REGISTRATION
The Blairsville Dance Project 2024/2025 dance year includes 35 weeks of membership for families, with the summer session immediately following. One enrollment application must be completed for each family. Late registration membership will be pro-rated. All classes have limited space; therefore membership is conducted on a first-come, first-serve basis. The registration fee will not be applied until a space is confirmed for your student. In order to finalize your membership, a registration fee and the first month's tuition must be received.
TUITION AND FEES
Tuition and fees must be paid before a student is admitted to a lesson. Payment may be made by cash, check, or credit card, in person, by phone, online, or by mail.
Registration Fee: There is an annual non-refundable registration fee for all lessons. The fee is due at the time of registration with completion for each new and returning student.
Payment: Tuition is calculated on an annual basis. For convenience, we offer an installment plan in which a student may make 10 monthly payments. Each payment is 10% of the annual tuition. The first payment is due at registration and the remaining payments are due the first class of September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April, and May. Unless otherwise arranged with the director, tuition is considered late if it is not paid by the 20th of the month. Tuition that has not been paid by the 20th of the month is subject to a $10 late fee. All students with a 25-day balance on their accounts will not be allowed to participate in classes or performances unless approved by the director. Annual payments in full will receive a 10% discount.
WITHDRAWALS OR REFUNDS
Refund requests must be made in writing. In the event of a prolonged illness or injury that requires medical care, a prorated refund will be made (up to, but not exceeding 50% of
tuition paid during illness) provided that written medical verification is presented to the studio. There will be no refunds for voluntary withdrawal, missed classes, sports seasons, holidays, vacations, or lack of interest. Recital and costume deposits are non-refundable.
LIABILITY WAIVER
As a participant, or as a parent/guardian/visitor of a participant of Blairsville Dance Project programs, I recognize and acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury and I agree to assume full risk of any injuries, including damages, death or loss which may be sustained as a result of participation in any activities connected with Blairsville Dance Project. I agree to waive and relinquish all claims against Blairsville Dance Project, its owner, staff, and contractors from any and all claims resulting from participation in the program whether arising out of or resulting from my or their participation in activities, use of “Studio” or any other dance facility or equipment, parking lots, premises and facilities. In case of accidents or sickness, I consent to temporary first aid for myself or my child to be rendered by staff and/or emergency medical care to be provided by ambulance or hospital personnel. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS Blairsville Dance Project, their officers, officials, agents, and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct classes and events, WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL ILLNESS, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law. This release applies for any date in the future (including today’s date) that I, or participating minor(s), may visit “Studio.”
