By enrolling in classes or participating in activities with Meraki Academy of Dance, I acknowledge and agree to the following financial policies:

1. I understand that tuition is due on a recurring basis as outlined by the studio and must be paid on time to maintain enrollment.

2. I understand that tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable, including in cases of missed classes, withdrawal, or dismissal, unless otherwise stated by the studio.

3. I acknowledge that late payments may incur additional fees and that failure to make payments may result in suspension or removal from classes.

4. I understand that additional fees may apply throughout the season, including but not limited to:
(a) registration fees
(b) costume fees
(c) recital/performance fees
(d) competition fees (if applicable)

5. I understand that participation in performances or competition teams may require additional financial commitments and agree to fulfill those obligations if I choose to participate.

6. I agree to keep a valid payment method on file if required by the studio and authorize scheduled payments as outlined.

By enrolling in classes or participating in activities with Meraki Academy of Dance, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

I understand that dance is a physical activity that involves inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, collisions, and other potential injuries.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions, and related activities.

I hereby release, waive, and hold harmless Meraki Academy of Dance, its owners, instructors, staff, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising out of or related to participation, to the fullest extent permitted under North Carolina law.

In the event of an emergency, I authorize the studio to seek medical treatment for the participant if I cannot be reached.

By enrolling in classes or participating in activities with Meraki Academy of Dance, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

I understand the importance of consistent attendance and commitment to my/my child’s dance education. Regular attendance is essential for progress, choreography, and group routines.

I understand that missed classes are not guaranteed make-ups unless otherwise approved by the studio.

I agree to follow all studio policies, including dress code requirements. Proper attire and shoes must be worn to participate in class.

I understand that dancers are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors, staff, and fellow students. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in dismissal from class.

I acknowledge that parent and spectator cooperation is important to maintaining a positive and supportive environment. I agree to respect studio policies and staff decisions at all times.

I understand that recital, performances, and/or competition participation may include additional commitments such as rehearsals, costumes, fees, and scheduled performance times, which will be communicated in advance.

By enrolling in classes or participating in activities with Meraki Academy of Dance, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

I grant permission for the participant to be photographed, video recorded, and/or audio recorded during classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions, and studio events.

I authorize Meraki Academy of Dance to use these materials for promotional purposes, including social media, website content, marketing materials, recital programs, and studio displays.

I understand that:

These materials may be edited and used indefinitely
No compensation will be provided
All media is the property of Meraki Academy of Dance

I acknowledge that activities take place in group settings and that participants may appear in group photos or videos where individual exclusion is not feasible.

I understand that third-party photographers or videographers may be present at events and consent to participation in such recordings.

I consent to audio recording as part of video capture in accordance with North Carolina law.

I agree to follow studio social media guidelines and will not post photos or videos of other dancers without appropriate permission.
