REGISTRATION
The Blairsville Dance Project 2026-27 school year includes 35 weeks of scheduled classes, with the summer session immediately following. One Enrollment application must be completed for each family. All classes have limited space; therefore registration is conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. The registration fee will not be applied until space is confirmed for your student. To complete registration, a registration fee and first month’s tuition must be received.
TUITION AND FEES
Tuition and fees must be paid before a student is admitted to a lesson. Payment may be made by cash, check, or credit card, either in person, by phone, online, or by mail.
Registration Fee: There is an annual non-refundable registration fee for all lessons. First-time students pay a $50 annual registration fee. Returning students who pre-register do not pay a registration fee. Returning students who do not pre-register are subject to the $50 registration fee. The fee is due at the time of registration with a completed for each new and returning student.
Payment: Tuition is calculated on an annual basis. For convenience, we offer an installment plan in which a student may make 10 equal monthly payments.
For 2026-27 registrants, payment is due the eighth of every month. Unless otherwise arranged with the director, tuition is considered late if it is not paid by the 10th of the month and is subject to a $10 late fee. All students with a 25-day balance on their accounts will not be allowed to participate in classes or performances, unless approved by the director. Annual payment in full will receive a 10% discount.
WITHDRAWALS OR REFUNDS
You may withdraw from classes during the season, but a 30-day notice by email or in writing is required. In the event of a prolonged illness or injury that requires medical care, a pro-rated refund will be made (up to, but not exceeding 50% of tuition paid during illness) provided that written medical verification is presented to the studio. There will be no refunds for voluntary withdrawal, missed classes, sports seasons, holidays, vacations, or lack of interest. Recital and costume deposits are non-refundable.
ATTENDANCE
Regular attendance is essential for classroom progress to be made. Students need to arrive at the studio no more than 10 minutes before class and are expected to use good manners and respectful behavior towards waiting parents, other students, and staff. Students need to be picked up promptly after class. If there happens to be a problem or change with pick up, please let us know as soon as possible. Dancers need to be at the studio and in class on time. Warm-ups are important to reduce the chance of injury, and students should be in class on time to participate.
CLASS ASSIGNMENT
Dancers will be assigned to an appropriate class based on age and skill level and are promoted on an individual basis determined by the instructor.
APPEARANCE AND ATTIRE
Students are required to be dressed correctly when they attend class. To properly execute turns, leaps, and routines, dancers must have on the appropriate attire. Dancers should also have their hair pulled back and secured so that it does not get in their face during class. All mandatory clothing and shoe needs are listed on the Parent Portal. BDP does sell dancewear and supplies.
