Fees
You are responsible for all fees according to each class you are registered. Fees are due on the 2nd of the month, September through April. Registration fee, recital fee, competition fee per student is due at the time of registration.
July/August: $30 registration fee (non-refundable)
July/August: $50 recital fee per student – max $150 per family
July/August: $100 competition fee – max $250 per family
September: $40 Costume Deposit (non-refundable)
November: Costume balance or can be broken in to a 3-month payment schedule for Oct, Nov, Dec
Recital Fee
This fee is due upon registration and includes one performance t-shirt which will be worn for Recital and any other special performances deemed necessary by the directors.
Competition Fee
This fee covers expenses by the studio for transportation of props, materials that may need to be made and directors travel expenses. No additional fees will be billed should there need to be additional practices prior to competition. Will cover cost if we choose to enhance a costume.
Late Registration Fee
Any registrations received after November 1st will be assessed an additional $15 late registration fee. There will be an additional 20% on the costume fee listed above to cover the special order and shipping costs.
Payment options
We will email you a bill the last week of the month for payment on the 2nd of the following month. You can pay online, set up an automatic withdrawal if you choose to, or checks will be accepted. If there is a returned check, there will be a $40.00 charge assessed and after a second return, you will only be allowed to pay by cash. We understand situations chance, please discuss with us and we’ll do our best to find an alternative payment arrangement!
Late fee
There will be a $2.00 per class late fee for each student registered if payment is not received on the 2nd of each month.
Drop Policy
If you choose to drop a class or discontinue classes you must fill out a drop/change form with the receptionist by the 20th of the month. Failure to report to class does not constitute a drop. If a class is dropped after the 20th of the month the account will be charged for the following month’s tuition and any applicable fees; accounts will continue to be charged until a drop/change form is completed or written communication is provided to the owners.
NO REFUNDS
We limit our class size and each child has reserved a spot that could have gone to another student.
GENERAL POLICIES
Attire
Any form-fitting dancewear allowing students to stretch & move is acceptable –Hair must be pulled away from face. We will not compromise on this rule as it is for each child's safety.
Communications
Communication will be sent to the email address provided at registration as well as the website. Please read these communications and be sure to check the website for updates!!! This is the best form of communication we have for relaying important information.
Insurance
Wilson Dance Co., does not carry medical insurance for its students. It is required that all students be covered by their own family insurance policies. In the event of an injury, it is understood that the student's own policy is the only source of reimbursement.
Snow Days
The studio will follow the weather cancellations of the PCM Community School District. If they deem it unsafe for children to be out on the road and cancel school for the day or let school out early, studio classes will not be held. If in doubt, text Lainy at 641-651-0315. Cancellations due to weather will NOT be refunded or rescheduled.
Holidays
Holidays will generally follow school schedules. Vacation dates will be posted on the website calendar. We do not close for Martin Luther King Holiday, President’s Day, school conferences, teacher workdays, or other miscellaneous school closings
Attendance
All students must attempt to attend all regularly scheduled classes. Good attendance is imperative, as absences and tardiness can hold back an entire class. No refunds will be given for missed classes. We will track attendance.
Solos & Special Numbers
Solos for the recital are reserved for seniors. Each senior will perform his/her solo in one recital if they wish. All other special numbers for the recital will be selected by the directors and must be choreographed by Staff.
Conferences with Instructors
Conferences may be arranged with instructors at any time if deemed necessary. All conferences must be scheduled through the office – not the teacher. Miscellaneous
• Children need to be potty trained to attend classes & perform in recitals.
• Pictures will be taken throughout the year and could possibly be used in promotions for the studio and/or newspaper articles about the children's successes.
• We are NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.
• Bringing a water bottle is encouraged, please be sure a name is on it.
• We reserve the right to refuse service.
