class, alternative instruction, or another reasonable accommodation when appropriate.

### Family Responsibility

Parents and guardians are responsible for reviewing their Studio Pro account regularly and ensuring that tuition and any other applicable charges are paid on time.
