Addies Flip Tip and Tap Studio Policies
Class Times: Classes will be held every Tuesday or Thursday according to your child's assigned class time. The first lesson will be either Tuesday, August 13th or Thursday, August 15th. Classes will continue through the recital date in May. The studio will remain locked until 3:50 on class days. Please be prompt when dropping off and picking up your child.
Class Fees: There is a registration fee of $25.00 per student per class and a monthly fee of $50.00 for your child's dance lessons and/or a monthly fee of $50.00 for your child's gymnastics lessons. High and Middle School Class with Prep is $60.00. The competitive dance class monthly fee is $70.00. The monthly fee is due by the first class of the month. The monthly fee is due regardless, even if your child is absent for any lesson. There will be a late fee added one week after due date for unpaid tuition, Accounts may be paid through the parent portal (plus a 3.5% processing fee for transactions) or at the studio office. Once submitted, any payments are non-refundable/non-transferrable. Sorry, no exceptions!
Attendance: It is necessary that students attend classes on a regular basis for skill development.
Announcements: IMPORTANT!!. Please make sure your contact information in the Dance Studio Pro Parent Portal is up to date at all times. Most information will be shared on our Addie's Flip Tip and Tap Facebook page and text and/or emails from the Dance Studio Pro Parent Portal about last minute happenings and reminders.
Cell Phones: Students must put their phones away during class. There will be limited access to devices during class. If you need contact with your child, please contact the studio. Instructors may secure phones during class to avoid issues.
Class Schedules: We reserve the right to change and or combine any offered classes due to registration and class sizes.
Contact Information: Please maintain current information (cell, address, email etc.) in the Parent Portal.
Dress Code: Students should wear some type of appropriate clothing during class time. Street clothes are not considered appropriate. It is required that dance shoes be brought to class each week in a personalized bag. AFTT recommends that all shoes be marked on the inside with your child's name. Please keep belongings to a minimum.
Dropping Off, Picking up and Parking: Parking spaces are limited. There is parking along the back and side of our building. Please do not park in the lots or block the drives of the neighboring businesses. Your child should wait INSIDE the studio until you arrive to pick them up. Please be on time to pick up your child, we will not be responsible for them after their class instruction time.
Food and Drink: Please make sure your child has a snack BEFORE class starts.
Trash: Trash cans are located in all rooms. Please throw away trash and pick up after yourselves. Help keep our studio clean inside and outside!
Lost Items: Each student is responsible for their personal belongings. Please ask in the office to claim any lost and found items.
Studio Closing: We will go by Russellville City School's yearly calendar for holidays and breaks. Should school be dismissed early or cancelled due to weather or extreme circumstances, classes will be cancelled. Visiting Children: Parents are expected to be responsible for their children when at the Studio any time other than their instruction time. ALL visiting children must have adult supervision while in the Studio.
Privacy: Please be aware, from time to time as dance events occur throughout the year, pictures of your child could be posted to our social media sources.
