Tuition Policy
a) Upon enrollment, payment can be made by credit card, debit card, or ACH draft from your bank account. At least one form of payment is required to enroll. Everyone is required to have a credit card on file regardless of how you plan to pay tuition. When registering on Dance Studio-Pro, please go to Payment and sign up for Auto Pay to keep your information secure.
b) Monthly tuition payments will be drafted out of your bank account or charged to your credit card on the first day of every month during the school year. If the first of the month falls on a weekend, the draft may not hit your account until the next business day. There is a $25 charge for insufficient funds.
c) Monthly tuition is based on the total number of classes per year. It remains the same September through May, although the number of lessons may vary from month to month.

Refund Policy
a) There are no refunds or credits for missed dance days due to holidays.
b) There is no price reduction for lessons missed or bad weather days.
c) Dance Maker tuition and registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
d) Notification to withdraw from classes must be received in writing at least 30 days in advance to stop tuition payment for the following month.

Dancewear Orders Policy
To be cost-effective for all, we place dancewear orders only on the 1st of every month. If your child needs new tights, leotards, or shoes, please let us know their size and color before the 1st of the month. Otherwise, they will have to wait until the following month.

Release of Liability Waiver
As the legal parent or guardian of the participating student, I release and hold harmless Art Maker (DBA Dance Maker Academy), its owners, operators, management, and staff from all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of, or related to, any loss, damage, or injury including death that may be sustained by the participating student while in or upon the premises or en route to or from any said premises under the control and supervision of Art Maker (DBA Dance Maker Academy), its owners, operators, management, and staff.

Permission to Use Photographs
I agree that Art Maker (DBA Dance Maker Academy) may use photographs of participating students with or without their name and for any lawful purpose including but not limited to publicity, education, illustration, advertising, and internet content. Still or moving images of the participating student may not be used for profit without express permission of the parent.

The Nutcracker Ballet
a) Cast members must be enrolled in at least one dance class per week. No exceptions.
b) Students in Ballet 1 and above are welcome to audition for The Nutcracker Ballet.
c) Rehearsals will be during regular classes, and on a few Saturdays throughout the semester.
d) More than two unexcused absences from rehearsals will require a 30 minute $40 Private Lesson make-up.
e) Theater week rehearsals will be at the Constantine Theater on December 9-10th at 5:00pm. Attendance is required.
f) Performances for public school students will be December 11th and 12th during school hours.
g) Performances for the general public will be December 13th at 7:00pm and December 14th at 3:00pm.
h) All parents of cast members will be expected to volunteer in some way.

Annual Spring Performance
Our Annual Spring Performance will be May 16th at 7:00pm and May 17th at 3:00pm; dress rehearsal will be May 14th OR May 15th at 5:00pm (depending on level), all at the Constantine Theater. All students are welcome to perform in the show.
Starting in September, a fee of $20 per month will be applied toward the total cost of your costumes.
Please note that refunds will not be issued if participants choose to withdraw.
