Bri's Dance Place (BDP) is a private, faith-based dance studio committed to excellence in dance education while fostering confidence, discipline, leadership, creativity, and character. We operate according to Christian values while welcoming families from all backgrounds. Enrollment is a privilege, and Bri's Dance Place reserves the absolute right, at its sole discretion, to refuse, suspend, or terminate enrollment without refund when a parent, guardian, student, or guest engages in behavior that is disruptive, abusive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, defamatory, or inconsistent with the studio's mission, Christian values, policies, or code of conduct. This includes repeated violations of financial policies, social media policies, or conduct that negatively impacts the safety, learning environment, reputation, or operation of the studio.
By signing this waiver, I agree to the following policies.
WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
I, the undersigned, hereby give permission for my child to participate in the above-named dance class/program. I understand that participation in athletic activities involves physical exertion and carries the risk of injury, including but not limited to sprains, strains, fractures, concussions, or more serious injuries, including death.
In consideration of being permitted to participate in this program, I, on behalf of myself, my child, and our heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, do hereby:
Acknowledge and accept the risks associated with participation in dance, including the possibility of injury or illness (including communicable diseases such as MRSA, influenza, and COVID-19).
Release, waive, and discharge the organization, its directors, officers, employees, instructors, volunteers, sponsors, and agents (collectively referred to as “Releasees”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, losses, or damages arising from participation, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
Agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any and all claims resulting from my child’s participation, including but not limited to injury, illness, property damage, or death, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise.
Authorize emergency medical treatment if I or my listed emergency contact cannot be reached, and agree to bear the costs of any such treatment.
Agree to abide by all rules, guidelines, and safety instructions provided by the program organizers.
PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE
I give permission for photos and/or video of my child taken during the program to be used for promotional and educational purposes by the organization.
By accepting the invitation to join and enroll the studio, we agree tot he following policies:

Enrollment
Enrollment is for the full season (September– July unless otherwise stated). Tuition fees are paid monthly or annually. When you are enrolling, you are enrolling for the complete season, teaching our dancers commitment. Tuition reserves your dancer's place in class and is due regardless of attendance, vacations, illness, holidays, or extracurricular activities. We have Rollover Registration making it convenient for our families to grow with us. If you choose to opt out for our next season you will have to let us know by April15th before membership fees are drafted.
Communication
We are committed to maintaining clear communication and addressing concerns promptly. If you have any questions or issues regarding billing, please contact us directly so we can work toward a resolution.
Payments
An active debit/credit card must remain on file and enrolled in AutoPay. A family cannot enroll if they do not have an active card saved to Auto Pay. Tuition is drafted on the 25th of each month. Zelle payments are due by the 20th to brisdanceplace@gmail.com. No cash is accepted.
Refund Policy
All payments including registration, tuition, costumes, recital fees, workshops, photography, retail items and events are non-refundable unless BDP cancels the class due to low enrollment.
Withdrawal
Thirty (30) days written notice is required. Families withdrawing before completing their season agree to pay a $210 early withdrawal fee. Outstanding balances must be paid before future enrollment. Early Withdrawal Fee will be processed immediately if you decide to drop your enrollment. If the drop fee is not paid, you will no longer be allowed to use any of Bri's Dance Place services in the future until the fee is paid.
Late Fees
Payments after the 25th incur a $35 late fee. An additional $35 fee is added after 10 days. Accounts more than 10 days late may be suspended or unenrolled. Past Due Accounts - Students whose accounts have a past due balance will not be permitted to class.
Attendance & Recital
No make-up classes are offered. Dancers must remain enrolled through the final month of classes, attend required Tech Week and Dress Rehearsal, arrive on time, and have all balances paid in full to participate in recital. Missing the final month of classes or required rehearsals, or arriving more than 10 minutes late without written approval, will result in removal from the recital without refund.
Missed Classes
If a child is unable to attend a class, please log the absence in your parent portal. We do not offer make up classes.
Classes Per Month- A full month of classes shall be 3-5 classes per month.
Private Lessons
Private lessons must be prepaid and booked through BDP. Families may not solicit BDP instructors for private instruction outside the studio for one year after booking through BDP.
Conduct
BDP is a profanity-free, drug-free environment. Parents and students agree to treat staff and other families with respect and resolve concerns directly with the studio rather than through social media.
Social Media
Please remember that your anonymity on Social Media is never guaranteed and to exercise particular caution when posts, images, or videos identify children in your care.
Remain mindful that your behavior on Social Media remains in keeping with Bris Dance Place (BDPs) code of conduct.
Any comments or posts perceived to be obscene, defamatory, threatening, harassing, discriminatory or hateful towards BDPs staff, students or families may subject the owner to disciplinary or legal action. Should you wish to engage on Social Media while identifying as a studio dancer parent volunteer or employee, you may only do so with integrity, respect, and adhere to privacy and confidentiality policy. Any content revealing or referring to sensitive studio information is not allowed to be shared online.
No posting of choreography, rehearsal footage, confidential studio information, or images of other children without parental consent. Negative or defamatory posts regarding BDP will result in dismissal from the studio.
All matters pertaining directly to the studio whether it be fees, scheduling, choreography, music, placements or performance opportunities may not be communicated via Social Media. We have an open door policy and encourage all communication, complaints and feedback to be communicated to the Administrator directly and not via social media posts, even if subliminal.
We discourage parents / students and teachers from becoming friends or followers on Social Media, unless there is an existing relationship. We consider all studio members to be family and as such feel the obligation to respect and monitor personal boundaries.
Families found to be engaging in hidden or private groups formed for the specific purpose of discussing studio matters will be warned against discussing Studio matters in their private online groups.
You may not post photographs / videos that feature BDPs dancers other than your own online without the proven consent of their parent/guardian.
Identifying information of any featured minors including names, ages or location must be removed when posting on Social Media.
Intellectual Property
All choreography, music edits, curriculum, manuals, branding, logos, and materials remain the exclusive property of Bri's Dance Place.
Liability Waiver
Dance involves risks including sprains, fractures, concussions, illness, permanent injury, and death. I voluntarily allow my child to participate and assume all risks. I release and hold harmless Bri's Dance Place, its owner, instructors, employees, contractors, volunteers, sponsors, and agents from claims arising from participation to the fullest extent permitted by Indiana law.
Medical Authorization
I authorize emergency medical treatment if I or my emergency contact cannot be reached and accept responsibility for associated costs.
Media Release
I authorize BDP to photograph or video my child for promotional, educational, and marketing purposes without compensation unless I submit a written opt-out. Previously published materials need not be removed.
Chargebacks
I agree not to initiate a chargeback before attempting to resolve billing directly with BDP. I am responsible for any fees, collection costs, attorney fees, and court costs arising from improper chargebacks. Any account that initiates a chargeback will be immediately removed from all classes and activities. Additionally, further actions will be pursued to recover fees and associated costs incurred due to the dispute.
Acknowledgment
I have read, understand, and voluntarily agree to this Enrollment Agreement, Studio Policies, Assumption of Risk, Liability Waiver, Medical Authorization, and Media Release. I understand I am giving up certain legal rights, including the right to sue, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
