Dress Code Reminders:
***YOU CAN FIND THE DRESS CODE ON OUR WEBSITE OR IN THE HANDBOOK.***

*You will be asked to come to class each week dressed properly. If you do not have your proper attire, you will be asked to watch until you are ready for class. If your child has an accident, we have a "Borrow Box" at the front desk. Please wash and return items the next week.

*Did you know? No panties are needed to be worn under leotards.

*It is custom that ballerinas like to decorate their buns with rhinestones, ribbons, flowers, and etc. You are encouraged to be creative with your bun.

*Please leave your long earrings, necklaces, and bracelets at home. It gets in the student’s way while dancing and can throw a student’s turn off balance.

*No Wal-Mart shoes allowed. They are hurting the dancer’s feet and they will tear our floors.

*Please respect your dancewear by keeping it clean and free from holes. Leotards with holes in them need to be repaired.

*If you need support under your leotard, please wear a nude camisole leotard under your dancewear. You can wear a sports bra. Please no regular bras with straps hanging out of your leotards.

*You must arrive and leave the studio in your flip flops or crocs. (Any slip on shoe)

*Please wear a cover over your leotard and tights when outside the studio.

*No pacifiers, baby blankets, or stuffed animals need to be brought in the studio. These cause a major distraction for the students.

*Please bring your dance shoes in a bag. This helps the dancers keep up with their shoes.

*Make sure you write your child’s name on all of their shoes and clothing items. You can write the name on the bottom of the ballet shoe or on the inside. You may want to write their name on the bottom of the tap shoe in front of the back tap. Keep in mind you may see the bottom of their shoe in recital pictures.

*PLEASE UNWRAP NEW SHOES BEFORE CLASS. (Remove moisture packets & tissue /No Tap Laces are Needed)

*I will not fit shoes during dance class. Please schedule a fitting.

*Convertible tights have a hole on the bottom of the foot for easy access to the dancer’s feet. This is great for slipping on their flip flops to leave the studio or transitioning to acro!

(DO NOT WEAR YOUR DANCE SHOES OUTSIDE THE STUDIO!)

(Outside oils can cause the floor to become very slick. This includes body oil.)

You may purchase shoes and tights at CMD or at a location of your choice. NO TARGET OR WAL-MART SHOES. All leotards will be purchased through CMD.

*Students can be fitted for shoes at the studio on Supply Day or by appointment. You may purchase dancewear at the front desk at any given time.

**WASH YOUR LEOTARDS (ANY rhinestones & vinyl logo wear) INSIDE OUT IN COLD WATER, GENTLE CYCLE. HANG TO DRY!**

I hereby authorize Central Mississippi Dance to charge my credit card on the first day of each month (or other terms outlined in a separate agreement) and apply this payment toward my installment plan.. I also authorize Central Mississippi Dance to charge my credit card a $45 annual family registration fee upon enrollment of classes. Should my credit card transaction be declined, I understand that a service charge of $30 will be assessed and billed to me direct. In the event my credit card transactions are declined on a repeated basis, I understand that my continued participation in the automatic payment program may be terminated. If this occurs, I understand that to ensure non-interruption of my child's dance education, I will be required to remit any past due tuition, as well as the remaining year tuition. This payment will be non-refundable. If for any reason, you need to cease your year's tuition obligation to CMD, simply submit a withdrawal email/letter 30 days prior. Once notification has been received and your account is paid in full , your automatic payment plan will be inactivated. You will not receive a refund for the class you did not attend if you discontinue in the middle of the month. Any dancer withdrawing after October 15th, will be required to pay $90 per costume per class, which will be debited at the time of written withdrawal notice.

Monthly tuition is posted and drafted on the 1st of each month. Tuition is paid in nine monthly installments. (August-April) Choices for payment plans are monthly automatic draft, or annual by check, cash, or draft. We do not refund tuition. Please make sure you have a current saved method of payment on your account under "Auto Pay" even if you wish to pay by cash.
-Tuition NOT paid by the 5th of each month for any reason will receive a $10 late fee added to their account.
-Bounced checks will receive a $30 fee.

Recital Fee of $80 per dancer (includes recital video links to all shows) will be charged in March.

Liability Release: I acknowledge and understand the nature of physical activities, I understand accidents and/or physical injury may occur. I acknowledge that I could come into contact with germs and bacteria at dance class. I agree to participate at my own risk. I agree to release and hold harmless all parties involved including Reagan Cooper, Central Mississippi Dance. including any and all staff members from any cause of action, claims, or demands now and in the future. I will not hold Reagan Cooper, or Central Mississippi Dance as a whole or its staff liable for any personal injury, catastrophic injury or any personal property damage or loss, which may occur on the premises before, during or after classes.

Tuition Rates & Refunds '26-'27
Refunds:

Refunds will not be given for tuition, registration fees, costume payments, or recital fees.

The CMD regular year runs August through April.

If a student, for any reason, has to withdraw from the school after class has begun, the parent must submit a written letter by e-mail. The dancer will be dropped from classes 30 days after written request has been received.

Dancers are allowed to switch classes.

Non-attendance is not considered withdrawal from a class.

Costumes will be billed and must be paid by October15th. Combo classes have TWO costumes. Beginner and Intermediate Acro, as well as, Leaps and Turns will NOT participate in the recital. Therefor, these classes are not billed for costumes. Any dancer withdrawing after October 15th, will be required to pay $90 per costume per class, which will be debited at the time of written withdrawal notice. (We are not billing out costumes monthly.)
