First Aid Agreement
While the Creations team does as much as we can to ensure the safety of all our dancers, students participate at their own risk. In the case of injury or illness, Creations staff will administer appropriate first aid. This includes calling an ambulance if required.

Photo Agreement
Throughout the year, photos may be taken by Creations Staff. These may be shared online or used in advertisements.

You can notify us if you DO NOT want photos of your student used in any way after registering. To do this, on the portal homepage click waivers then select "I do not want photos to be used publicly", then select Accept.

Please indicate that you understand and agree to the above.

Creations School of Dance Policies
1. Respectful Behaviour:
• Students, parents, and teachers are expected to treat each other with kindness and respect.
• Discrimination, bullying, or any form of disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated.
2. Attendance:
• Arrive on time and prepared for classes, rehearsals, and performances.
• Strive to attend all scheduled dance classes and rehearsals.
• Notify Creations in advance of any planned absences.
3. Absences
• Notify Creations in advance of any planned absences.
• Inform the school promptly of any illness or unexpected circumstances that may affect attendance.
• Make an effort to catch up on missed material through additional practice or communication with instructors.
• Creations will work with students and parents to address any challenges affecting attendance.
• Excessive absences may impact a student's eligibility to participate in performances or events.
4. Dress Code:
• Adhere to the specified dance attire for each class. Details in yearly handbook.
• Wear appropriate dance shoes for each dance style. Details in yearly handbook.
• Tie back long hair securely during classes to ensure focus and safety.
• Limit the use of accessories that may interfere with movement.
5. Payment:
• Invoices are sent as per schedule outlined in yearly handbook.
• Payment is due within 30 days; a 10% late fee is applied thereafter.
• In the event of a late payment, the school will issue a reminder notice to the payer.
• Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns regarding your invoice or payment process. We are happy to arrange payment plans or similar if necessary.
• If fees remain unpaid beyond 45 days, the school reserves the right to temporarily suspend a student's participation in classes until payment is received.
6. Emergencies:
• In case of emergency, follow instructions from instructors or staff.
7. Injuries and First Aid:
• Report injuries to instructors immediately.
• First aid will be administered as necessary.
• Families agree to teachers or staff calling an ambulance if deemed necessary.
8. Liability Waiver
• Parents and students acknowledge the inherent risks associated with dance activities and confirms the participant's understanding and acceptance of these risks. By agreeing, participants and their legal guardians release the dance school from any liability for injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during classes, performances, or related events.
9. Photography Policy:
• Obtain consent before posting images or videos of students on social media.
• Adhere to school policies regarding photography and videography during classes.
• Obtain consent for any media captured during performances or events.
• Have checked the “opt-out of public photos” check box when registering if you would like us to NOT publish photos of your student.
10. Observation Guidelines:
• Preschool Classes – Parents are welcome to participate with their student or observe class within the studio or foyer. Please inform teacher if parent is leaving the premises.
• Junior Classes (5-9yrs) – Parents may observe class within the studio while their student is settling in. After this period, parents may observe from the foyer or drop off their student and return at the conclusion of their class.
• Inter and Senior Classes (10yrs+) – Parents are asked to drop their student off and return at the conclusion of their class.
By enrolling at Creations School of Dance, you agree to abide by these policies, contributing to a positive and safe dance environment for everyone. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action or dismissal from the school. We appreciate your commitment to creating a respectful and enriching dance experience.
