1. Acknowledgment of Risk
I understand that participation in dance classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions, and related activities at Kast Academy involves physical movement and carries inherent risks, including but not limited to: slips, falls, muscle strains, sprains, collisions, and other injuries. I acknowledge that these risks cannot be completely eliminated.

2. Assumption of Responsibility
I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur as a result of participation in Kast Academy activities, whether on-site, off-site, or during travel for events.

3. Release of Liability
I hereby release, waive, and discharge Kast Academy, its owners, instructors, staff, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or connected with participation in studio activities, including negligence claims to the fullest extent permitted by law.

4. Medical Authorization
In the event of an emergency, I authorize Kast Academy staff to seek medical treatment for the participant. I understand that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

5. Photo & Video Release
I grant permission for Kast Academy to photograph or record the participant during classes, events, or performances for promotional, marketing, and archival purposes.

6. Studio Policies Agreement
I agree to follow all Kast Academy studio policies, including attendance expectations, dress code, behavior guidelines, tuition payments, and competition rules. I understand that failure to comply may result in suspension or removal from the program.

7. Financial Responsibility
I understand that tuition, fees, costumes, competition expenses, and other charges must be paid on time. I acknowledge that missed classes are non-refundable and that late fees may apply.

8. Parent/Guardian Responsibilities (for minors)
I agree to support my child’s participation by ensuring timely arrival, proper attire, respectful behavior, and adherence to studio rules. I understand that parents/guardians are not permitted to disrupt classes or interfere with instruction.

9. Agreement Term
This waiver is valid for the 2026–2027 dance season, including summer intensives, workshops, competitions, and performances.
