Tuition Policy
All tuition is paid through autopay. Every account is required to enroll in autopay. You are responsible for making sure you have a sufficient payment method on file. You may use a checking account, credit, or debit card. You can update this through your parent portal, or we can help you in the office. Tuition is calculated by the month, not by the number of classes. Some months have more classes, some months have fewer classes. Tuition is due on the first day of each month and will be autodrafted on that date. If your payment method on file does not process for whatever reason, there will be a $5 fee. We will contact you for an alternate form of payment at that time. If no payment has been made by the 3rd of the month, a $10 late fee will be added to the account in addition to the $5 no process fee. Any Non Substantial Funds your bank may charge, if any, will be added to your account. There will be a $10 late fee added for each additional week tuition is not paid. Additionally, tuition must be paid up to date to receive costumes or purchase or receive complimentary tickets for performances. If a student drops a class, notice must be received IN WRITING, delivered by hand to the office, by the 15th of the month, to avoid autodraft on the first of the following month. There is no tuition refund for non attendance.

Costume Fees for Spring Recital
2025-2026
Dancers will be measured in October for costumes for the Spring Recital. Younger dancers will have inches added to their measurement to account for growth. We have many years of experience in fitting dancers in costumes. We will do our best to make sure your dancer has a costume that fits. Sometimes things are out of our control that may prevent certain sizes from being available. In these cases, we always try to go up a size. In some cases, alterations may be needed. Any alterations and costs associated with alterations are your responsibility. Studio M is NOT RESPONSIBLE for tailoring or alteration fees. Costume fees are due October 13, 2025. We will not autodraft this fee. We can process it with your payment method on file, but we will not do so without your express permission. You can pay this fee at your convenience in installments if you would like. Just call or stop by the office, and we will help you. Once costumes are ordered, there are NO REFUNDS.

Attendance
Dance at Studio M is a commitment, August through May. Specific contracts will be issued to dancers in Nutcracker, Christmas Tap Spectacular, Jazz & Hip Hop Showcase, and Irish Festival. In general, dancers are expected to attend all classes. If a dancer must miss due to severe illness or scheduling conflict, a PARENT OR GUARDIAN must call in BEFORE the miss to excuse the dancer. If a dancer does not feel great but can come and watch a class, that is encouraged. Excessive absences may result in the dancer being dropped from the class or removed from the Performance. This is at the teacher’s discretion. Older dancers, especially in 7th grade and above, need to make up missed classes IN ADVANCE of the miss if possible. Those dancers need to visit with their teacher to arrange a make up class, if available. If a student drops a class, notice must be received IN WRITING, delivered by hand to the office, by the 15th of the month, to avoid autodraft on the first of the following month. There is no tuition refund for non attendance.
