REFINE THE STUDIO - POLICIES
CLASS ATTIRE
Dancers are welcome to wear their choice of moveable clothing to all classes, with hair pulled back from face, and are required to wear their respected style shoes (ex - tap shoes, tennis shoes, jazz shoes, etc.)
Dancers are required to wear a leotard, tights, and Ballet shoes with a hair in a bun for Ballet.
Please speak with Breanna if you are unsure of what shoes or attire the class will need.
Clothing that is distracting to other dancers will need to be removed from the studio during class time.
CLASS BEHAVIOR
Dancers are to be held to the highest standard of behavior, and expected to be kind and respectful of all students and faculty. By encouraging our students to not just be strong dancers, but also kind humans, we are paving a road for success in all outlets of their lives.
Any and all behavioral issues taking place within the studio premises will be first corrected by faculty.
If said issue continues, parent/guardian(s) will be involved, and correctional steps will be put in place to ensure success for the student.
Sitting out of class is allowed when necessary, for reasons of being ill or having school work. Dancers will need to sit in the break room as to not distract other dancers in class.
All classes at Refine are CLOSED.
Parents are welcome to sit in and watch only during the scheduled Parent Watch Week(s)
STUDIO BEHAVIOR
Dancers are expected to be respectful of our space, and mindful of their belongings.
Refine is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. However, we will do our best to help locate and get those items home.
Students are welcome to bring/store food within our lobby areas. Food kept in the fridge will be thrown out at the end of each week.
ABSENCES
Absences are to be expected with life schedules.
Please notify Breanna of your absence as soon as possible.
Up to 5 absences can be made up in other classes of the students choosing.
***Attendance is mandatory the week prior to any performances.
RECITAL
All dancers consistently coming to classes are encouraged, but not required to participate in our end of the year recital taking place within the month of June. Attendance in recital will need to be stated by February 1st to accurately choreograph routines.

TUITION
There is a $25 registration & enrollment fee per student annually due by the end of the first week of classes. This fee is not refundable.
Tuition is due the 1st of each month in full.
Tuition can be paid in the cash box located in the studio OR through the parents DanceStudio Pro account.
A $10 late fee will occur for payments 7 days past due.
All fees remain the same regardless of length of months/holidays/absences.
A sibling discount of 20% will be given to those who want to enroll more than one dancer in a family as long as 1 dancer is paying full price.
Classes can be added at any time.
To cancel any upcoming classes, please speak with Breanna and give two weeks notice.
Payments made cannot be refunded regardless of class attendance, unless extreme circumstance signed off by Breanna.
OPTIONAL FEES
The Dance Team Project:
This class is offered for those between the ages of 11 and 18+ to learn the in’s and out’s of dance team. As a preparatory class, dancers will learn everything from how to dress for an audition, proper etiquette, necessary technique, and even speak with current local dance team coaches and alumni. This class takes place every other Saturday, and is a $10 add on per month to students already enrolled in Refine. Those who are not enrolled at Refine or chose not to enroll in the class are able to pay a $15/class drop in fee.
Studio Jacket:
Our studio jacket is a dancers choice of denim jacket, embroidered with our logo. If you would like to get your jacket embroidered please bring it to Breanna to be approved and embroidered for a $20 charge.
Company members are required to have a studio jacket.
CANCELLATIONS
Refine will communicate all cancellations a respectable time before the scheduled class.
INJURIES
By enrolling and agreeing to these terms and conditions, all parents, guardians, dancers, and visitors waive their right to any legal action against Refine The Studio and all its entities for any injuries formed on Refine The Studio property before, during, or after class times.
